Following my initial review, the management team reached out to get my side of the story about Koda's situation. I provided the details, including that Koda was healthy going into the spay surgery but has struggled to walk properly ever since. Naturally, we were hopeful, thinking they would do the right thing. They set us up with a neurologist vet for an initial exam to see if they could proceed with an MRI, with the intention of determining if Lovet would cover the cost. We went to the neurologist on 6/28/2025 for the initial exam to evaluate whether the MRI would be covered. Fast forward to 7/19/2026, and I received a call from a Lovet vet informing me that they would NOT be paying for the MRI. Their reasoning? They still don't believe it's their fault. The neurologist vet has stated that while it's not impossible, further testing--like an MRI--is necessary to rule out possible causes. But the only thing the initial exam involved was watching Koda walk and testing her reflexes. How can this possibly determine if the vet is at fault or not? I'm very aware that I am not a medical professional, but this doesn't feel right. I've told them I will appeal this decision, and I will not stop until Koda gets the justice she deserves. And to top it all off, they refuse to provide me with a contact number to speak with someone at their corporate office who made this decision.

About a year ago, my dog tore her ACL (I believe it's called a CCL in dogs). We were referred to the Glendale location for surgery. While preparing for the procedure, they mentioned she was coming up on her rabies vaccine. She had always been on the 3-year rabies schedule and was around 8 years old at the time. They offered to administer the vaccine during surgery, and given that my focus was on getting her through the operation, I agreed without hesitation. Fast forward to now, I received an email stating her rabies vaccine was due. That didn't make sense since she has consistently been on the 3-year vaccine. When I stopped by to pick up Zoee's medication, the front desk staff acknowledged it appeared to be the same dosage and said they would message the vet to see if the record could simply be corrected to reflect the 3-year vaccine. Less than an hour later, a vet tech called and told me Zoee would need to come in for another rabies shot regardless. I explained the situation, but was told it didn't matter. After going back and forth, I said I would bring her in, but I did not feel I should have to pay an exam fee for what appears to be a documentation error on their end. I even asked for a veterinarian to call me directly to discuss it, but no one ever did. It's disappointing after being a customer for over a decade to feel like concerns are dismissed and that the focus is more on fees than accountability or communication. Based on my recent experiences, I would encourage others to carefully consider their options before bringing their pets here.

Long-time customer here (4-5 years), which is why this experience was so disappointing…read more Earlier this year, my account received a credit for boarding services because my girlfriend was working for the company. That credit remained on the account and was later used toward additional services. Recently, I scheduled a $300+ vet appointment expecting to use the remaining credit. Only after those services were completed was I informed that the remaining credit balance had been removed due to an internal employee discount eligibility issue tied to my girlfriend's former employment. The issue isn't the policy--it's how it was handled. The credit was applied, left on the account, and then reversed after services were already rendered, without any prior notice. I relied on the balance when scheduling services and was unexpectedly charged out of pocket. I made multiple attempts to resolve this directly, including requesting that it be reviewed by the owner. Despite that, the decision was upheld at the owner level though I did not receive a direct response. All responses continued to come through management. Early in my dispute, I had a phone conversation with Kelly, during which she stated that they "didn't feel [they] needed to give the courtesy of notice" because my girlfriend "didn't have the courtesy to give notice" when leaving her role. When I said "that's between you and my girlfriend", Kelly replied, "Actually, that's between you and your girlfriend". That interaction was concerning, especially given that this situation affected me as a long-time customer. It was particularly concerning that a customer account was affected based on an internal employment-related issue. Unfortunately, this has made it difficult to trust their handling and communication of billing practices going forward, and I am already taking my business elsewhere. I couldn't give 1 star since the vets are actually really great as is the front desk staff. I just cannot continue to support a business with such a management style.

Dear Dr. Dustinn and the Marketplace Hospital Staff,…read more I want to sincerely thank you all for the incredible care you provided to Mr. Jaspurr. From the moment we walked through your doors, everyone was so friendly, compassionate, and dedicated to making sure he received the best care possible. Over the past few months, Dr. Dustinn went above and beyond for Mr. Jaspurr. I am especially grateful for what you and Brandon did for us recently -- something I know is not a typical procedure outside of the hospital. You both blessed us by coming to our home to help Mr. Jaspurr find peace in the most loving and familiar setting: under the warm sun by the pool he loved. Your kindness and willingness to go out of your way meant more than I can express. Saying goodbye to Mr. Jaspurr was incredibly hard, but you made it as gentle and comforting as possible. Marketplace Hospital is by far the best animal hospital I have ever been to. Thank you again for your extraordinary compassion and care. I am the mama of Chocolate Muffin Dog…read more That's what we heard them calling our 6-year old cavapoo after they whisked her away. Somebody said, "Chocolate Muffin Dog is here." It had been just too much temptation. A Costco treat was on a table, at her eye level. My daughter's stepsister returned to find a wrapper, nothing more. We called our vet down in the West Valley to find out how serious it might be for our girl to have consumed a 1/3 lb dark chocolate chip dessert masquerading as a breakfast item. They asked casual questions, put us on hold, then casually said they were booked and to try the ER down the street. No assistance offered to tell the ER we had an urgent situation, so we still weren't sure that we did. If you live up in these Estrella hills, you know that everything is a half hour away. Cavapoo was showing no signs of anything but a sugar high at this point, had an extra pep in her step. But, we decided that if the vet at least thought she should get checked, we should get her in as fast as we could. I remembered that there's an animal hospital down the street. We called and the sense of urgency was immediately evident. The intake staffer asked her weight and then said she wasn't going to ask patient information because time was of the essence. She told us to get down there immediately. Chocolate Muffin Dog bounded in to greet everyone, and was whisked in the back. We were given constant updates on her care and then taken into an exam room to wait. To our relief, they were able to get her to cough it all up before it absorbed into her system. Sent her home high and loopy on an opioid, We are grateful to realize we have a little hospital that we, hopefully, won't have to rush Chocolate Muffin Dog to again.

Their website provided all information necessary for making an informed decision for at-home euthanasia, including clear pricing options. Booking was easy, I filled out their online form and within about 15-minutes, I received a text offering additional assistance and the opportunity to book the service for my dog. They do take Care Credit which was a great help. Although I cancelled my first appointment due to my uncertainty that it was indeed time, I was able to reschedule also through text. The doctor, Dr. Frost, gave me a call when she was on her way and was very compassion both over the phone as well as upon arrival and throughout the process. While having my 15 year old dog euthanized was a tough and heartbreaking decision to make, I felt comfort knowing that not only was my dog going through this process in the comfort of his own home, but also by a team who truly cared. I would highly recommend Angel Veterinary Services to others making the same difficult decision, especially for the comfort provided throughout the process.
