Better groomers with more experience. Groomer completely scalped my Wheaten Terrier. She did not follow directions. She took my baby's innocent face and created a new type of dog. I feel so badly for her as it is winter and she must wear protective clothing as she was shaved to her skin. Please reconsider before taking your precious dog there. Takes about 35-50 rings when calling to get someone to answer so be prepared . When finally get an answer we get our dog an appointment just for nails. Bring him down . They can't do nails . 4 girls back there . There is only 1 girl on my dog while the other girls are sitting around or on their damn cell phone . The one girl obviously can't handle my dog . My dog does not like getting his nails done but when there is team work they can get the nails done . My dog ends up falling off the table and the other girl realizes oh she may need help??? Get my dog back bleeding and limping . Nails not even done properly. This place seems to hire anyone with out good background or credentials. Piss all in the isles. They don't clean . We've had our Cavachon here a few times to be groomed and they have always done an excellent job. The staff is very friendly and does an excellent job. They truly seem to care about your dog. read more

went in to do a return from an online order and the cashier had no idea of what she was doing. we showed her the entire order from the Petco account and she still did nothing . came home and called Petco corporate and they could not understand why she did what she did and then refunded us . We will now donate to a shelter Will not order again from Petsmart. read more

Today I had an appointment for my dog to have a nail trim, shampoo and brush out (that's a package that they have). I arrived and no one was there. I waited and waited. After 15 minutes I finally asked a cashier in the main store if anyone was in the grooming salon, and someone who had been walking around the store showed up, then a number of other people showed up and suddenly there were three or four people. When I mentioned having waited 15 minutes they explained that they had been in the back with their manager. Perhaps they thought tending to their own business instead of being available on time for my appointment was a good thing to say to me. Then they started to take my dog back and I mentioned that she had some matting under her collar. Usually I brush it out myself but I thought that was not needed since they were going to do a brush out after shampooing. They explained how they didn't brush out matting -- for the health of the dog. Then they explained it again at least four more times until I finally lost patience with them telling me what they couldn't do. Then they got upset with me because I was upset with them. I'm thinking, hey, I waited for you for 15 minutes, didn't get an apology, and then you tell me over and over what you can not do. What does "brush out" mean if it isn't brushing out some matting under her collar? Horrible customer service and I'm done. Won't go back there ever again. read more

Overall, Petsmart in Rehoboth Beach is a really great store. They are always well stocked. The store is clean and neat. The employees are very kind and helpful. Groomers are great. read more

Last time I was in the groomer shaved my West Highland terrier between his eyes and he looked ridiculous for about a month today I had an appointment with Malia, but because someone else was out my appointment was canceled. I don't know what happened to Petsmart in Delaware, but it has gone downhill used to be so good. read more

We walked in the Rehoboth location on a tuesday evening with our mini golden doodle. The store was very quiet. We shopped around and picked out our treats. We realized they had a training class going on. Those opups seemed happy! We shopped, during checkout we registered for the store card for discounts. We will go back as we had a pleasant experience. read more

this is the second time this store has turned my dog away for grooming. He's very large and anxious, but kind and loving. They use different excuses, today was that he was stressed and scared. They have known my dog for nearly a year and this is his behavior all the time, like most dogs about to be groomed. They don't want to deal with him because he is large. I am disgusted and tired of dealing with them. I will be letting the store franchise owner know, as well as anyone else who brings up their pets, not to waste their time on this location. Their slogan on the phone is "we do anything for pets." I guess by that you mean you turn them away when they are scared. Disappointed and disgusted in Rehoboth. read more

I think the staff is very inexperienced. They were not able to complete grooming for various reasons like toe nail's too long, paws matted and eyes are red. But I've been taking my dog to them and paying for services like toe nail clipping every time my dog is groomed. I took my dog to the vet to get her toe nails clipped and she said the grooming salon had not been clipping my dogs nails!! read more

They advertised a pet shot clinic at 3pm on a Saturday 35 people in line with there pets,no one showed up and store associates had no clue what was going on. read more

Nothing like standing in the fish section waiting for 15 min only to be told the "fish department" is closed with 20 min left before closing. I asked for one fish dude. And I had another $50 worth of stuff in my hands. Bye PetSmart Rehoboth. Store was empty, I guess they don't train for sales. Rude and liars. I went 10 min late to my dog's grooming appointment, the lady told me they can't take the dog because I'm late and they're busy! I asked why they didn't call to let me know that they're busy before coming, she said that they tried to call me many times. She is a liar. I only got 1 phone call from the store with a voicemail saying that this is a reminder about my appointment and if no changes or cancellation, no need to call them back. So she started making up other new excuses. After looking at the dog and couldn't find any matting in his body, she turned one of his ears and showed me a tiny matt, saying that she can't bath him with this matt because it's a liability on the store. I guess if they overbooked themselves one day, they can just call the people before going to the store and ask them to reschedule rather than being rude and making up nonsense excuses. And if you called "many times" as alleged and none picks up, you can leave a voicemail. read more

Manager was rude and would not look me in the eye as I was speaking with her. It was like pulling teeth to get information about pet salon. I also tried calling four different times throughout the day to talk to an employee. No one seems to know how to answer a phone. Hours on incorrect on automated phone call about Salon hours. I won't be going back to this store. read more
