Engine blew 12 plus Months later! Extended 24 mo Warranty never used, but mileage disqualified it from coverage. The instructions I was given from this Finance Company was all a farce. They had no intention of accepting a voluntary surrender as previously approved. Instead, they strung me along for a few weeks then impounded it. Blocked and didn't answer most calls. So much for professionalism and ethical behavior. My assumption is Exeter Finance comfortably practices the Wells-Fargo Chart. You know-the prized, unspoken, subconscience Seven Step Flow Chart of how to: successfully plunge the Finance blade without finger prints. If you aren't familiar with it, Steps One, Four, and Seven begin with the Mantra: We are the Bank and we don't give a *. Do Not conduct business with them. Though it is a personal choice. To Start with;…read more Skopos Financial LLC was like being with a loan shark company. They will approve you but, get ready for harassment! It started when I purchased a brand new car 3 years ago. Every time when my payment was due which by the way was never late. The company patience in waiting for the payment to post was a lack of! They would call me at least three times a day until the payment posted. Like I said was on time EVERY MONTH!! But with out failure I would receive a call like clock work. Sometimes I would receive a call and then no one would address who they were. This was very frustrating for Three long years every single month even on the weekdays. What happened next was very frustrating and very much causing my anger that prompt me to write this review!!! I found out that I could refinance with my company and, I did so as soon as I could to stop the harassing calls because they became very stressful. I refinanced right away and this company called Skopos Financial LLC was paid in full. Now the payment was submitted and we were waiting for the title and pay off papers. I received call from the new lienholders and they explained that they did not receive the title yet? I called Skopos and was then angered by the outcome of their answer. I was told that they could not release the title because I owed $28.00 dollars and it had already been over a month. To my knowledge Skopos had attached an extra day which called interest payments on a loan that was paid off!!!!! I was angered and It took hours to get this resolved. I received the information and paid for this payment. My anger was because for three years of constant harassment every month I repeat again, for three years!!!! and not one call to let me know that they attached an extra day of interest and I REPEAT NOT ONE CALL TO LET ME KNOW THAT THEY DID THIS UNSCRUPULOUS ACT!!! To me this showed me this company has no moral principles when it comes to honest and fair actions towards there full responsibilities to their customers. There was one more thing that just recently happened and I was LIVID!!!! I just receive a refund for my Gap insurance from Skopos Financial LLC (MPP company of which I directed my question to them regarding the fact that the check was not made out to myself but, to made out to Skopos Financial LLC. and sent to me with my signed name and another person from the lienholders office a female. Now anyone knows that know one cashes a three party check. It was made off a wells fargo papers and I even went to them and called my Federal Credit Union it was confirmed that it could not be deposited or cashed. I called and spoke to several representatives of which a few hung up on me. However, I was told from 2 peope in the accounting department to Go to an ACE Checking cashing office and to call them so that can approve the endorsed check that was made out to Skopos Financial LLC. I spoke to the Male representavie and he swore that they do this all the time and he did not understand why I was unable to cash the check. I preceeded to tell them that the check is a three party and typed to the wrong person!!! I was then angered again because the male representative told me that I can send it back and it would take them 60 days to reissue another check. However I told the rep that I will not wait another 60 days due to their mistake!!!!!! This company is harasses and there are no morals or true principles to customers that are loyal!
