So I dropped everyone off and search for a place that was an expensive and close enough. This place popped up. Average burger and fries was about eight bucks, so it was definitely a good deal. What we ordered: 2x Bacon cheeseburger with fries 3x cheeseburger with tots 3x cheeseburger with fries 2x kids hot dog meal that included fries and a small drink. By the time I arrived, the meals were prepared. They have a drive thru, but I just walked in to see what it looked like. It was definitely very spacious. I don't often tip for semi-fast food stuff but I popped a five dollar bill on the tab just because they were efficient and nice. The food exit was quite good. Burgers were enjoyed by everyone, and the kids didn't like the hotdogs. The price was spot on. Can't complain about good food for a good price. The only glitch was after getting all of the silverware, fry sauce (something new to me) drinks napkins ketchup etc., I asked the girl for a small water as I had a long drive back. She said it was $.25. I had just spent $80 there on food as well as tipping five dollars I thought that was strange. The girl didn't even offer a side cup. So I was standing there mystified and then the manager/owner came up and apologized and then gave me a cup. She said the charge was just because the cups cost money, but since I had spent so much... It definitely would've come out of her tip lol. But anyway, everything else was great

We were able to get our table early which was great! Our Knob Hill Manhattan cocktails were served chilled to perfection and went down nicely. We started with a couple of appetizers, scallops and foie gras. The scallops were ok but the foie gras was the winner. What a combination of flavors! My mouth was very happy. We were seated at a table next to the window and in front of the fire place. A very nice table indeed. The restaurant is very cozy with great ambiance and I never felt that it was too loud and the service was great. Dinner for me was the Colorado Bass, cooked nicely with a crunchy skin. My friend had the pappardelle bolognese. I had a bite of that and it was delicious! Dessert though....Amaro Affogato. (Fun to say and defined: Bitter Drowned) A great way to end the meal. Get it.

The steak was extremely generous for a breakfast steak, thick and cooked to a perfect mid rare. Nice over medium eggs and tasty hash browns. Even the sourdough toast was perfect. Theirs so many better options out there. Let me expound, they give 4 tortillas less than a spoon full of guacamole maybe a spoon full of sour cream and ZERO cheese. Our waitress was rude and completely messed up our drinks cause she wasn't even listening. I'm like ok no problem will just take them at 15.00 a drink. If you want WAY better service and food all the way around go to Janitizios. They have fajitas where the extra mile to drive is well worth it . We've been there so many times but because of the time they were closed. This is now a second time fail on el Caporal. Last time it was the lack of communication on their seafood. I've gotta say as a local I'm probably not gonna return to this establishment. Obviously the owners do not pay attention to where the mistakes need to be addressed. With so many options available in twin I'd say avoid this place and seek way better options. Sad to see a restaurant capable of doing better and actually offering the amount proportionate to the plate completely fail on every level. But also seeing other restaurants have the ability to fullfill that at a way better price refreshing. Janitizios for the win!!!
