The gym and locker room has gotten increasingly dirty. Never clean towels, the shampoos and soap dispensers are always empty. Constantly out of razors, washcloths, q-tips and all the other things they show you when you first take the tour. They shut off the steamroom early and start packing up the gym hours before they close which is super uncomfortable while you are still trying to use equipment. The staff is usually gossiping at the front desk or sitting in the laundry room on their phones. They used to have a great member party every year, but haven't had it the last few years. It really seems like they have funneled all their money into the LA and Nashville location and don't care at all about the original members at their Long Beach Location. I"m finally making the move to Club Studio cause this place has continued to get worse and worse.

    I think it's time that I update my review considering I have been attending classes at Yoga108…read moreregularly for 8 years now. I'm a big fan of this studio. It's on the smaller side with 2 rooms, a heated and a non-heated. They offer vinyasa classes for 60 or 75 minutes, yoga sculpt, yin yoga, and strength & conditioning. Depending on which instructor's class you take, it may be more or less difficult. And trust me, they get difficult! I truly find the staff to be so pleasant, and they always remember me, welcoming me warmly, even when I haven't been for a month or 2. They also offer teacher trainings, community kirtan nights and international yoga retreats. I truly can't say enough about how much I enjoy coming here. The studio is a clean, serene space that immediately makes me feel calm, even when I'm sweating like crazy from the powerful yoga moves. There really is something to be said for practicing yoga in a studio environment, and Yoga108 is a wonderful one.

Customers have difficulty finding out how to contact them. There's a MindBody app & a Momence app but since we haven't been there in awhile we have no idea of how to contact them or thru what app they're using now. Walk-in doesn't help much because maybe the teacher only is that day and not the administration. Teachers don't handle the business part. Once you get in, it's a great studio but there's a lot of work on figuring out how to get thru to admin

It's been awhile since I've consistently visited a gym. I used to be pretty fit back in the day, but different life circumstances held me back from continuing to train they way I like and need. I'm not a 24 Hour Fitness person. Walking into a standard gym, I pretty much just stand there, look around, and think, "Meh. What to do first. *yawn*" I used to want to fight in a ring, but those days are long gone. Instead, I've tried numerous other activities and exercises: aerial arts, fire hoop, pole dancing, cycling, barre, rowing, crossfit, etc. Nothing has really stood out as something I'd want to do long-term. Some of these are also really fun, but don't provide the full-body workout that I desire. I really like Torey's gym. Every day is different and challenging. There's heavy bag work, cardio, weights, circuit training, weird circus ball exercises. Sometimes we're inside and sometimes we're out. It's never boring, and I walk away sore on a weekly basis. I've been coming here regularly for the past three weeks, and I've already dropped weight and seen positive changes in my body shape and endurance levels. More than that, it's an atmosphere that keeps me coming back, and that's one of the most important elements of all. Torey has classes every day (except Sunday), does personal training, will give you a physical assessment upon request, and can even suggest a meal plan if desired. He seems to really care about everyone in his facility, and there are ladies here who have been around for years and years, which is a testament to his dedication and demeanor. The first class is free, so I highly recommend at least trying it out. If you give the gym and Torey a chance, you might fall in love like I have.

In the past few years that I have been with him, I have seen obvious results from our individualized work together. He structured a workout routine for me that combined elements of cardio and strength training. He is constantly pushing me above my limits. He keeps the workouts fun, keeps me motivated and I'm always impressed by his skill end expertise. Cardio Kickboxing classes ~ Doesn't matter your fitness level or age, these classes are fun, challenging and a great way to get in shape! The class targets all the areas, cardio, core, lower and upper body.
