This place is beyond wonderful! A friend and I were talking about where we board our dogs. I was boarding our 95lb black lab at our local vet. My friend told me about Pet Parlor and I was amazed to find their per day prices were almost half of my vet. My vet is only opened Monday thru Friday And Pet Parlor is also open till noon on Saturday. These were the reasons I started using them as my Jacks boarding spot. We haven't left him there since Thanksgiving and yesterday the owner called. "We were all talking about Jack and since he's not been in for awhile, we were concerned." It put joy in my heart that they were checking in on my 4 legged 'son'! These folks have a love for their 4 legged 'customers' and their owners! It's a great business with caring and a loving staff.! Jack's tail is wagging non-stop when I pull up to Pet Parlor as he's happy every time he's there for either Doggy Daycare or overnight stays! You and your pet won't be disappointed! read more

I'm very happy with this spot! First of all they were able to get my dog in for a grooming appointment the next day. The lady I spoke with on the phone and when I arrived at the front desk was very friendly and made sure to get all of the details for Peppers grooming. The groomer, Delaney, did exactly what I requested. She did a really good job! Drop off is 7am - 10am. Pepper was ready around 12pm. Price for a small dog was 70$. My doggie is 11 years old and has never been boarded. I trusted this place after her first grooming day there. Wonderful work and the staff truly love doggies. I was apprehensive at leaving Bijou, brought her food and bedding and Kathy took over as the temporary mom. Plus she was groomed while there. And they did the best grooming job since I've moved to Huntsville out of all the other places I tried. So it was a happy ending and relieved my stress over leaving my little doggie. My husband thinks I should leave 1 or even 0 stars if we could. We took our poodle mix to Pet Pawlor and this was her 2nd time. The 1st time they did an okay job so we thought we'd go and try again. We said multiple times all she needed was a shape up. So her paws, face, and butt needed a trim but since it had been so cold we wanted her to stay as fluffy as we could. When they called to let us know she was ready, they told us "there had been a mix up with another dog" and she had gotten a full groom. I said "so y'all shaved her?" The response was "he is still cute and still has some fur." Thankfully they didn't charge us, but we would've refused to pay even if they had tried. Very disappointing and will not be going back. They also kept referring to her as a HE and mispronouncing her name even after being corrected multiple times. Seems very careless. If this had been a vet or some other establishment where she had been "mixed up" could've been detrimental. They also never wore a mask which was extremely concerning giving the current pandemic. Overall, would not recommend and our dog has even been acting off since she was there.. read more

I took my new dog to get groomed. They did a great job. Definitely going back. Rhonda treated my dog Tizmo like her own!

We've used them several times. I've generally been satisfied. The last time I took my dog in they had raised their prices 24% and my dog came home with a bunch of hair on him. So I'm no longer satisfied and I think there are much better options for the money now. read more

My husband and I have 3 dogs that we've taken twice to Pet Parlor. Upon the 2nd visit I asked if they could cut my Husky a little shorter than the 1st visit. They agreed, but when we picked him up only his legs had been trimmed for a cost of $65. When we asked if they would cut the rest of his body as requested, and every other groomer we've ever visited does, they responded yes, but for a price of $90-$100. Very poor service and highly unsatisfied. I wouldn't recommend this parlor to anyone one of my friends. read more

I had a poor experience with a groomer last year, so I was very particular in my instructions to the groomer. She listened, asked questions and made suggestions. I had been told they might be more expensive than I was used to, but they weren't. And my dog came out so very pretty. They take really good care of their clients and do a great job. Great service and dog care. Very friendly staff and efficient service. The location is the odd part. The business is located in the basement portion of someone's home. There is a small parking lot when you pull in and all the kennels are located on the side of the lot. The kennels are of good quality and there are two large yards for dogs to play. The entrance to the business is on the right side of the house on the bottom floor. There was no clear sign as to where the front door was so I went to the houses front door. After a few knocks and bell rings, a man answered the door and gruffly directed me down to the entrance. I felt badly and embarrassed. A nice clear sign as to where the entrance is would be helpful. The man seemed as if he had customers knocking often. Other than that, my yorkie came out with a beautiful cut and her ears smelled of baby powder. Great care and service. read more

Seems they have been infected with kennel cough! A few clients have obtained it from this facility over the past month! They staff was informed so they can use the proper cleaning to insure it doesn't spread and they became combative and disrespectful! Hope they get the issue resolved and gain some customer service skills. read more

We have been taking our dog BLAZE to Pet Pawlor for three years now. We know our dog LOVES to be here because he always jumps out when we get there, so excited to meet his dog buddies in the play yard. He does this every time, so I am always reassured when we drop him off. This place is special; the staff genuinely love the dogs as I think by the second stay they knew his name, remembered his collar color and other unique details about our boy. These small touches also make it so nice to leave our dog. They make it easy, and can accommodate last minute / short notice plans. We love the staff and environment of the Pet Pawlor! read more

The Staff is very Friendly, and my Pets took to them well. First time there, the Griomer was very particular on how I wanted the doggy Doo's done. I had a horrible experience with them grooming my dogs!!!! We dropped them off at 730 am and told them to call us ASAP.. waited around all day to hear from them and finally I called after 3 two times and never answered the phone so I drove up there to see 2 employees out smoking... could that be why they did not answer? I don't know! I went inside and asked if my dogs were ready and one of them was. I said I would take him home and come back when other dog is ready. They brought out my golden doodle and my chin hit the floor!!!!!! He was SHAVED with this horrible feather like tail!!!!!!!!! He looks absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!! We told them to shave to springer and a short cut on doodle, NOT SHAVE him!!!!!!!!! So in the meantime they have not started on the springer mind you he had been there for 8 hours! When I took the doodle home they said 15-20 minutes for the other dog to be done, I waited and waited and finally after an HOUR I CALLED to see if he was done... finally he was done and that was after 430!!!!!!! Absolute HORRIBLE experience all around and paid $160+tip for my one dog to look like hell! And my other dogs nails to still be long! read more

Hello, We had to go out of town rather quickly so we had no choice but to board our German Shepherd. He is 18 months old and had never been boarded before. I read the reviews from this business and it had some good and some bad. We took a chance and boarded him, as we were told the owner absolutely loved German Shepherds. Well, I called and checked on my dog daily and we were told he was ok. But he kept rubbing his nose on the fence. I asked if he was being aggressive or what, and they told me no he was just rubbing his nose back and forth on the fence.We went to pick him up and he smelled absolutely awful!! We couldn't even let him in the house he smelled so bad. We bathed him immediately!! Also.. his poor nose was more than just rubbed.. it was scabbed over on the whole top of his nose with dry blood in spots. His snout was swollen and it looked horrible!! The staff loved their little dogs but its not a place for big dogs. My dog was so stressed out he didnt even recognize us until we had gotten right up in his face and then it was like he snapped out of a trance. It truly was a pitiful sight for our baby and a horrible first time experience. read more
