My treatment with Dr. Peyton is wrapping up and I couldn't be more pleased with the results! Dr. Peyton is actually the third orthodontist that I've had treatment with and the 2nd (and last) time I'll need braces. The issue I was experiencing was a posterior open bite (my back teeth didn't touch) -- Dr. Peyton created a very clear treatment plan around what would ultimately require some surgery. Invisalign was used to prepare for surgery, braces for surgery (required), and finally fine tuning after surgery with incredible results. Dr. Peyton & Staff are incredibly friendly and communicate extremely well with their patients which on top of being very good at what they do earns them 5 stars! If you think there is some orthodontic treatment in your future, I highly recommend starting your search here. read more

Greatly improved both my son's and my teeth! I went the Invisalign route and my son had regular braces. Happy with the results.

I read the review about not liking someone due to their skin color. Obviously I wasn't there and I don't know the situation but from my experience as a black woman. I have never been treated any other way but with kindness, care and honestly like family. I had braces way back in my teenage years and honestly they made a payment plan with my mom so I could have something that bothered me more than anything. To straighten my teeth. Many many many. Did I say many lol years later I needed more straightening. I wasn't loyal to my retainer and my daughter needed braces also. I could only think of Des Moines Orthodontist. I knew the treatment my daughter would get and the results. They are also a drive as we live in Gig Harbor. Again, I'm not trying to argue with what you experienced but maybe it was something else or simply a misunderstanding. read more

Originally in 2019 when we first saw this dr. He examined my son's teeth and advised of different treatment plans that could be offered. We were unable to come back with our decision due to the pandemic. I recently made an appointment for both of my sons to be seen. I made the appointment for 3:30 and arrived at 3:38. When I arrived the office Manager Ella was waiting for me at the front desk and stated I was late and I was told to be there at 3:20 for the appointment and that I will need to re schedule. I asked can't one of my sons be seen? she advised no, You need to reschedule because it's important you are on time. okay, I get it, but you were going to see two patients so why can't one of them be seen. The office never called or sent reminder to advise to be there at 3:20 and I was never told to arrive at 3:20. my appointment was at 3:30 and the receptionist never told me to be there at 3:20. Not to mention the receptionist gave me the paperwork to fill out and bring with me. the office Manager Ella was very rude when speaking me and my sons. We felt we were treated poorly because we are black people . From what I can see they are located in a predominantly caucasian neighborhood and it did not appear to be any patients of color nor is there staff at their office of color. The office manager did me a huge favor by being exceptionally rude and for me to take business elsewhere. read more

Dr. Peyton was beyond great. I had my braces on for 3 years and everyone at the office always greeted me with a smile. Prior to getting them Dr. Peyton explained exactly what he wanted to have done and my options. Towards the end I was getting anxious to get them off and always asked when I would be getting them off his answer was always the same "when they're perfect." I could not have asked for a better Orthodontist. My teeth look amazing and I will miss going into that office. The ladies there are so friendly and anyone who asks me about my smile i'm always happy to tell them about my amazing orthodontist. read more

Recently had braces place on my teeth by Dr. Peyton. I felt he spent a lot of time patiently answering every one of my endless questions about adult orthodontics. His dental assistants seem very competent and gentle. All in all, a wonderful experience.....although I suspected it would be since I had him do both my childrens' teeth first. Clean, tidy office and friendly staff willing to explain everything. read more

This business consistently has 5 stars for a reason!!! Minimally invasive, the staff are all very friendly, genuine, and helpful, and they make you feel like you're at home having your family work on your teeth. I have never had anything besides regular dental visits and healthy teeth before I decided to try braces. I was scared to do orthodontics, but Dr. Peyton & his staff have made it a virtually painless, PLEASANT experience, minimal discomfort and noticeable results. I love my teeth already and I'm not even done with braces yet! Best 'medical' experience ever, and highly recommend this office for children or teens who are weary of braces! read more

I have had my braces for a little over a year and so far my experience here has been top-notch. They really get everything right. Dr. Peyton always takes takes the time to discuss what will be done as well as the pros and cons of each decision. Outside of my braces I have a few other dental complications and Dr. Peyton and his staff have been fantastic in helping me work around these issues. The entire team is very, very nice. I really appreciate them. When I had a non-orthodontic dental emergency over a holiday weekend, they were available and supportive by phone. They also offer payment plans which makes the expense more manageable. I would give Des Moines Orthodontics the highest possible recommendation. read more

I had an exceptional experience at this office. Dr. Peyton and his staff went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. They accommodated my crazy schedule, even staying late if that was what was needed. They know the names of all of their patients, and really make you feel like part of their family. They also worked out a great payment plan with me. I cannot say enough good things about this great office. I have sent no less than 7 of my friends for treatment, and all have been very happy. I am nearly 50 years old, and finally have a smile I am proud of!! Thanks much!!! read more

I was a client of Dr. Peyton and his friendly staff for 10 years... over 10 years ago! I had braces from the age of 8 to 17, and now at nearly 29 I still have the perfect smile. I am complimented all the time on my straight teeth, and I owe it all to this fantastic team. My adult teeth came in very crooked and I had two oral surgeries to correct this, on top of braces, a palate expander, headgear, permanent and non-permanent retainers, etc. I haven't received orthodontic treatment since I was 18 or so, but the work that was done has had long-lasting positive results. I am incredibly grateful that my parents took me here as a child. I didn't realize it when I was younger, but I am so thankful now. I was probably an awful client who didn't wear my headgear and hardly wore my retainer, but my teeth still look amazing - all thanks to these people and their dedication. I hated going to my dentist, but enjoyed my monthly ortho visits. Can't recommend this place enough! read more
