My little beagle girl loves her whether boarding or grooming and that says a lot! Boarding: the rates are so reasonable and Belinda is so wonderful at taking care of the babies! And there is a severe weather plan in place to take care of the critters in her care. I was told years ago, the kennel was built with that in mind and it is taken seriously! Grooming: I have always had beagles so don't require complicated cuts, but I've seen pictures of gorgeous jobs she's done. What I can say from experience is they always look great and are always happy. Everything from boarding to grooming is done with such a high quality of care, attention and love at extremely reasonable prices, I can't imagine why anyone would go anywhere else...

I had one instance last year, where my dog was previously on a certain combination of medicines with his food. I brought him this time, and there was one deletion from the regimen, and a change. I had forgotten about the med we deleted and so only described current meds. About 10 minutes after I left, Regine actually called me on my cell to check about the med we deleted! She remembered what he got before and was concerned I had just forgotten to bring it and wanted to catch me before I left town. How many kennels can you say you trust to have that kind of care and attention??!! The facility is very clean, and she is making improvements all the time. She is VERY caring and obviously loves animals so much. My dogs are happy to go there, time after time, and I think that says it all! The grooming: I've taken my cat and dogs and they do a good job. But when I picked them up, there was still some loose hair, and the nails were a little long. For boarding, I won't go anywhere else. Regine has my undying loyalty and she deserves it.

I would not in a million years take my pets here…read more I rescued a sweet dog (advertised by Maggie as The Long Way Home online) in June 2024. When I went to pick the dog up (at the boarding facility) she smelled as if she'd been kept in her own mess in an outdoor kennel. There is nothing "premium" about these facilities. It became very obvious after I took her to the vet that I wasn't told the truth about her age, medical conditions, potty and harness training ability. When I called to ask questions, Maggie got upset, claimed the dog was "perfect", tried to bully me into returning the dog, and has since refused to allow the dog's chip to be registered in my name, although that's standard procedure for reputable rescue organizations and is in the adoption contract. Do yourself and your pets a favor and avoid this business.

I medicated the next time and the groomer canceled last minute while I was on the way. My dog has been groomed by several other groomers since and they all had a great experience with my dog. Clearly the groomer was rushing and did not make my dog feel comfortable. I will not have her groomed here again. BOARDING: When the women came out to get my dog during drop off, my dog was anxious and did not want to go inside with them--big red flag. I always chose the In-home Stay boarding service since my dog has separation anxiety. For a recent out of town trip, I booked that service as usual. K9 made no attempt to tell me that the In-Home Stay was not available due to renovations and I was not informed until I arrived that morning. I called to get an update on my dog later that day and I was told she was very uncomfortable and scared. The next day I called all day long and NO ONE picked up the phone. I also left voicemails that were not returned. The next day, I got an update that my dog was doing great but I didn't believe that. I will never board her again after this experience. I have not tried the daycare.

They all seemed happy and well when we returned. I must say I was half afraid to walk in the door as the last sitter left the litter, etc. all to be cleaned up the last day. Our home smelled all the way from the front door to the back door. We walked into a clean kitchen...no smelly mess...obviously things had been done systematically. What a relief! We will use Karen again. While she may fuss at you if things aren't up to her standards with your critters....she obviously loves pets...and that is what matters. Thanks! Good job.
