From the moment we walked through the door we noted how clean and professional and calming and welcoming the space was. We were given a private, comfortable room while we waited. Dr Kelly was extremely thorough in describing the procedure, taking the time to answer all of our questions in a compassionate and truly patient-centered way. He was clearly passionate about the work and incredibly knowledgeable. We were treated with respect and he was open and honest about his recommendations and projected outcomes. The technicians were also caring and went the extra mile to make Daphne (and us) feel comfortable. I received a call with updates from the doctor himself as soon as the surgery was completed, and then another extensive conversation when we returned to pick her up to ensure we understood everything with her discharge and what to expect in the coming days and months. It was clear Dr Kelly and his team are the best of the best when it comes to this type of ortho procedure and we would 10/10 recommend Stonecliff to anyone needing this type of care. We travelled 2.5 hours to get there and it was well worth the trip to know she was in good hands and to reduce the fears we had going into it. We hope to never have to go back but are so thankful to have received the care we did when we needed it!

Ok, so we hung around the area for another hour and when we arrived at 1pm, they said they had an emergency and had run out of shampoo, so it would be another hour and a half! At this point we had had enough and took the dog home, still needing a bath. When we arrived home, we gave him some water and he drank and drank and drank some more, making us wonder if he had access to water at all for the 4 hours he was waiting for a bath. So upon arrival to work I was let go. Instead of driving four hours to come back just a few hours later to pick him up I called and gave them over an hour notice by voicemail that I'd be on my way now to get him. Of course no call back. I get there and an treated poorly and quite disrespectful for being early. Mind you I'm in serious pain from just leaving a hospital procedure and lost my job. Already not a good day. With an attitude and absolutely no control over my 75 pound German shepherd who is quite happy to see me he is letting him.jump.slll over me. He scratched my face actual til it bled while Tom did nothing to hold him back. As my dog is jumping all over me and Tom isn't helping at all he's just handing over his bags of food and treats. I'm sorry I don't have three hands. Finally he helps get Loki in the car I can only assume because I was taking too long. As he was walking away he said his wife sent me videos of how well his training went. I waited three days before emailing asking for the videos he mentioned. There were two a minute a piece of my dog literally being held on a leash sniffing. That's it. I was disgusted. Disappointed. I do not recommend this place. And be aware that if you are paying for training you may want to make sure you stick around bc I'm positive Loki got zero training there. They made my bad day worse. They are horrible with communication unless it's about them getting your money. Fake people. Unorganized. Horrible experience.

I had a sad experience today visiting Lebanon Pet and Aquarium Center. This is a store I've been…read moregoing to on and off for 30 years and today it was in the worst shape I've ever seen. The fish tanks were dirty and had very few fish in them. Many of the tanks had a sign saying the fish were being treated for "ich" due to stress. The tanks had blue-green algae, black beard algae and brown diatom algae with dirty glass and lots of debris on the bottom. The fish were listless and unhealthy looking and most of the live plants were pale or decomposing. There was not a single tank in the whole shop that was pretty or inspiring, not even the "show tanks." Upstairs in the bird and small animal room the rabbits and guinea pigs were in enclosures with dirty blankets as bedding and lots of droppings spilling out onto the floor. The saddest part was the birds, especially the parakeets who were huddled in one corner of their pen, all subdued and slightly fluffed up. None of them were moving around or eating or playing or even chirping like normal healthy parakeets usually do. I'm not sure what was wrong, but after observing for a while I noticed that the air conditioner was right over their heads, blowing a cold draft. Perhaps that was what they were trying to avoid by clustering together in one corner. The employees in the store were all very nice and doing the best they could. However they were all very young, some perhaps just teenagers and they seemed overwhelmed. In the fish room I learned that the "main guy" (who knew about how to care for fish) had quit his job there recently so no one left really knew how to keep the tanks in good condition. Upstairs in the animal room there was just one worker with the responsibility for all those animals and customer service too. My hope in writing this review is that someone in charge of this store, the manager or owner, reads this and is concerned enough to address these issues. The store definitely needs some employees who understand fish keeping to get those tanks up to some level of decency and they also need more help in the animal room. Overall the place really needs some positive leadership on site to raise morale as well as overall standards of care for the fish and animals.

By Monday morning, all 4 of the neon tetras were dead. I misplaced my receipt, so I was unable use the 3-day fish guarantee to return the dead bodies and have my water tested so the fish could be replaced. On the morning of Wednesday, March 4th, I discovered that my established fish, as well as the new ones, now all have ICK, so I started treatment and water changes. Today is Friday, March 6th, and we have lost two more of the new fish: one tiger barb and one of the other tetras. That's $36 worth of dead fish, plus $12.99 for ICK treatment, not to mention the time I have had to put in so far to try to treat the illness. I should have known better; there were signs on the tanks near the ones we purchased the fish out of stating that those fish were not for sale because they were undergoing treatment. I assume that the filtration systems in the tanks are connected, so if one tank in that row has sick fish, all the tanks in the row should be quarantined. However, I looked very closely for signs of illness and thought I had chosen healthy fish. My fish tank is very important to my family, and some of the fish that are now fighting for their lives have been with us for close to 10 years. I will never purchase fish from this store again! I'm very disappointed in this experience and truly hope the rest of my fish survive the ICK treatment!
