I'm a woman in my early thirties. I started working out more than three years ago and was on a strict diet. I did everything I could to be healthy, but the scale still showed 220 pounds. After almost two years, I managed to lose 30 pounds and was feeling pretty happy. But then, I started to feel stagnant. I lost a few pounds here and there, but that was about it. I was disappointed with myself and felt bad about my self-esteem. So, I decided to look into surgery options. But I must admit, I was scared. I had seen videos on social media and wasn't sure if that was the right decision for me. I looked into other options, including weight loss shots. I had heard about them, but I thought that they weren't for me when they started gaining popularity a few years ago. But now, they seemed like a better option than surgery. I researched the GLP-1 and was pretty sure that I would give them a try. When I was ready, I wanted to a clinic that I could trust and that could help me achieve my weight loss goals. I searched Yelp for "clinics to lose weight" and found some near to me. I read the reviews and, when you look at a place that everyone says is good, you can't help but be skeptical. That's why I like to read the negative reviews too. (I work in customer service, and I know that unhappy customers tend to discredit good places.) I decided to give this clinic a try with Lindsay. That was three months ago, and I still remember how nervous I was that day. But the staff was so nice and professional with me. Lindsay recommended me tirzepatide, and now I'm a completely different person. (I shouldn't tell you my weight, but it's now 159 pounds.) I know I've lost more than 30 pounds in just three months. But let me tell you, this isn't magic. You have to put in a lot of work for yourself. Take care of yourself, go to the gym (but you don't have to live at the gym), drink a lot of water, and eat healthy. (You know just follow the rules) Lindsay and the staff aren't your mom. (We had PPO insurance with my husband's employer but changed to my HMO after he retired.). We originally went with a PCP with Memorial Care since the dermatologist was listed on the Memorial Care site. Well, after that visit, my husband found out that he could not get a referral to his dermatologist from this PCP, and the PCP wanted to perform his dermatology exams in-house. That's not what we wanted; he has been with his dermatologist for a few years and has had skin cancer and lipomas removed by them. They have given him great care. We contacted the dermatologist and found out they're on the Providence Heritage network. That's how we found Dr. Kundula - a local doctor with Providence Heritage group. I set an appointment for my husband, and I had a great conversation with Dr. Kundula. My husband reluctantly went to this appointment after having a previously bad experience with the other PCP. I believe the appointment was at 4 pm. I hadn't heard from my husband until about 6 pm (an hour after Dr. Kundula's office closes). I thought he was upset about another bad experience. Instead, he told me that he's just leaving the office. He and Dr. Kundula were chatting as if they're old friends. Disclosure - my husband is an introvert and shy, so if he stayed to talk to someone new for 2 hours, that says something about Dr. Kundula. I had another doctor assigned as my PCP. Needless to say, Dr. Kundula is now my PCP, and we have our 19-year-old son seeing him as well. He truly is a gem - personable, responsive, and caring. He is proactive and follows through. We couldn't ask for a better doctor!
