Called this guy about price quote for a concrete backyard. I told him that my wife and I are…read moreminimum wage worker and we are looking for a price estimate to save his time and our time. His response "3000- $30,000. I am not trying to be a smart ass but that is how much it will be. Its like calling a dealership about which car do you want to buy. A Honda can be $5000 or Lamborghini can be $100,000". I said "well I just told you that we are looking for basic concrete and wanted to rough estimate". He went on a tirade about how I can "swoop up a Lamborghini and make it worth $400,000". I think his brain is full of gravel and I doubt there is anything concrete. Save your time from him!

TERRIBLE! Not only did they endanger my daughter, but they did poor quality work and cost me…read morethousands of dollars to have it redone. I contacted Pfingston in early May to get an aggregate addition on my driveway and back patio. They scheduled me for the first week of July. They then pushed back the date several times and finally started digging in early August. A week later they poured the aggregate concrete. Immediately, I could see that it was terrible work. 1.) The aggregate was inconsistent throughout. 2.) It was completely unlevel and wavy throughout each pad. 3.) There were no defined edges and many jagged chunks missing. 4.) When smoothing the edges they pushed down too hard. This caused the whole pad to be a 1/4â lower than my original concrete. 5.) The pre-cut stress lines were curved and crooked. 6.) The edges that touched my house were graded towards my house. The problems donâ t stop there. The next day it rained and I could see where water was pooling up all over my concrete. This will not bode well in the winter. They also did very little clean up. Iâ m still finding chunks of concrete in my yard. I also found a random 2â x3â patch of concrete in the middle of my yard where they dumped their extra concrete. WORST OF ALL: When my daughter climbed into her playset, I noticed that it was wobbling. Upon further inspection, I found that they had hit one of the posts anchoring the play house to the ground. This pulled the anchor from the ground and snapped the post. They failed to tell me about this so that I could fix it. Luckily, I noticed before the leaning playset fell over. The owner gave me alot of excuses for the bad work. He told me if I sealed it that would fix my problems.Unfortunately, 3 other concrete companies told me all they could do was rip it out and pour it correctly. Now, I have to pay double the amount to fix the work Pfingston did. If you value your money, go with a better company and get the work done right the first time.
