It all started by contacting them to get a simple quote their were on time and their price was very competitive. The most impressive part was that Kevin was very patient and extremely knowledgeable about the work that he was quoting and explained step-by-step exactly what he will be doing. After receiving several bids, I went ahead and asked for a quick start and they jumped on the working mediately and finished up in one day! I even had to step out and told Kevin I would be right back and had another contractor show up and Kevin was nice enough to let the contractor know what I needed done since I was not present, this is called going above and beyond! Do not waste your time shopping around, trying to cut corners, go with a credible company that knows what they're doing, experienced and the price was respectful. I am happy! Oh before I forget, after the installation there was a small issue that was a concern, they immediately addressed it and were there right away! I called Alstadt to get an estimate on a gas leak repair. They quoted me $140 an hour . One guy…read morecame to detect the leak and was here an hour , then another guy came to repair the leak and was here for 1.5 hours . That is a total of 2.5 hours . The guy could not find the gas leak and proceeded to tell us that we had old rusty pipes and should just probably replace it , so we set up work to be done on it the next day. I called their office to get an idea of what we owed for the work done thus far , so that we knew what to expect for both days. I was told that we owe $600, and i asked why because nothing was done and he couldn't find the leak and she said $250 was added for helium to find the leak ; which we never agreed to or was even told anything about . I said " well i hate to be rude but apparently the helium didn't work, because he could not find the location of the leak " so basically, we just paid all of that money for nothing . I said that i would like to speak to the owner and she said they would take $175 off the bill which in my opinion i still not enough considering nothing was found or repaired. They then proceeded to tell me that we should part ways which i thought was ridiculous considering i only asked to speak with the owner. Another plumber ( 50 years of service ) came out and looked at everything and said they did absolutely nothing but leave you with a hole in the ground and a big bill. He said i would call over there and talk to Chip . I called and asked for Chip and the lady told me to hang on and went and put another lady on the phone who said that he doesn't want to talk to you and neither does anyone else here and do not call back. This is terrible business practice and i will never in my life do business with them. I will pay double or triple the price to avoid this business

They said if it didn't cost that much then they would refund me the remainder. I was fine with that when the gentleman got here, he told me he stripped the set screw and he was going out to his truck to see if he had one and couldn't find one. He went to the plumbing supply place. He said to get a new one. I assumed it was a new set screw, but it came back with a very plain new kitchen faucet. I thought that's cost over $100 even if they do up the price. He finished the job and later I got a bill for $450. This very plain kitchen faucet cost $195. It is not the out. It doesn't do anything fancy it's just a faucet. I've used this company several times in the past they did good work at an honest price. Apparently their values have changed and they've decided to become a company stay away.

The unprofessionalism I witnessed from this company on this day made me realize that I made a mistake hiring them. I had to call the boss to get this guy to call me and between picking up the help, getting his part of the supplies and his truck breaking down it was 3:29 pm before he finally called me to admit defeat and cancel the day -I did my trip, came back, called to inform him, no answer, texted him that I had returned...Read but no acknowledgement. Nothing -Now I was done with this company. I called the boss 1 hour later and told him so, he said he'd have the guy call me back and the guy did call back immediately. I canceled the job and requested my refund but now the guy is saying it was non-refundable. I called the boss back but now I am blocked -So, here it is: $1500 quote - 15% mil discount ($225) = $1275 CANCELED Price of 10 cinder blocks and 60 lbs. of cement about $40- 50 $500 deposit - $100 estimate fee = $400 They want 10X the price of materials for me canceling due to their unprofessional manner and nowhere in their contract is anything about nonrefundable deposits
