The Petz Carlton is by far the best place to board your fur baby in Huntsville/Madison area in Alabama. My puppy LOVES the owners and always enjoys his stays. He's treated like one of their own pack, getting to cuddle on the couch watching movies, running around the backyard and spending warm days jumping in and out of the doggie swimming pool, and when's not running around their house, he's playing with other pups in their doggie-dedicated playroom! He comes home even happier than when he left. I never have a worry when my pup is at the Petz Carlton. They update me with multiple daily pics of him (on Facebook) having the time of his life with their pack and fur baby visitors. The best part is their pricing is incredibly fair and much lower than boarding in a kennel. Your dog will be in a real home, with real people and other dog friends, instead of sitting alone in a kennel being visited only a couple times a day. My dog is so worn out every time I pick her up from Melissa, she just sleeps in the car on the way home and sleeps the rest of the night because she had so much fun running and playing with all the other dogs. Melissa posts pictures and updates on FB so if I ever miss her I can just pop on FB and see a picture of her having a blast! I've boarded my Girlie (rat terrier/Chihuahua mix) with Shannan and her family at The Willows location a few times, and would recommend them to anyone with a small dog. The fact that The Willows specializes in small/med dogs really makes them the perfect petsitter for me. Their little chihuahua Lucy is a perfect playmate. Girlie can't wait to get out of the car when we arrive at their house and immediately runs in looking for Lucy. Shannan takes the time to go over any special needs (or unique quirks) that your dog may have. I am so thrilled that I found Petz Carlton! I have never left my dog with anyone other than a family member, so I was quite nervous to leave her for two nights. I was really concerned about leaving my dogs, particularly one that has fear issues, but Melissa and Mike are absolutely fantastic! They truly understand dog behavior and my pups have such a great time. The Petz Carlton is the best! I have used both Petz Carlton Main and Lanier Lakes, and they both take such great care of my Jake (and my foster dogs when I have one)!
