Bad Faith Contract Breach and Abandonment of Work…read more ​I hired Everything Exterior & Roofing (EE&R) to handle the primary exterior components of my storm damage claim, including the roof, siding, gutters, downspouts, and fascia. The roof portion was completed and paid for in full on August 19, 2025. ​The remaining primary exterior scope (siding, gutters, downspouts, and fascia) was formalized under a separate contract signed on August 25, 2025. Crucially, during the in-person contract signing, the sales representative was unable to answer my technical questions and instructed me to email them afterwards so they could be forwarded to the appropriate person internally. I submitted these questions on August 27, acting on their instruction. They made no attempt to communicate or discuss these questions. ​Six days later, after receiving full payment for the roof, EE&R unilaterally terminated the siding contract on September 8, 2025. They falsely cited my requested and company-authorized questions as "stipulations" to justify abandoning the less profitable scope of work. ​This was a bad-faith breach, leaving my property with unaddressed storm damage. EE&R has failed to respond to formal attempts to resolve this. Consumers should be aware that this company may abandon work after securing payment for the major component of a larger project. I have filed formal complaints with both the Kentucky Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau regarding this matter.
