When we got them back they went from completely untrained to trained in every way! Door manners, in the car, on the leash, and other basic commands, you name it! They were crazy about food and now they will sit in front of food and wait to eat it when they are told. It's amazing! We then brought them back for a tune up when our son was born. It was awesome knowing they were with people who knew them and loved them. Our dog Charlie ran and jumped in the lake immediately! Happy as can be. A huge shoutout to Derrick! When our son was born 4 weeks early he went out of his way to pick our dogs up when we were stuck at the hospital. He truly loves the dogs and cares about the families. She adores everyone there, and I have always felt that she is in excellent care. I wish they had as big of a pool as my place up north, but she is very happy and healthy, and without hesitation, I trust everyone there. Anytime there is a question, the manager Caroline, and all of the staff, are attentive and respectful. I feel all the staff is well trained and loves their job, and as a side note, I like that my dog always comes home clean, and of course happy- as I mentioned before. Both of my dogs have been sick for the past six days after staying there, so I called simply to ask if there had been any recent cases of kennel cough or respiratory illness and to make them aware of what was going on. I was told they hadn't had any cases within the past year, which is completely fine. I explained that I still wanted to let them know that both of my dogs are currently sick in case they wanted to document it or be aware that there may now be a case. Instead of showing any concern, the response I received felt extremely dismissive, and there was laughing on the phone while I was trying to explain the situation. I wasn't calling to accuse PetSuites of causing anything. I was simply a concerned pet owner trying to get information and make them aware that two dogs who recently stayed at their facility are now sick. The way Madeline and Jasmine handled the conversation made me feel like my concerns were being laughed at rather than taken seriously. I genuinely love this facility, which makes this interaction even more disappointing. I would expect much more professionalism, kindness, and concern when a customer calls worried about the health of their pets. **in response to your reply: I appreciate the response, but if reports like mine aren't even being documented, I'm not sure how you can accurately say no dogs have been sick in the past year. No questions were asked when I called, so I know my dogs' illness wasn't recorded. I really think staff should be trained to take these calls more seriously and document them. Thanks.
