I made the mistake of hiring this company to do some tree work at my home. My biggest mistakes were not getting our agreement in writing and paying for the service before it was completed. Our agreement was: 1) to cut a large limb out of a tree hanging over my house, 2) to cut all dead limbs out of all trees in my yard, 3) to trim trees to a height that was higher than my travel trailer that I wanted to pull through my yard, 4) to cut a notch in a tree that was growing up against the roof of my house, and 5) to cut all the wood from 1-3 into firewood. I estimated at the time that it would probably add up to over a cord of wood. Mr. Petty agreed. They did cut the large limb over my house. However, that is the only one of the five things we agreed to that they did. When they left, they said they would be back to finish. They never came back, despite many calls from me. My first piece of advice for anyone thinking about doing business with them is, "Don't do it."
