We came to Hamiliton Crossing. The other clinic only gave her some anti nausea and hydration. Hamilton Crossing ran all the tests. Her blood work showed she had an infection so we treated that. By this time had no appetite and I was syringe feeding her high calorie supplements. We went back 10 days later because she wasn't getting better. We were prepared to say our goodbyes. We did talk about a hail mary, giving her stronger antibiotics and steroids. Trying to reset her immune system. Unfortunately our baby was too far gone and we had to take her in the following Monday to say goodbye. The staff was so caring during all of this. We will miss our baby.

There is a large outdoor play area, indoor space and a small dog area. The check-in is easy, especially if you download the app first. The staff is great and there's a "ruff-eree" that walks around to maintain order and helps keep the play area clean. There are poo bags stationed liberally around the facility so picking up after your dog is easy. We had fun interacting with the other clients and their dogs. Usually there is a food vendor onsite but were between vendors when I went. I was able to carry in whatever wanted and was told DoorDash was OK, too. I didn't have a chance to check out the bar, which is a pay by ounce but several of my guests did and commented on the variety offered. There are many picnic tables and chairs for humans to gather and a mix of natural and artificial turf for the dogs to play. My friends and I have talked about going back, despite the distance for some of us. It's worth the drive. This is a great day out for dog people-fun for your dog and a chill vibe for dog parents.

I'm so happy I decided to check it out today for the first time to experience "Puppy Yoga." The event featured adoptable puppies through Far Fetched a foster based rescue in Indianapolis. "Trinket," a three-legged Greyhound stole the show! She even found a mat of her own to lounge on. Yoga was facilitated by Amanda Denny Meyer of Within You Without You--although most of us cuddled with the puppies rather than posing in downward facing dog. I'm looking forward to returning to Crate Escapes for other fun events in the future! It's a great place for adults and dogs to socialize. So much more than just a dog park. It's a really unique opportunity just to hang out in this space with dogs everywhere and the option to have food and drinks with other dog lovers. Please consider adopting before you shop around or seek out a breeder. There are so many amazing rescue dogs who need a good home. Also spay and neuter your pets please and thank you!!

We brought our six-month-old rescue to be neutered yesterday. During the visit, my daughter was…read morepersuaded to consent to an additional procedure, a gastropexy, to prevent bloat. Unfortunately, following the surgery, our dog developed a twisted stomach and an obstruction (bloat), requiring emergency surgery. The clinic then demanded $6,000 for the procedure. Our dog, Ace, was in critical condition and would not survive without immediate surgery. Despite the reassurances from the doctor and staff about their competency, Ace tragically passed away during the surgery. Coyne Vet's senior management explained that their staff had received training, but their response has been dismissive, with comments like "don't blame yourself." To be clear, we do not blame ourselves--we hold the surgical capabilities of their staff veterinarian responsible.

I have zero doubts in my mind that my dogs were not only well cared for but genuinely loved. Sadly, Rosie passed away Thanksgiving of 2024 and Millie recently passed Christmas of 2025. As you enter their facility, there are always cameras where you can check out what your furry friend is doing. When we pick up Siggy he comes home ready to relax.
