I've spent roughly a month and a half on the farm working as a volunteer. The farm is beautiful and the restaurant is super cute. However, I think it's really important to note the quality of the food. (Almost) everything they use in the restaurant comes from the garden. The caramel, the ice creams, the rhubarb lemondage, etc are all made from scratch. Crazy! I helped plant and deweed the garden, so I can personally attest to the fact that no pesticides whatsoever were used and they use a completely sustainable method of agriculture. The staff consists of the family and a couple of friends. Everyone is very kind and passionate about what they do here. The meals are pretty cheap for the amount and the quality of food you get (see picture with menu). The table d'hôte (20$) consists of - A soup (usually different every week depending on what's in the garden, but all delicious) - A salad that comes with a homemade vinaigrette - A "galette" with is a super thin buckwheat crepe with fillings (ham, cheese and spinach | apple, pâté végé, leeks | other options available, but I forgot!) - A dessert: half a homemade waffle or a crepe (I STRONGLY recommend trying crepe with sugar and butter with some lemon. Its to die for!) They have a small boutique where they sell their jams, jellies, confits, cakes, frozen waffles, etc. As well as a couple of products from neighboring farms. After (or before) the meal, you can walk around the farm, see the animals, see the garden and the greenhouse and take some time to unleash your inner child and jump on the trampoline. All in all, it's just wonderful!
