Boarded my cat while up in St. Augustine. They sent me pictures every day as requested. Friendly staff very satisfied.

I've always really liked PetSuites and have had positive experiences here, which is why I was so disappointed with the phone call I had today with Madeline and Jasmine. Both of my dogs have been sick for the past six days after staying there, so I called simply to ask if there had been any recent cases of kennel cough or respiratory illness and to make them aware of what was going on. I was told they hadn't had any cases within the past year, which is completely fine. I explained that I still wanted to let them know that both of my dogs are currently sick in case they wanted to document it or be aware that there may now be a case. Instead of showing any concern, the response I received felt extremely dismissive, and there was laughing on the phone while I was trying to explain the situation. I wasn't calling to accuse PetSuites of causing anything. I was simply a concerned pet owner trying to get information and make them aware that two dogs who recently stayed at their facility are now sick. The way Madeline and Jasmine handled the conversation made me feel like my concerns were being laughed at rather than taken seriously. I genuinely love this facility, which makes this interaction even more disappointing. I would expect much more professionalism, kindness, and concern when a customer calls worried about the health of their pets. **in response to your reply: I appreciate the response, but if reports like mine aren't even being documented, I'm not sure how you can accurately say no dogs have been sick in the past year. No questions were asked when I called, so I know my dogs' illness wasn't recorded. I really think staff should be trained to take these calls more seriously and document them. Thanks. read more

I took my dog to be groomed. Met the groomer, Sue, and told her about Emma's background. I was very specific about some issues and Sue was very reassuring about what would take place. When I picked Emma up I wanted a couple tweaks to her haircut, no problem. I will say that this is the best grooming hair cut and trim we have gotten since we've had this dog, going on three years. Sue seems outstanding to me and I highly recommend her and the staff at Petsuites. read more

My dogs have boarded here many times and we are always pleased with their stay. We like the "Paw-gress" report that each dog receives regarding their temperament and eating habits during their stay. Reservations can be made online, and an estimate of the stay can also be seen. Boarding can be customized, with extras such as playtimes, grooming, and elite suites with beds and tvs. This week my dogs stayed and for an extra $5 each, they received a waffle and a photo of them eating it for National Waffle Day. This was really sweet, and we enjoyed seeing this while on our vacation. Employees are very nice and welcoming, and seem to enjoy working with animals. We have boarded our dogs at other places, and they did not seem to look forward to their stays at all. They are always happy to return to PetSuites! read more

I have been taking my Golden there three times a week for the last 18 months and have been satisfied with the way ALL the staff treats my girl. She adores everyone there, and I have always felt that she is in excellent care. I wish they had as big of a pool as my place up north, but she is very happy and healthy, and without hesitation, I trust everyone there. Anytime there is a question, the manager Caroline, and all of the staff, are attentive and respectful. I feel all the staff is well trained and loves their job, and as a side note, I like that my dog always comes home clean, and of course happy- as I mentioned before. I see all the staff three times a week in the am and pm, and I too, am always greeted with attemtion, and a smile, and I am always happy to see everyone there too. read more

This place is managed/owned by Scammers. I wish there was an option to leave zero-stars This is the second time boarding my dog in this place. They advertised as a very friend facility, but I hesitated about it after the first time I dropped my dog. There are several dogs not wanting to stay - They are shacking scared and dragged in as they were panicking about staying there. My dog didn't want me to leave and peed when I picked her up scared wanting to leave this facility - But this is just half of the worst part. They have a very fake advertising. They asked me if I was ok with them feeding my dog with their food, when I was asked, they did not tell me there was a $36 fee for Purina dog food...yes, Purina which is the cheapest crappy food. Plus, they charged me $5 extra per day due to Memorial day ($5 each since Thursday 6/22 through 6/28 without letting me know before making the reservation and even worst, when dropping her off). In addition to this, they called to let me know that my dog was not enjoying the group play time and they recommended individual play time, which I agreed, but they never mentioned the $22 dollars extra per day. When I asked for a Manager, they told me they did not have a Manager nor a Supervisor onsite. This is the worst place I have ever boarded my dog in terms of care, costs, communication and noticing dogs not-wanting-to-stay. I will never board my dog in this place and I would suggest you to keep your fur-kids away from this concentration camp. Pay attention to your dog behavior when dropping them off and when you pick them up. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I have been taking my dog here for nine months and it pains me to write this review. Let me preface by saying I have a 70 lb Saint Bernard/Poodle mix puppy. He's a big dog and still growing. He is nine months old and is losing his puppy coat. Even thou we brush him its inevitable for him to get mats when he loses his coat. We called a few weeks ago and told Petsuites he was matting and we wanted him to be buzzed. The girl who made our appointment knew our dog, said how much she loved him, she knew he was 70 lbs, she knew he was matting and we needed to get him shaved as soon as possible to prevent him from getting hot spots. The soonest she could get him in was today 8/21, it was a few weeks but we know how hard it is to get groomers right now. Fast forward to today my wife takes Bruno in and the groomer Dawn refuses to take him. She said that he is more than she can handle as a new groomer. We understand this and appreciate her willingness to know her limits so she reschedules him with a groomer who is capable of grooming a large dog but we have to wait more than two more weeks. My wife had to get to work so she asked if she could leave him there until I could pick him up in 45 minutes after I dropped my kids off at school. I arrived and told them my frustration because we waited weeks for this appointment, they knew the situation but Petsuites booked us with someone incapable of doing the appointment. If they would have been honest a few weeks ago I could have taken him somewhere else. I don't think its unreasonable to fit him in sooner since they made the mistake in scheduling. Dawn was hysterical, there was not a manger on site at the time. She threw her hands in the air and stormed out of the room while I was mid sentence. (If I was manager here I would go check the videos of her behavior at about 8:30am on 9/21). She was so rude the other employee was so embarrassed and told me she was so sorry that a manger would call me as soon as they got in. She was so embarrassed by Dawn that she said, "I'm sorry she's a groomer and doesn't normally work with people" I understand companies are short staffed and I have grace for that. Dawn knows that they are short staffed and with that feels like she can treat people however she wants with no recourse. If I were an employer I would be short staffed all day long before hiring someone who was rude to my customers, especially if they were upset because of a mistake the company made. Update: I still haven't heard from a manager but when I went out to my truck I noticed I missed a text message from Dawn. She states, "Hi this is Dawn my dogs are filling up my room is your husband on the way for Bruno?". This is odd because Bruno had an appointment so there should be room for him. It is my speculation that Dawn decided that she could probably get three dogs done in place of my 70 lb dog who had an appointment for weeks. I don't know if she really isn't capable of working on my dog or if she just didn't want to take the time it took. It's suspicious thou. Either way, I won't be doing business with rude people or people unwilling to fix their mistakes. read more

If I could give this place no stars, I would. We left our dog buddy for a week and when we went to pick him up, his dog bed was covered and absolutely soaked in pee, which tells me that they didn't take him out the entire week like they said they would. They told us he would get walked three times a day even though he wasn't allowed near dogs he could at least be walked out to go use the bathroom. His paws were stained yellow from getting pee all over himself and his bed. And then they have the audacity to say he might've just done it when it was completely soaked to the point that we had to throw it away entirely instead of washing it!! Granted they did offer to wash it, but considering how they treated our dog, we didn't wanna have anything else to do with them. Staff obviously does not care about dogs at all and I would highly not recommend bringing your dog here. Furthermore, it has been three days since our dog has been returned home with us, and it took him three days to finally eat something which also tells me that he was most likely either neglected or abused by them. read more

Can't recommend this place anymore after using them for many years. I know good help is hard to find, but the people they have here now don't even seem to like animals. Called to let them know my dog who we've taken here for years had passed away and the girl said okay and then lectured me that my other dog needs shots soon. I was surprised by her reaction and she explained that she hears about dead dogs all the time. We've had a lot of trouble contacting them recently to make and confirm reservations and usually have to drive up there now and find someone to talk to. I can't imagine leaving an animal here again. read more

We booked an appointment over a week out for bathing and grooming service, the appointment was scheduled for 12:00, when we showed up the attendant stated that the groomer does not do bathinmg after 10:00am, I stated but we called and the person set up the appointment for 12:00 for bathing and furminmation, she said yes the appointment is in the computer however the groomer does not ahve time for you today... We drove from Parrish to Bradenton for absolutley nothing.. Will never go back. We have been loyal to Pet Suites for over 3 years and unfortunatly that relationship eneded today. read more

Excellent facility with great staff! I was in the area for 2 months on business and sent my dogs for daycare and occasional boarding. Because my dogs are older I liked that they offered private rooms with group playtime breaks since all-day play might be a little too much for them. The staff there was great with the dogs and my pups loved going there. My only suggestion is it would be great if all the Petsuites locations nationwide were linked so I could use my daycare package anywhere and didn't have to register them from scratch at each location. read more

PetSuites Bradenton - Evelyn at petsuites during Christmas being the cutest - Pet Boarding Near Me - Bradenton, Florida

I had my 3 year old French bulldog there for the 1st time ever in a kennel. I went to feed her myself and see how she was doing that first evening. She would not after an hr or more I asked to take her back to where they were keeping her and they refused, said I could not go back there it was their policey. I pitched a fit and asked to talk to a manager. there was not one there . the girls there looked to be only in their teens and did not know how to talk to a customer. Finally one said, she would take my dog back then come back up and take me for a tour. I was so upset by this time I was in tears and had my 6 year old granddaughter with me who did not need to see all that drama. My dog was only there for Friday night, saturday night and I picked her up Sunday afternoon. When she was brought out she was panting so hard she was hoarse and her ears were beet red, her nose was completely dried out and cracked. I got her in the car and she drank 1/2 a bowl of water, then I opened the container where her food was cut for each meal and there were still 2 pieces of food I had cut for each meal, soooo they did not feed her 2 of her meals!!!! Pure negligence!!! I was also charged more than I was supposed to be and was told it was due to it being premium season, which I was not told this. When I did call the next day and spoke to Faith a manager, she did refund me a portion of my bill, I told her I was appalled at the fact my pup was not fed 2 meals and there refusal to let me go see where they were keeping her was a red flag to me!!! She also stated that the employee should not have taken me back there it was against there policy----INSANE-- and my dog was not monitored for severe anxiety-(1st time kenneled),, I should have been called. NEXT- four days after getting home I had to take her to an Urgent Care Vet where she was diagnosed with severe kennel cough and pneumonia, $700.00 dollars later with tons of strong antibiotics to come home with. MY dog has been extremely ill and lost 1 and 1/2 lbs, She had been vaccinated for kennel cough with in the last 6 months. NO one will tell me she did not get this there!!!! She certainly did!!! SOOOOO PLEASE PEOPLE THINK TWICE before putting your pup in these incompetent ,untrained peoples care!!!! It has been 1 week on meds and she is still somewhat sick, still not eating normally!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET THERE!!!!! ZERO STARS read more

Have been using PetSuites Bradenton location for boarding a few years now and have been pretty satisfied until this past week. We left for 6 days and this visit I arranged for our girl to be groomed the day before we picked up. We consulted upon drop off with the grooming requests and the size of clipper guard to use. When we picked up she was nice and clean and ready to come home. We got home and I looked at her and realized they hadn't cut her hair so I called. They told me the staff member we dropped off with was new and had entered the wrong service into the computer system so our pup had only received a bath. I said Ok, no problem, we'll just bring her back for the rest of the groom this week- she won't need a bath. I was informed she'd have to be bathed again: ok fine but that should be comped as it was their mistake- this was not offered even when asked for. So- I guess PetSuites doesn't want our business anymore. It's pretty sad to lose a customer over a $50 bath. read more

Picked up my two dogs yesterday from an extended stay with PS Bradenton. It's never been an issue before with short stays, but I won't be returning to this business after seeing the condition my dogs were after arriving home at night. One of them, a small Silkie, had a crap plug on his butt about the size of a quarter where you can tell it had been dried up for days. I had asked them in advance to do a nail trim, which they did, however common sense tells me that if someone saw a puppy in this condition they would have done something about it, even for an additional charge. They hardly ate anything I sent for my dogs, you can't get a hold of them half of the time b/c it goes to voicemail and they don't answer email, and their check-in/out process is slow, even after doing a pre-registration. Finally, you get a 'paw-gress' report to let you know how well they did, seriously? Skip the dumb report and take care of the animals you are entrusted with. In the end, the bottle of vino I drank after bathing my dogs was easier to open than uncorking my dog's butthole. read more

My first experience with PetSuites did not go well but as time passed I can tell that my dog really enjoys the experience and involvement with the other dogs and the people. I also am definitely changing my opinion about this place compared to their competitors. Very seldom do you see anyone laughing or showing that it's more than just a job. read more

We went one trial time and thought it was a really nice clean friendly place. We would probably go there regularly since it is the closest & most convenient to our house. Unfortunately they force your dog to have flu vaccination to go there. No other places around here- all their competitors Pet Paradise, Bayside, K9, AAA, & Camp Bow Wow- 0 enforce the flu vaccination. Although their competition are all miles out of our way we have to utilize one of them. Perhaps Pet Suites should reconsider making a flu vaccine mandatory since this policy may be losing them more customers. read more

The worse experience as a pet owner and 3 years loyal customer, they changed the appointment time by one hour in the morning of the appointment and then they called us said we are late and they have to Reschedule the grooming that I booked 3 weeks advanced There was no manager in the building and the person handled it was extremely rude and finally after 20 minutes waiting the new groomer from the back came and took my dog for the grooming , she said my dog was matted and she shaved my dog all the way to skin And more nicer is they charged me $110 vs $70-$80 that was their price I called back and I talked to the manager She supposed to call me back because apparently they should not charge more than $70 for shaving per manager Never heard back from that lady I will never go back to that place and be aware of this place read more

Been using this facility on and off for 3 years. Our last visit (today) to board our dog for 5 hours showed a marked deterioration in staff helpfulness and attitude plus organization. I would suggest the management get a handle on the problems before they lose customers. read more

The facility seems nice but it's hard to find a staff member that cares. Two dog family and they've always got along. Apparently get into a fight their first stay. Odd, but I thought maybe my oldest is getting older and wants more space. We specifically ask to have them in separate rooms & make reservations accordingly. Again, I am given a call saying a fight between my dogs happened. I ask, how did they get in the same kennel? Finally someone admitted to being overbooked, seen they have been booked together before and tossed them in together. Meds are never given back, not even sure if they're given during the stay at this point. My dogs have happily co-existed together for 7 years and they only two fights they had (which broke skin) were under these peoples supervision. For the price you pay here -- it is absolutely not worth it. read more

Like many other reviewers, I had positive experiences at Petsuites Bradenton until my most recent visit. My two cats were supposed to have adjoining suites with an opening between the two, which has been the case when they've boarded there for years. This time they were assigned suites in separate rows, and when I asked for them to be moved to adjoining, the staff member assured me that what appeared to me to be (and was ) a TV screen was a removable privacy panel. Glad I was there and able to have them put in proper suites. However when I picked them up 10 days later, the privacy panel between them was closed. It also appeared than none of our dry food or dry snacks had been used. Last, the cat bed of one of my cats was missing when I went to pick them up. They tried to tell me that I had not brought that bed to begin with, which is simply not true. I agree with the reviewers who observe that there seems to have been a dramatic change in the skill level and caring of the staff. Unless and until I hear from reviewers or management that there is a major change, we won't be going there again. read more

I selected one star as you have to have at least one. It is impossible to get through on the phone as I tried for weeks to make an appointment. They want you to text them and then ignore it for days. my dog came home sick a few times. They have very young teenagers working there which is fine however there is no one over 18 supervising. we booked our dog for boarding over Christmas and they closed six hours early and didn't tell us. they were supposed to be open until 8 p.m. and we dropped off our pup at 3:30p.m. to find the facility closed. we knocked and knocked on the door for fifteen minutes and a young girl came to the door and called her manager. the manager yelled at us that it was posted on their door about the early closure! they have all of our contact info and their website said nothing of an early closure. as well at the time of booking nothing was mentioned. what happened to us was terrible. if we are treated like this by management then how do they treat our dog in our absence? we had a cruise booked for Christmas, and to have Petsuites ruin our vacation is UNACCEPTABLE! read more

I needed to get my cat's toenails clipped because she won't let me do it and my vet is just doing medical stuff during COVID19. This would be a 5-star review except for one thing. They were great over the phone, on time, did a good job on her, and were very reasonably priced. They have closed the lobby because of the virus and they come out to the parking lot to get the pets which I appreciate. But that is negated by the fact that the staff comes out not wearing a mask. I saw several interactions with customers in or out of their cars with close interactions and neither wearing a mask. I stayed in my car and did wear a mask, but I would have been much more comfortable had they showed the same level of concern. read more

The amount of attitude just on the phone was awful. We had called 3 times and left voicemails to get on the schedule. Our dogs spots were taken and we were told our dogs take up too much time for them to book us. I get being under staffed, but there's much more going on here and it's a lack of actually caring for customers and that EVERYONE should be understanding not just the customer. As a place of business who provides a service you guys should really be treating people with more respect, that isn't an 'under staffed' issue. read more

This was one of the worst experiences I've had at a dog boarding facility. My family and I came into town on July 17, 2021 to visit the beaches and we were turned away due to our dog being in heat. We specifically reserved a private day care room (the day prior) due to our dog not being fixed. Pet suites NEVER disclosed (at the time the reservation was made) that dogs that are currently in heat are not allowed on the premises. If this was something that was disclosed to us, we would have happily made reservations at another boarding facility. Due to this unfortunate event we were not able visit beaches in area, due to them not being dog friendly. To make matters worse, the male representative (with the red beard) at front desk was extremely disrespectful and lacked any sense of respect for the customer. read more

Awesome experience at PetSuites! My initial visit to set up the reservation was handled expertly by Erica. She was thorough, answered all my questions and was very kind to a nervous dog mom. The whole building was clean and had no dog smells whatsoever. Her kennel was large and they provided a lambs wool pad for her to lay on and I was able to bring my dog's own blanket, toys and special treats to make her feel more at home. I know she had a good time because she has been sleeping for the last 20 hours!!! And thank you Cassie for calling and checking on us the next morning to see how my dog was doing and if she had a good stay. I highly recommend Pet Suites read more

My biggest complaint is that this place needs to work on its SEO/SEM and pop up on a web search. I looked at many places in the area and I only stumbled across this place driving past it.
