My German Shepherd, Jasmine, passed away at home on 1/18/2024. When the need arises, I bring my beloved pets to Abbey Glen myself but due to the impending storm I was unable to. I did some research in between the tears and found Victor at Pets to Remember. From what I was reading in the reviews, he was everything that I was looking for to handle my beloved Jasmine. He was kind, empathetic, compassionate, and treated Jasmine with the utmost care and respect. I would not hesitate to recommend Victor at Pets to Remember. Thank you, Victor, for making my upsetting day a little easier.

Our beloved Layla passed away early in the morning and we called pets to remember immediately. They arrived within 2 hours and handled the situation very gracefully. They were able to handle our 60 pound ish girl for us when I know I wouldn't have been able to (physically or emotionally). We were able to select from a wide variety of urns. We are grateful for their help.

I want to Thank Pets To Remember for an amazing Job, Victor didn't just pick up my precious Miko doll, He took his time to explained everything and was so Compassionate and sweet. Even though it was one of our saddest day and I'm so grateful I found Victor and Pets to Remember. Our Family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts. Please continue to make family feel at ease through their difficult time when a PET (who is a family member) is loss. I would recommend you to everyone I know and I have posted your amazing work on my Facebook and Instagram page. Bless you now and always.

They are very gentle and caring at a time when most people are struggling with their loss.

Speaking to Victor was comforting and he showed so much empathy for my loss, I knew this was the right place.

We knew that we wanted to have her cremated as we had done we other pets that had passed through the years. We had dealt with another crematory in the past through our vet(s) and were nt happy with the recent reviews that they'd been getting. After some research we came upon your crematory and were happy with what we were reading about other people's experiences. We called that morning and spoke to Marisol who was very sympathetic, informative, and respectful. She gave us an appointment right away. We drove to them in Secaucus from Brooklyn and when we arrived Marisol met us at the door. She and Mariah were very polite, understanding, and accommodating. They took our Oreo and placed her on a bed surrounded by flowers and gave us some time alone to say our goodbyes. Marisol then waked us through the cremation process and showed us where it would be done and guaranteed us that it would only be Oreo's ashes that we would be receiving. We were given the opportunity to be present for Oreo's cremation. Ultimately Oreo's ashes were returned to us in less than 2 hours and were were able to bring her back home with us same day. They made this sad morning easier to get through. Along with Oreo's ashes we received a beautiful wooden box to keep her in with an engraved brass pate attached, a certificate allowing us to travel with her ashes, a wooden beaded bracelet, her paw print in clay with 2 gems attached, a stand for her paw print, a rose that lights up, and a notebook with the Rainbow Bridge poem on the cover. We were overwhelmed by all that we were given and the wonderful service that we were provided by Marisol and Mariah. We highly recommend Pet Rest in Peace to any loving pet owner.

From the very beginning, it was clear this is a family-owned place run with compassion and integrity. They treated my cat with the utmost dignity and care, and they treated us, the grieving family, with patience and respect. Not once did we feel rushed or disregarded. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye, and they did it in the most humble and comforting way possible. In moments like these, emotions run high, and it is rare to find people who truly understand how to handle them. The team here made sure our grief was honored, our feelings were acknowledged, and that our cat's final journey was handled with gentleness. If you are ever in the painful position of needing these services, I cannot recommend them enough. They go far beyond just providing a service. They provide care, respect, and compassion when you need it most.

When he asked when I'd like to pick up my pet's ashes, I said the next day. He told me I couldn't because he wouldn't be there and to come back on Saturday, but he never gave me a specific time. When I returned on Saturday, I called him to let him know I was there. That's when he told me pickup was between 11 and 12. I explained that he never mentioned a time, and his response was, "That's what they all say." Losing a pet is already heartbreaking. I believe a business that handles something so sensitive should have a clearer system for pickup -- and show a little more empathy to grieving pet owners.

I thought I called the wrong number since this is a business and they did not announce themselves. When I asked "Where am I calling" he replies "You dont know where youre calling?" I was able to come in the same day to bring my pet which was very convenient. When he brought me into his office, he was not very sympathethic to my current loss and was just providing small talk - my precious baby was just put on the conveyor belt. I would have a box or something to make it a little less harsh. The next day I came to get my ashes, he came out immediately. There was no service and I was trying to get service to put my address in the GPS which took about 4 minutes to which he came outside and asked me to please move down the road because his dogs were barking. Going to him directly cut the price down and allowed me to ride with my precious babygirl the whole way but I wish he would remember that although it is a business, some sort of empathy should be displayed when it is the person bringing their own deceased pet.
