My dog was perfectly fine when I dropped her off but died a week after being picked up from this horrible place. No one should ever use this facility if you care anything about your pet. These people should not even be in the business of boarding animals because they don't care about your pets.

It is problematic when the vet does NOT record information from the visit in the notes which would have allowed for medication called for by the condition. Since s/he failed to do so it resulted in me having to bring my pet BACK to the hospital for another costly visit - which I refuse to do. If these are the practices that are becoming commonplace then I'll find another care clinic. I'm not bringing my animal back to them - I'm sure I can find better care elsewhere that perhaps is not as costly as this clinic. Besides, their arrogance is unbecoming.

They all seemed happy and well when we returned. I must say I was half afraid to walk in the door as the last sitter left the litter, etc. all to be cleaned up the last day. Our home smelled all the way from the front door to the back door. We walked into a clean kitchen...no smelly mess...obviously things had been done systematically. What a relief! We will use Karen again. While she may fuss at you if things aren't up to her standards with your critters....she obviously loves pets...and that is what matters. Thanks! Good job.

Karen is very professional and provided a quotation and contract up front, and she maintains communication well. We'll use her again.

Although a long-time Raleigh resident and dog owner, until May, 2023 I had never used a pet sitter,…read moreand it took me a considerable amount of time, online research, and several extensive interviews before I was fortunate to find Lynn's Compassionate Pet Care. And while my pet care needs were not for the typical reason of vacation travel, but rather due to my surgical procedure and post-op recovery at home, my experience offers an especially accurate assessment of this professional's level of expertise, since I was present during all of her visits! Moreover, having two adult Salukis not at ease with unknown humans and requiring considerably more daily exercise than the average family pet, I had ruled out several perspective pet-sitting companies before interviewing Lynn, who was the only candidate who understood that if a sighthound manages to get loose, chances are slim that it will survive automobile traffic, due to its athletic speed and desire to chase small wildlife. Her rapport with my two aloof girls was miraculous, and there was never any doubt that they were safe in her care. It is no exaggeration to say that I would have cancelled my surgery if not for Lynn's Compassionate Care!

My little beagle girl loves her whether boarding or grooming and that says a lot! Boarding: the rates are so reasonable and Belinda is so wonderful at taking care of the babies! And there is a severe weather plan in place to take care of the critters in her care. I was told years ago, the kennel was built with that in mind and it is taken seriously! Grooming: I have always had beagles so don't require complicated cuts, but I've seen pictures of gorgeous jobs she's done. What I can say from experience is they always look great and are always happy. Everything from boarding to grooming is done with such a high quality of care, attention and love at extremely reasonable prices, I can't imagine why anyone would go anywhere else...

I had one instance last year, where my dog was previously on a certain combination of medicines with his food. I brought him this time, and there was one deletion from the regimen, and a change. I had forgotten about the med we deleted and so only described current meds. About 10 minutes after I left, Regine actually called me on my cell to check about the med we deleted! She remembered what he got before and was concerned I had just forgotten to bring it and wanted to catch me before I left town. How many kennels can you say you trust to have that kind of care and attention??!! The facility is very clean, and she is making improvements all the time. She is VERY caring and obviously loves animals so much. My dogs are happy to go there, time after time, and I think that says it all! The grooming: I've taken my cat and dogs and they do a good job. But when I picked them up, there was still some loose hair, and the nails were a little long. For boarding, I won't go anywhere else. Regine has my undying loyalty and she deserves it.
