They did a perfect job with our grooming and reasonable prices. I plan to go any time I am in town in NH!

The worst cut ever. And I gave them several photos to work from. Totally butchered, it's taking forever to grow out.

I'm so happy to have found Stonecliff. Shortly after moving to Lebanon, I was looking for a vet for…read moremy 2 cats. I have had great vets in the past and it matters a lot to me that I feel the vets care about my pets as much as I do. I definitely get that vibe with the staff at Stonecliff. I first brought one of my cats, Kodi, here as a new patient after he was vomiting for a couple days with no apparent cause. The care and follow-up to ensure Kodi was feeling better sold this vet for me. I brought back my 2 cats when it came time for their annual exams. They have a membership program as well that gives you 2 free exams per year (one for each cat in my case - win!) which I signed up for since it actually cost less than the 2 individual exams for my cats. You also get to earn money for every dollar spent toward future expenses, and a portion of the revenue from your payments are donated to their Brutus Fund - a fund for pets whose owners are experiencing financial hardship and can't afford treatments. I recently brought Kodi in for a dental treatment as well and was nervous as this was the first major operation either of my cats has had, and the staff were extremely reassuring and comforting and called me when he was out of his surgery as well as the following morning to see how he was doing. That being said, the dental surgery was more expensive than I could pay at once and they suggested CareCredit to me, which is a credit card that they accept that allows for 6 months of no interest payments, which allowed me to pay for my Kodi's treatment in a way that didn't require dipping into savings. I never feel pressured to purchase a certain product or that they are pushing unnecessary services on me during my visits, as I've experienced at other vets and truly feel they have the animals' best interests in mind. I'm so lucky to have this vet in the area and highly recommend them!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Stonecliff! My 5 year old fur baby, Daphne,…read morewent in for TPLO surgery yesterday and Dr Kelly and his entire team was amazing! From the moment we walked through the door we noted how clean and professional and calming and welcoming the space was. We were given a private, comfortable room while we waited. Dr Kelly was extremely thorough in describing the procedure, taking the time to answer all of our questions in a compassionate and truly patient-centered way. He was clearly passionate about the work and incredibly knowledgeable. We were treated with respect and he was open and honest about his recommendations and projected outcomes. The technicians were also caring and went the extra mile to make Daphne (and us) feel comfortable. I received a call with updates from the doctor himself as soon as the surgery was completed, and then another extensive conversation when we returned to pick her up to ensure we understood everything with her discharge and what to expect in the coming days and months. It was clear Dr Kelly and his team are the best of the best when it comes to this type of ortho procedure and we would 10/10 recommend Stonecliff to anyone needing this type of care. We travelled 2.5 hours to get there and it was well worth the trip to know she was in good hands and to reduce the fears we had going into it. We hope to never have to go back but are so thankful to have received the care we did when we needed it!

He told me during a consult he had to hold my very small dogs mouth closed and she turned blue and couldn't breathe...when I simply and respectfully asked for more details about this, he cancelled her procedure and told me we weren't welcome. He would rather my dog suffer or even die than provide more info. He clearly has a big ego problem and is too rough with animals...my dog was clearly scared. I can't believe I let him take her for a consult in the first place. Additionally, he rushed the conversation, made me feel like an idiot, and rudely told me nowhere else would be able to fit me in before September (4 months from now.) He also gave incorrect info about another diagnosis he clearly knew nothing about. Marie in the office was fantastic, I wish I could work solely with her. But if you want to keep your pet safe, healthy, and unharmed, stay far away from "Mike". I wish someone had warned me, I feel so bad for not trusting my gut and feel like I let my sweet girl down for even letting him take her for a consult in the first place!

I was early to the interview and dr Mike and his wife dr.sandy showed up late for the intervie. By the time I made it back home they called me back in cuz I left. so because I wanted the job I went back for an hour and a half interview of dr sandy showing me pictures of the X-rays of the dentistry I explained that I was highly interested in the position and it looked like fun and looked very informative and wanted to learn as much as I could. dr.sandy said ok and had me come in yesterday 5/17/2022. I was there for six hours shadowing everyone. Well after I left I was confident I had the job just a little while ago I got a call from dr. Mike after I wrote a thank you letter to him and his staff saying that he hired someone else. needless to say that broke my heart for I have dedicated the past six years devoted to helping animals in need. all I can say is best of luck to whoever they hired but it still hurts that they couldn't just let me know ahead of time they were going to hire someone else and get my hopes up.

They also said they did transport to the daycare facility and boarding on occasion. It seemed perfect. I should mention that there are Kara's pet care facilities in Portsmouth, Berwick, and Falmouth. First I was asked to set up a meet and greet with one of their associates at my home so she could meet my pets. It took me many tries to get through many unreturned phone calls, but finally we did set up the meet and greet and that went well. Then I was asked to set up an app and an account before we could actually schedule any dog care. So I set up the app and the account. Then I was asked to drive my dogs to their facility to see if the dogs would "be happy there." So I drove my dogs 25 minutes to the facility. When I got to the facility I was told that they were supposed to stay there for a day assessment and then I should come and pick them up. This was not communicated to me earlier, and I had not budgeted an extra hour of driving back-and-forth. Then they would reschedule the assessment and they would come and pick up my dogs for the day-long assessment. All before any dog care could be scheduled. So, still not on the calendar. So to summarize: you need to go through a long process of scheduling a meet and greet, then you need to have the meet and greet, then you need to sign up for the app, then your dogs have to be assessed to see if they will be happy. I'm just thinking that anyone who's busy enough to need dog care is too busy for this multilayered, multi-step, poorly communicated process where phone calls, texts, and emails are returned only about half the time.
