A Large (10-12) is more like a Medium (6-8) pre wash. Absolutely need to size up if you're willing to run the risk of the shirt just falling apart on you. Went back to exchange for non-defective shirts but they would not offer any assistance because we didn't keep the receipt. Man worker first said he could try to look it up because we charged it, but the woman worker with the shoulder length dirty brown wavy hair kept telling him not to help me make it right. Standard gimmick store tourist trap. The staff is very friendly and helpful when you're asking questions about products pre-purchase. BUT, zero customer service skills post sale. Money grab store that doesn't take responsibility for their defective products. Unless, allegedly, you have your receipt. KEY POINTS 1.) Keep your receipt or TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUR RECEIPT. 2.) Shirt sizes are at least one size smaller than listed. 3.) Check shirt seams. 4.) SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

The lady who helped me was so familiar with fountain pens I thought she could be the owner but I don't think that's the case. Just passionate about the stuff there. Really helpful! Absolutely the sweetest pup! Made the out of the way stop there super homey. Will definitely go back.

They have a fine selection of stationary etc. Nothing to die for, though I would have loved to have picked up a magnifying glass. While I understand theft is probably high on this area, this was just rude behavior. Avoid.

This being said, this is an excellent place to pick up really unique and very good local artistic creations. Whether it's in the form of paintings, drawings, jewelry, sculpture, and a little bit of everything else, if you're looking for some art and you want it to be from New Orleans, this is your place to get it. Located in the French Quarter. This place is a unique business to check out. From the moment you walk in, you are overtaken by all of the colorful beauty that lines the walls and the shelves of this business. It is really a fun place to shop. There's so much stuff! This business has both a front section and a rear section. Both of which are filled with tons of various types of art. The prices here are all very reasonable. It's not like some shops that you go into and you like a piece of art and then you check the price and you're going OMG. That's not the case here. The artwork, the jewelry, and the everything else are what I would consider very reasonable. Overall, if you want a great piece of local art, this is an ideal business to purchase it from.

First stumbled in after Swamp Dog & Friends consolidated to Le Jardin and I was searching for another print to add to our collection in our dining room and ended up discovering more local artists. Prices vary but the quality is there if you opt for a painting or other piece opposed to a print.

Listen to it. https://youtu.be/Fb4jguPLceQ Ok, now that you are done, here are my thoughts on the store, which are similar to the lyrics "Ma Sherie Amour, lovely as a summer day" in that everything here seems to flow with the mood of summer. I came in one late afternoon with a friend from out of town. We were window shopping in the Quarter, she had seen this store the previous day and wanted to come back. I am so glad she brought me in here. Colorful trinkets, cute earrings, and these amazing stringed flying winged creatures. I know that last part sounds weird, and it is odd, but one long string, you attach the appropriate end to the ceiling and let it hang. Spread on the string are various sizes of butterflies, birds, and they are just so lovely. There was home décor, cute sweaters that when you extend your arms while wearing it, it appears that there are wings on your back. I will be back for gifts in the future. Everything is so delicate, I would not recommend bringing in small children with curious fingers.

Was on a trip recently in New Orleans and had the misfortune of coming across this store. Walked in…read moreand it was a cool looking store with a lot of decent art. I was more interested in the Jewelry. I wanted something meaningful to take home from this trip and wanted to invest in a ring. "The Earring Lady" who we now also call Sandra the Crazy Lady was the one to help us. I picked out a ring and she talked it up and let us try them all on. I wasn't looking to invest in anything too pricey at this time but i did find a nice Garnet ring I really liked. Of course after purchasing I find the exact same ring (engravings and all) online for $35. How much did I end up paying for this ring in store? $350. After doing more extensive research everything about this ring just screamed scam. We tried to go back to the store to resolve this issue and just get a refund. I brought my proof that the ring was indeed not real and Sandra was not having it. She said that she had made all of her jewelry when we were in there during the purchase but then changes her story when we came back to make the return. She said her husband "the elf" is the one who made all the rings and rubbed it in our face that since he had passed we can't do anything about this situation. She said I had fallen for an internet scam and that her ring was indeed real. We went about this in the most reasonable and respectful way possible. She basically tried to make me feel dumb and like we were "attacking her." She started to bang on the counter and saying that we were disrespecting her business and was just trying to get us out of the store. I tried to kindley ask for a refund and said I would not leave a review about her fake products and her scamming me. However she did not take this. She tried to tell me she went to the mountains of tennessee and layed out a burlap mat and looked at the stones in the sun herself. Just started saying absolutely crazy nonsense that made no sense trying to get me to believe that the ring was real. Anyway we clearly weren't getting anywhere and she had already started acting erratic so we left. With the ring. And NO solution. Anyway the ring that is supposed sterling silver is turing my finger green. I want to take the stones to get it appraised but I don't think it's worth it because i'm sure they are just resin. Don't make the mistake of buying ANYTHING from this business and being as gullible as me. Sandra I really do hope you feel good about taking advantage of a young woman just wanting to support your business. I was really proud of this purchase and normally do not spend money on my self in this way, now I know not to do it again. Do not waste your time on this business. 0 out of 5 stars. I am extremely disappointed.

A possum themed boutique? In New Orleans? Say less!…read more Okay- so first off, if you're looking for this business on Google, there's photos of a live possum resting in the shop (I think it's dated like 6 years ago). Now, I know this is Yelp, but bear with me. There is NO live possum in store. There. Just level-setting things. (I somehow was really excited for a live possum, but alas....) Okay, BUT the possum items are ADORABLE!!! The best photo ops, and there is so much thought and detail and care. I got a small plush possum- and it even came with food (sprinkles) and a birth certificate, and how to care for it. They also gave me a few extra stickers. SO CUTE!!!
