I didn't order food (next time, then?) but we ran the gamut of drinks and hookah for a few hours and it reminded me that I actually need to book a flight to Addis or Bahir... But I digress. It's a small, cozy spot but even if it was packed I wouldn't call it crowded. And the muzikaaa.. Perfect playlist--some afrobeat, some traditional /national Ethiopian.. All love for my tastes. The vibe leaned more mature, with mostly people in their late 30s, 40s, and 50s, which made for a relaxed, enjoyable evening. I was given a start date, only to later find out that the establishment was actually closed that day. No one from management informed me. I had to go out of my way to contact another owner whose number I found on Instagram just to be told the place was closed. Situations like this show a serious lack of organization and respect for people's time. If management cannot properly communicate something as basic as whether the business is open, it raises concerns about how the establishment is run overall. I also noticed that most of the reviews here appear to be from several years ago, which makes me question whether the current experience reflects what customers can expect today.
