The salesman met us at our home and offered several options. That's when the strangeness began. He never sent us an estimate. When I called the office I was promised a return call, which never came. I went to the showroom to try to speak with someone. He said that they were not sure if they could install windows in our lanai due to Palm Beach permit issues. I informed him that they had installed my neighbor's windows with no problem. He told me that he would get back to me shortly with the estimate. It never came. I called them about a week later and told him that several other companies have installed in our development. His reply was "Why don't you just call them." I was shocked. They strung us along for about 3 weeks. They passed on an over $40,000 job. Suffice to say, we went with another company which was simply terrific. We have a 2-story home with sliding doors and transoms. We chose to have all our windows replaced with storm windows. This is already an expensive task, and after all was said and done, I know our money was well spent. First, Emilio and Tyler C., came to the house and took the time to sit with us and explain the process, they took a look at the entire house, and then we set up a time to meet at their store location to get detailed recommendations and view samples. With absolutely no knowledge going into this process, we didn't feel like we were getting pressured to sign a contract or upsold on things that didn't fit our needs. Even after going back and forth with products, I felt heard and supported by everyone we dealt with. The team at TWP assisted us through the whole approval process with our HOA and took care of any questions that needed to be answered. They were true to their timeline and actually over estimated completion time. The crew from Pahl Construction were all very professional and conscientious about keeping debris and dust to a minimum. At least one person from the management came by the house during installation to check progress and make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The crew either wore shoe covers or simply took their shoes off in our house (which we requested and no one balked!). They communicated the status of our materials and work progress very clearly, and they left each day after cleaning up as much as possible. I have three kids in the house, so this was very much appreciated! I cannot recommend these guys more!! We have had so many compliments on our windows!
