This was my first time coming to this location and I must say that I was surprised when I stepped inside of the store. I've been to other locations and this location gives me an intimate boutique vibe. The cashiers were very nice and the store was very clean and organized. This store's small size is a plus, in my opinion. When I shop at PetSmart, I usually know exactly what I want or need and just go right to it; if I had free time to casually browse and look at stuff, then I might go to a full-sized PetSmart but the Simpsonville location is perfectly-sized. They always have what I need, although not always a great selection of the same type of product. The staff is always helpful when I have questions and if I have trouble finding a product, they usually walk me over themselves to show me where what I was looking for is. 5 star for the grooming service!!! Appt at 830 and my dogs were ready as promised and not a minute later.... Amanda was great! Smooth and easy check in followed by a brief health questionnaire and off to the spa they went! Bathed, groomed, thorough brushing( I know because he was shedding severely) followed by toe trims and tooth brushing.... talk about pampered pets. The grooming dept is open before retail store so for those needing to drop in route to work it's a task you can check off saving your weekend for the fun stuff. A written assessment on coat, ears, paws and overall visual checkup to Check health is nice to have! First time visits get $10 off services AND you can add the $coupon provided by Yelp! A $15 dollar savings! We will be back! No it's not the frilly establishment but if you're looking for a grooming service that is fast and thorough I'd recommend this grooming team! read more

Incredibly small store, nowhere near a normal petsmart in size. They obviously carry a much smaller variety of everything including dog foods than most pet smart locations. Even their own brand of dog food they have a small selection which causes me to now go to a different location where they have room to stock their full line of products. I would skip this location and go to a full sized petsmart elsewhere unless you are just gonna buy anything they have stocked and dont need to find a specific food which will require you to drive to the full sized petsmart on woodruff or elsewhere. read more

This is my beautiful dog Mattie. After a horrific life, she rescued me and has been my constant companion ever since. She's an incredible dog, full of life and love and joy. She visits schools to teach little children about tolerance, optimism, embracing differences, and integrity. I have long been a PetSmart patron but never again. Today, after having been groomed wonderfully a month ago, when I went to pick up, I was informed by a cashier that they called and checked on the policy and since Mattie can't stand on her back two legs (BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T HAVE BACK LEGS!!!), she can no longer be groomed there. Mattie is clearly calm and easy to groom. She has never caused one problem and the wonderful Kylie who groomed her last raved about her. Kylie even took the time to sit with her to clip her body. Kylie wasn't there today and it's unfortunate that we will never have the chance to see her there again. Even if there were no places left on the planet to buy pet food or other necessary supplies, I will never ever darken the doors of PetSmart again. And I will tell the world every chance I get how you don't accept handicapped canines. read more

I have been shopping here for a long time. Petsmart was good in Sacramento,CA and they are just as good here. I stopped there after the dog park thinking the dogs would be okay in the car. Well my black lab got out and ran towards the store, a gentlemen by the name of Jared who works there got my dog and helped me find the dog food I was looking for. The dogs hadn't been out in about 2 weeks due to the weather and I had been battling the flu for weeks now. I just want to say how much I appreciate his help, kindness and understanding. Pet smart sucks when they have play dates for for the dogs if you have a little they want allow them to play.

I have been bringing my 4lb yorkie to PetSmart sense he has been born(6 years). I recently moved and brought him to the simponville location.When I came to pick up my dog I was informed that there will be a 10$ special handling fee because he was aggressive. I was also told they SUGGEST I take him to another location.I went to book him a appointment at this location (Fairview road simponville) today 9/17 and was told they suggest that I take him to Someone else. I told them that this has never happened in the years I've been giving PetSmart my money and business. The associate proceeds to tell me again that we suggest geting a personal groomer or go back to greenville.I said if it's a suggestion then I would like to bring him here sense he has never had a specific groomer and it's convient for me. I was then informed they will no longer book him. I am very upset because if they did not want me to return then it could of been stated. That is not a suggestion that is a flat out don't bring him back. Also if there was a 10$ special handling fee then why couldn't I have paid that ? Instead I was told don't come back. I am very hurt and disappointed that a company I have always used would tell me take my business somewhere else. My dog had been to four locations without me ever being told such a thing. I do believe that this location is not properly trained in handling dogs and speaking with coustomers. A suggestion is a helpful hint or option. The Simpsonville store is horrible. I went one time because I happened to be on that side of town. I didn't know if anyone was even working because there was no one in site. My husband who was with me used the rest room and said there was urine all over the floor and there was a tick crawling on the floor as well. I'll never go back there. So gross. read more

I've never seen a Petsmart so small. We really just use it for our grooming needs because it's way too small to enjoy browsing. Still, I'm glad it's here. They should consider making the whole thing a Petsmart grooming salon. Rachel is a fantastic groomer! read more

Small location but still has the selection and prices I'm looking for. Always has the wet and dry food in stock for my diabetic cat, along with the litter he uses. Great service and knowledgable staff. So thankful I don't have to fight woodruff traffic anymore to get quality pet supplies. Keep up the good work! read more

For Boarding - it is the BEST --- why? They have someone there in attendance 24/7. There is someone there with the dogs all night long. NO OTHER Boarding Place can boast that, not even the Vet Hospitals. The only downside is that it basically is the only PetSmart Hotel in the state of SC - so it is basically too crowded. They know our dogs very well and are always excited to see them when we drop them off. More importantly, our dogs are always happy and playful when we pick them up, which had not always been the case when we had them at other Boarding Places. read more

I came in on Thursday afternoon to get my dog nails clipped. Let me start off by saying that the cashier (red hair) was sucking on a lollipop right there at the register like is that allowed? That's just weird. Anyways back to my review with the store being close to Walmart I planned on just picking up some cheese so I asked the women would it be long because I wanted to run to Walmart to get something. Then she got an attitude saying it wouldn't be long but turns out I still waited over ten minutes so I would consider that a lie. Ten minutes was more than enough time to get ONE item. Anyways during that time while my dog was in the back I decided to look around at toys etc. Finally once they brought my dog out I decided on this one toy but I wasn't finished looking . There was a display of sale toys near the register and I was kneeled down looking at the ones on the bottom and the women who was rude came up to me with this smirk on her face and raised tone and said can I help you as if I was stealing or something I was in shock! Like really you just saw me swipe my card for my dogs nails why would I steal a six dollar toy! So I just said no I wanna buy this toy so I went to the register and she rung me up after it was done she handed me the receipt looked me in the eyes with a weird crazy look and said have a good day. What a crazy women. They need to train her how to give good customer service cause it's not that hard. (I work retail I know what it's like) long story short I won't give her my business again. I followed Rachael from the Pet Smart on Woodruff Road in Greenville. Rachael does and excellent job. I have called before when i had questions and she is always very courteous and helpful. She truly loves her job and it shows. I drive way out of the way to have my dog groomed by her. I would highly recommend Rachael. read more
