I did find a graphic novel of a compilation of fairy tales that I did get. If I were not already nervous about coming into a store that is out of my comfort zone, I would have asked the guy working. Inside is very neat and clean and seemed to be well organized. I went on a weekend morning, and it was not busy at all. This seems to be an awesome place that a comic book or graphic novel person could spend all day in and I don't think the management would mind. There is plenty of parking in front, and this store is nestled in a small strip mall.

On the day that we were here, my friend was looking for something specific, and although they didn't have what she was looking for in store, they offered to order it for her. Of course, they have some rare books that you can buy as well as some collectors items. I'm not really into comic books, but the woman working was super friendly and helpful and showed me around a bit and gave me an idea of what they have. The staff from Les (the owner) to everyone working there have always been very friendly and helpful. The store is also very kid friendly with a dedicated and well stocked kid section for all ages! My kids love when I bring them as a treat. Going in on Wednesdays to pick up my comics has become a part of the week that I really look forward to.

Seemed to have a smaller selection of sports cards & toys. The man working behind the counter (owner?) was nice, greeting me as I entered with my 2 kids. He offered assistance but I didn't need any. He continued his conversation with a regular customer about old sci-fi episodes. Eavesdropping on their conversation made me feel right at home. Just like my local comic book store. No more 1e D&D modules or older materials, or anything else for that matter. It used to be a Books-A-Million from the same chain. They have a great selection of used tabletop RPGs that also includes some new products at full retail price. It's a huge store that buys from customers. Getting into and out of the parking lot is difficult because U.S. 190 and service roads are confusing and traffic is chaotic. I use my phone to navigate even short drives in this part of Covington.

When we visited, it was crowded, but there was an event going on outside. Additionally, groups were there to meet and have coffee and chat. They have a coffee bar that appears to be well appointed. The book selection is wonderful. So many James Baldwin titles, including some you don't see regularly. They do online orders, so if you are looking for Baldwin books or books on Black history/social justice, consider buying from this Black owned business instead of Amazon. They also have a beautiful air bnb for rent. As mentioned in other reviews, this is in the Marigny/Bywater neighborhood and can be made part of a full day of activities, including JamNola and Allways Lounge and great restaurants.
