I asked if it could be applied to his next appointment or if the fee could be reduced. NO FLEXIBILITY. Also there was no mention of a 'rescheduling fee'. No empathy for my hurt dog. My dog didn't move for 2 days and it was painful for her to walk and go outside. Called this location 3 separate times talking to different people about the issue, there was no concern for my dog's condition, empathy or calls to follow-up. We took our little girl for her first time haircut which can be very stressful for puppies. Lisa made it simple and very comfortable for her. Our puppy was able to roam around and feel at home while having her hair cut. Lisa is very warm and welcoming. The boutique itself is clean and doesn't smell bad like other places. Also she thankfully does NOT use cage dryers which is a huge deal for me! Cage dryers are super dangerous. Google it at your own risk. I called and spoke with Tonya who was able to get us in immediately. Dr. Brooke McAfee diagnosed my little angel with Mitral Valve disease after some X-rays and listening to her murmur. Receiving this news was life altering- Belle has been my baby for almost 8 years. Dr. Brooke is amazing- she has the most wonderful and kind nature, inclusive of the empathy so many veterinarians lack these days. I'm so glad we left Vale Park Animal Hospital. Our 13 year old dog recovered well from the 9 extractions, her pain was managed, and we saved $1,500. Our dog has since turned 14 and is very healthy! Doggy dental doesn't need to cost more than your mortgage payment! It seems that Vale Park doubled or tripled their fees after they built a new facility. We took our dogs there for 21 years. They were always higher prices than most vets. All of the original vets retired. It used to feel like family. I didn't feel connected to the newer vets. They used to recommend my dog's teeth be cleaned every 2 yrs but then for 4 years they said they didn't need cleaning and then suddenly said it was needed and would be $2,400.
