Personality wise, he is a bit reserved but make no mistake, he is a wealth of knowledge. His filing fees have also been fair. One particular anecdote, when we were filing taxes last year (2024), I actually made a mistake in reporting how much estimated taxes I have paid over the year to IRS. Because of this, we miscalculated and were fined $1000 by IRS. Thai was quick enough to give a call to IRS and ask them for a waiver on the penalties since it was our first time, and he was able to get that waived off for us.

My usual tax preparer was not accepting any last minute filings, which I totally understand, so I had to find another option fast. As a client, I think it's reasonable to want to understand my tax situation and ask a few questions before having my return prepared.
