When I take my car in for routine maintenance, I never feel like they are trying to take advantage of me to get extra work done that I've seen in the past with other dealers. They are honest, and I trust that when they tell me I need something done, I do. I took my vehicle in for a recall update (which they reached out on to schedule) and they found a slow leak in one of my tires and repaired it without charge. They put me and my family in an unsafe situation and upon returning the car to 'make it right' they only allowed a trade. Then tried to not even cover my loan or give me the $10,000 I put down on the car (only got the loan covered). I am still out money and I only had this car for 3 months-used with 16,000 mi. A noise started and it should have still been under manufacturers warranty, but upon the dealership look over to find and fix the problem, more problems appeared and ultimately deemed unsafe to drive. Things you wouldn't have just noticed with a naked eye if you don't know a lot about mechanics, things that were never noted on the Carfax, things that this dealership said they checked-which they obviously didn't. This car had a complete engine replaced and a lot of things were not correctly replaced or where they should be or connected at all...upon further investigation I found information on the carfax that wasn't there 3 months earlier - long block- you bet your ass I wouldn't have bought this car if I knew that, Ford will not cover this shotty work which was also done at a ford dealership! But to top it off, I truly believe this dealership, Randy Curnow knew some of these things when they sold me the car. I know I had it for 3 months, but if something had happened to me or my family in this car, you would have been paying a whole lot more! I am disgusted, I am disappointed, and you put me in a financial rut and I also was without a car for nearly two weeks trying to figure all of this out. But I can tell you this, if this was your family, you would not be okay with this outcome either. There is way more to this whole situation, but this is a little jist of the story. Randy Curnow swore Pettijohn Ford was going to fix it and have it covered by warranty even though another Ford dealer wouldn't and it had been noted in the ford database of the issues and that warranty would not cover it... check the Carfax people, and even call ford, because I promise you this car was not fixed! DO NOT BUY THE 2024 FORD EXPLORER THEY CURRENTLY HAVE FOR SALE AT THIS DEALERSHIP. VIN 1FMSK8DHXRGA03540-THEY DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING TO FIX THE PROBLEMS ACCORDING TO THE CURRENT CARFAX AND FORD. When I saw their prices, I honestly thought they were going to mark up the online price like the others do, until the price was thousands over what the website actually states. Woody's does not have fake add on's that they try making you purchase. They offer additional coverage but do not push it on you or make you feel like you have to purchase it. They are truly selling cars honestly!! From the time I started asking questions about two vehicles I was comparing until the time I purchased, Kyler was the most pleasant person I have ever worked with!! He answered all the questions I had, was patient with my lack of trust (due to other dealerships), and listened to my wants and needs in a vehicle. When I came in for my appointment to test drive the two vehicles, he did not try swaying me one way or the other in my purchase. He was knowledgeable about the features and capabilities of the vehicles and how they affected my needs. In fact, he pointed out features in both that would match what I was looking for. He does not match the stereotype of a car salesman!! Lol. He is a wonderful honest midwestern guy!! Jeff, in finance, was amazing!! He explained every single paper I was signing. He made sure I understood everything. He even explained when and what I needed to do with insuring and licensing after purchase. He even stayed late so I could complete everything that night. I was having a hard time finding a ride (I live an hour away) so I could drive my vehicle home, and they offered to deliver it for me free of charge!! The gentlemen who delivered it were so kind as to do it the same night as my purchase, and had it in my driveway at 7:30 that night! I am still so thankful for this!! I am forever thankful I found this dealership and will continue recommending them to everyone I meet! I am not just Wowed, I am Flabbergasted! Being a suburbanite, I toured the mega dealers here in KC Three, in fact, in different parts of town. Typical car sales people irritate me with the little games they want to play. So when I visited the dealerships looking for my choice of cars, I ran into the "jump-thru-hoops" attitude. I am very transparent when I get irritated, and can't hide it well. One salesman asked me what did I need with the upscale model, I didn't need the more powerful motor. That ended that visit. Another tried to talk me into a different color, because he had one on the lot and wanted to move it...but not discount it. When I called Robert at Cupp's, he was the only one who offered to do some computer searching, to see if he could find exactly what I wanted. In less than one day, he phoned back to say that he was unable to find my car, in the midwest, as I wanted it; but had taken my notes and figured the price to order it from the factory. It was less than what the city salesmen wanted for an alternate car, and I didn't have to play games to navigate through this deal. Within three weeks my car was delivered, exactly as I wanted. This historic dealership is visibly vintage, but holds a lot of character. Recently this site was in threat of being closed by GM, during its restructuring, but was saved, due in part, from an outpouring of support directly to GM ,by local residents and businesses. That should tell you something, when folks will go to bat for their car dealer.

Upon opening my vehicle door there was dirt all over the floor board and the side carpet. My door had grease and oil on the door pull device. My center console arm rest had salt stains from someone's arm . You could visually see the arm impression. Went in with a full tank of gas came out with three quarts of a tank. So if you're looking for place to treat you like a paying customer. This isn't it never going back again. Oil changes are cheaper at Walmart. Took my vehicle to Hortons auto the following week identified the problem immediately . Had it fixed before the end of the day. I didn't have to call them once. They called to tell me what the problem was how much it would cost. Called to tell me when it was finished. Totally satisfied with their professionalism . If you do take your vehicle to ford take a photo of your odometer and gas gauge. Better yet get a vehicle gps tracker before leaving it overnight. There are better places to get your vehicle worked on than this place. Trying to get hold of anyone in their service department should have been my first clue.
