The grounds are well kept, and the walking trail around the complex is great for my dog. 3. Bethany and Tammy are very nice, they always offer to assist in any way they can and will send the property owner emails if I request it. 4. It is walking distance to grocery stores & 1 mile to the freeway (but traffic has increased greatly while I've lived here and is only going to continue to get worse with the new apartment complex next door, the new BJ's that are building across the street and all the new housing communities that are being built in Mount Juliet). 5. The high ceilings make the apartment feel spacious. 6. Maintenance is quick to respond to requests. Not so good things about the complex: 1. $191 late fee for rent (My issue was due to auto pay). My payment history shows I am on time every month with auto pay and I also have a stable job working with Veterans and am a good tenant, but the property owner Woodward Management Partners would not work with me on an honest mistake. 2. Pricey apartments and high renewal rates. When I was offered renewal rates, my two bedroom two bath offer, with the additional monthly fees, was $2,121. There were two other apartments of the exact same floor plan as mine being offered for rent at $1850 and $1900. The owner Woodward Management Partners agreed not to raise my rent for this next year, but would not price match what they were renting the other units out for. 3. I can clearly hear the domestic violence situation downstairs. On a positive note Mount Juliet Police have a quick response time. And when they have family over, large groups of men tend to congregate by the pool, which makes me uncomfortable while walking my dog after I get home from work late at night. 4. My fridge was changed out three times in the first 6 months because the ice machine stopped working - my newest fridge had mold in it and I thoroughly cleaned it out. My ice machine still does not work, but I am tired of the damage on the walls that the maintenance causes when they change my fridge, because then I need to do requests to have their damage fixed. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to charge me for this whenever I move out. 5. The pool area is only open 3 months of the year - those chairs are like new because no one is ever able to sit in them. 6. They tack on extra fees to the rent which is equivalent to $55. They charge you monthly to keep the lights on in the parking lot ($12), property damage waiver ($13), administration fee ($1), trash ($25) , and Pest Control ($4). And another charge to register your pet on a website.

I live in a 2 beds 2 baths condo unit with my sister and we love it. One of the things that really drew me to this place was the tall windows with amazing views of nature. I love when the natural light illuminates a room on a bright sunny day. Great for the neural cells. That's what you get when you live here. There are high ceilings throughout and a spacious living room. The dining area is good sized. There's a master bedroom with en suite bathroom. The other bedroom and bathroom are separate from one another. Both bedrooms have walk-in closets. The Kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, cooktop, Oven and ample storage. It also includes a built-in wine cooler, dishwasher, microwave, and a nice fridge. You also get a washer and dryer in the unit. I have to say that one of the drawbacks of my unit is the carpet. Our condo unit is carpeted throughout, except in the kitchen, bathrooms and entrance area. Ideally, i would've prefer all wooden floors because no one likes to deal with carpet stains. I know I don't! It's not a huuuuuge big deal tough. The amenities are some of the best features of this complex. First, the complex has a gated entrance to the community. As a resident, you get two parking passes, 1 visitor parking pass (for your guests), and 1 garage parking spot. The Enclave features a Fitness center- Bike Room - Package Room - Work area with Free WiFi - Clubhouse with pool table and TV - Event space (with reservations) - Free Coffee. The Coffee area has a Starbucks brewing coffee machine and it is also stocked with tea bags, sugar and hot chocolate. Gimme!! The area is accessible 24/7 to all residents free of charge. Pet owners are most welcome. This building is pet friendly. My two beautiful Persian cats loved running around the apartment. For all my "go green" folks, the building has a recycling place, which was a plus for me. The management folks here are amazing. They would email you when you get a package delivered to the main receiving area. If you have any issues with your condo, the management will send a maintenance person to check it out. In the pre-Covid times, they would host Christmas holiday parties for all of their residents to get together. During Covid, big gatherings were not allowed obviously. I believe residents deserve accurate billing, respect for their privacy, and professionalism from apartment staff. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and implements better oversight to prevent similar situations from happening to other tenants.

For 2 days I might have seen a roach or two, but then I didn't see any after that. Management keeps on top of fumigation and they let us know that fumigation is included in our rent, so if we see anything, they schedule someone to come in and fumigate the following Thursday. I haven't had any issues to call in about regarding roaches. The staff is friendly. However, every time I go and bring up an issue, they will tell you in a friendly manner if perhaps it was something you did. My biggest grief with this apartment complex is that it is severely behind times. For example, you cannot find any online. Your only way to pay for rent is via money order or personal check. This means the money doesn't get taken out of your account on the day you turn in your personal check, it gets taken out whenever they cash it. In a similar fashion, you cannot submit work orders online. You have to catch someone at the office to submit it. So, if you work a 8-5 job, you better make it there before they close. Lastly, even things like documentation cannot be emailed. I asked for a pet fee to be removed, since I didn't have the pet anymore. I was told I couldn't email them my request because then I couldn't prove that I was making that request. Instead, I needed to submit a handwritten, not typed, letter explaining why my pet fee needed removal. If you're comfortable with all of these nuances, then it's a great place to live in. Personally, for the prices we are paying, we need more online services to be provided.

Floors are not leveled and if you live on the bottom you will hear a lot of walking or someone's dog running above you. Dish washer stop working almost a month ago had water in my pots and pans while dealing with a death in my family and no one was able to tell me about the damage. Water gets shut off a lot. Who ever cleans the carpet did not do a good job because I had fleas (prior tenant with dog denied having them it was so many she probably got use to living with them) but the staff did a great job at staying on top of it. You can smell when people don't clean their dog in the hall! Overall If you need to save money it isn't a bad place. You pay for what you get!

The management is superb. In comparison to other apartment complexes I have lived in, this team really has it together. They are always available to help, track down a package, or get you in touch with maintenance asap. They are very nice people and easy to work with. Going out on a limb, I would say that the Brighton Valley Community is the best complex in the South Nashville area. I would recommend this quaint community to any friend.
