We took our year old Goldendoodle there to be groomed. She had been groomed before but because she had grown so big the groomer couldn't get her on the grooming table. The first time at Nancy's was fine. Good haircut, what we wanted. The second time, no. Our dog came home with marks on her stomach (which had been shaved badly) from the clippers as well a scabs on her hip joints where the clippers had cut her. We didn't see these marks until the next day. Nothing was said when she was picked up. The groom was a mess. We will not be going back.

    Exactly what I asked for!

I'm so lucky that we moved close and found Nancy's! They do an incredible job with Sperry and I love how he gets to socialize and hang out in the shop with the other dogs instead of being crated. They are consistent and trust worthy!

Clean, groomed with BOTH ears up!

Breeder was still available after the sale any time I had a question. Even when I forgot everything she told me about the dog because I was so excited, she had taken the time to write everything down on the contract for me when I got home, things like what she liked to est, routine dewormer med/dates, name of previous vet, etc. She really thought of everything to help make the transition easier! She has the best health guarantee in the business, but we never had to use it. Our vet confirmed she was healthy like the breeder's vet said. Will definitely be going back to Rivalt for our next dog!

However, I was checking out her posts on Facebook and saw the very sane photos of the dog, but she stated on FB that the dog was 3 years old. So I asked her a few times about the dog's age, by email through her website, and each time she said the dog was 7 months old. She wanted $1800 for the dog, so I wanted to be sure of the accuracy of her responses. When I was at the Bank getting the $$, I texted Jennifer once again about the age of the dog and she confirmed the dog was 7 months old. But when we went to get the dog, I pointed out that her posts of the 3 year old dog on FB in 2022, were identical to the photos of the 7 month old dog on the Rivalt website. She said that she always used the same photos, because she didn't have the time to take individual pics of each and every dog. I told her in front of my husband to just be honest with me. So I glanced at the dog's papers and saw that the issued date of registration was in 2021. That would have put the dog at 2 years old. When I questioned Jennifer, she said the yes. the dog was older than what she originally said, but that she really needed to unload the dog. We stood in the driveway by our car during all of this, not once in the house or seeing any of the other dogs or their living conditions. In addition, Jennifer never asked me any questions about our home life, other pets we may have, if we were familiar with the breed, etc. No screening whatsoever. That said, it was all very unusual to us to not receive full health info and records for this 4 year old dog. She did tell me I could call the vet and obtain all her records. I shouldn't have had to do that, but when I did call the vet, they said this dog had been there only once for rabies shot! When I questioned Jennifer, she said there were a couple of other vets in the area where she took the dog, and that I could call those places for when the dog had pups. I've never had to do that with any of the dogs we purchased from breeders! We loved the looks of the little dog and its temperament, so I gave her the $$ and we left. We felt that we truly rescued this dog, but at a significant cost. When I got home, I realized that Jennifer had conveniently stapled over the dog's birthdate on the Registration form. The birthdate showed 5/10/2019! That put the dog at 4 years old. But we still wanted the dog so I texted Jennifer and she said she must have been confused, mixing things up with the next customer who was going there for another dog. Hmmmm.....that was definitely an intentional screw up on her part. We come to find out that she used a shock collar on this 3 lb dog, as she had scabs and scars on her neck! We took the dog to the vet right after we got her, but we have no idea when any shots were given or if flea/tick/hearguard was administered, we just learned through a fecal exam that the dog has hookworms, so we're treating her for that. I asked about rabies vaccine, and Jennifer said, yes, she's due for it. We don't know why but she clearly wanted rid of this dog, yet she didn't end up selling the dog back in 2022, when she posted it for sale. We can only surmise that others may have also seen her true colors and decided to go with their gut feeling/s. She keeps eluding to the contract she gave to me for the Sale of Puppies....not adult dogs. Nothing was written down. She didn't honor my request for a receipt when I asked for it. I don't know if the dog had any other shots, than rabies. No instructions provided, except that the food given was Pedigree, which is definitely a sub-par dog food. Even my vet remarked on that. We want to keep the dog, but I did ask Jennifer for at least a refund of $300 to offset the vet bills. She flatly refused and said that we wanted a 'free' dog, which is absolutely NOT the case. but we were charged way too much for a 4 year old dog, and we were hoodwinked with several inconsistencies. I read that she's bred and sold Chihuahuas, Lhasa Apsos, Dobermans and French Bulldogs. Perhaps she should be operating as a Business , rather than a 'hobby', with any and all associated ramifications. Note: I see that she has revised the website (rivaltkennels.wixsite.com) to now require a Password for guest entry.....most likely she didn't want my negative review to blatantly appear to any new prospects. There it is again, her dishonesty shines through. BUYER BEWARE!

After many months of research, I acquired my female and was looking for an intact male. I contacted Hadakat cattery and made an inquiry as to whether they offer males for breeding. I was denied and she talked to like I was an idiot. She accused me of having no knowledge about the hereditary problems that are prevalent in this breed. She has no clue as to the extent of my knowledge, or the years of history I have breeding exotics. She is just another person trying corner this market and prevent others from competing against her. If you are afraid of others infringing on your cash cow, that's fine, you have that right, but when you treat people with disrespect and make unwavering claims, you might want to know who you are talking down to. I highly do NOT recommend Hadakat cattery.

Our adoption experience with Marlohe and Eileen were seamless. Before meeting Marlohe, we spent a considerable amount of time, getting to know her and Eileen. During this time, we learned so much about their kittens and how much they truly care for their babies. We learned that our Kitten was in Colorado with Eileen, and they were willing to drive our kitten from Colorado to Florida with incredible care throughout the journey. From there, we knew right away, they were the right people to adopt our next kitten! Rest assured you are in good hands with both Sarasota Persian Cats Persian Kittens and KitnCouture.
