    Not afraid of the groomers
    Heather A.

Took my lil babe to the groomers for the scoot solution only $12. My dog doesn't mind his ears mouth and feet being touched too much, he's only been to one other groomer. He seemed nervous at first but the tech pulled out their sweet voice and gave him all the scratches so he was happy to go back. They brought him out quickly & put cologne on him to help with the smell. Super effective and easy to get this task done when it needs to be done:

Honestly I'm so irritated, we come to this location ALLLLL the time and we always buy the upgrade. I LITERALLY HAD MY LIL BROTHER call me when he was at the grooming salon and I talked to Brianne who was our groomer to tell her to NOT MAKE CHLOE LOOK LIKE A POODLE!!!! MORE LIKE A TEDDY! I just got home this morning and see my dog look exactly like a rat, I know she was matted but her face wasn't, and I said rounded face, put notes in the check-in section and had a phone call and verbal agreement with the salon, like WTF seriously why the heck did I waste $100 plus for my dog to look like a rat? Now I know why the rating for this place is so terrible, I just don't get it, if you don't have the skills or talent to do what a client asks, maybe be honest and tell the client? But where's the miscommunication? Should I speak another language maybe you guys will understand it better? Pleassseee have a manager contact me, (that probably will never happen either

Thank you Alyssa Slaten for taking good care of Peanut Buttercup almost 16 years old on Christmas Day now

Bed shave on his face it's very uneven and it's bleeding in spots

I took my 13 year-old miniature poodle that is blind and deaf to be groomed and trimmed when I picked him up they were still working on him after 4 hours. They cut his nose and his eyes and he bled for 2 days. It looks horrible. They did a horrible horrible job when I told them I was unhappy they said that they would give me 10% off next service, but I will never be going back. They cut his skin they just they really hurt him and I think it was really wrong. I have pictures to show it and I really don't think that anybody should go there. They're very unprofessional and did a rotten job. they charge me extra because they said that he was hard to handle. He's very mellow and quiet. I sat and watched them trim him, and he was not giving them a problem at all. He's very small and he's very gentle. $72 to give him a bath and a clip and it was poorly done and they hurt him. I did not recommend them to anyone.

If you're gonna go anywhere for grooming, come to DAVID. He is the absolute best!! I'm definitely a protective parent when it comes to my pup but from the start, I knew I could trust David. He went slow and was so gentle with my Cricket girl. Will definitely be coming back and requesting him. While Cricket was getting groomed, I spent close to an hour trying to figure out a new dog food. For the last year and a half, I've been trying to find a brand my dog will actually go for. Justin, the manager, had a ton of helpful info when picking out what was best. He walked me through different brands and sure enough, I added in a little NaturalPet stew to my dogs food when we got home and she finished EVERYTHING. Really appreciated Justin's time and David's grooming service.

I'm in need of a haircut in this pic and don't know WHY my mom insists on showing it

Clean store, both visually and in smell. Literally saw a customer pick up after their dog! (I make this point because unfortunately I've also seen the opposite ‍‍) Received GREAT customer service from Justin, helping me find dog food. He was both friendly and helpful! Which is always a plus seeing as how most people act like you're bothering them with questions even though they work retail ‍‍ Anyhow, lemme step down off of my lil soap box Both Justin and I believe the cashier named was Daniel (but don't quote me on it!) gave service with a smile. It's been too long since I've had my pooch groomed here too give an up to date review, BUT (you thought I'd have nothing to say huh?! THINK AGAIN ) when I used to bring my pooch here, I had NO PROBLEMS! The groomers were also friendly and helpful. They would explain the cuts and why a service would or would not be recommended and then let the decision be yours. Some things I didn't know and with their help and knowledge I've been able to be an even better dog mom! In short, (I laugh every time I say that! I'm NEVER short on words or opinions ‍) I would recommend this store to family & friends. They get 5 stars from me today

The nicked/cut on his belly and irritation/reaction on his balls. The ball area turned very red hours after this picture.

Do not bring your pets here for grooming. Our dog got nicked near his belly close to his genitals like a cut and his balls were reddish/irritated like the looks from shaving. At night, it turned pink to dark red. Upon picking up our dog, we were told about his accident and they didn't even call us to tell us what happened until we got there. We waited about another 2 hours by Banfield hospital to what they described as "not serious" to only find out hours later how awful our dog looked. He came out with a cone because they applied glue to his cut wound and he had to take prescribed medicine. From what was a 3-4 hour groom turned to 7-8 hours of tragedy and anxiety for us and our dog. He looked so tired and confused when he was returned to us. We are not coming back here. I am upset with the both parties' lack of communication, honesty, and seriousness of this matter. I understand that accidents happen but no manager came to deal with this matter with us and their sense of urgency or lack of remorse was upsetting.

That's capybara we love him as a new family member

Testimonial for Allie owner of Rogue K9 Academy - A Life-Changing Experience…read more My in person experience with Rogue K9 Academy has been nothing short of exceptional--truly rewarding and life-changing for both my girls, Kat and Athena, and for me. Both of my dogs are Belgian Malinois rescues: Kat was adopted at around 8 months old, and Athena came to me at just 8 weeks. Before finding Rogue K9, I worked with two different trainers who both immediately resorted to using e-collars--without any foundational training. Kat, who had already endured a difficult time in the shelter, became compliant but fearful. I was told more than once that because of her history, Kat wouldn't be able to achieve much and would be difficult to train. It was heartbreaking to see training become something she feared. Everything changed when I found Rogue K9 Academy. To my relief, we didn't start with an e-collar. Instead, I was introduced to the Foundation Style Dog Training (FSDT) program. This method allows training to focus on building a strong, trusting relationship first and gradually working up from basic obedience to advanced skills. Through this program, not only did my dogs gain confidence, but I learned how to understand them better--especially Kat. Slowly but surely, my girls began to flourish. It brings me overwhelming joy to see how much they've grown--not just in their skills but in their overall happiness and confidence. Perhaps the most incredible part of our journey is that Kat, once thought to be untrainable and "too damaged" to succeed, is now a trained protection dog. I am forever grateful to Rogue K9 Academy for their guidance that helped me build a deep, trusting bond with my girls that I never imagined possible.

When I adopted my 3-year-old adult Akita- Belgian Malinois mix, she had many behavioral issues…read more In particular, she was terrified to go on walks or interact with people. I was at a loss on how to help her overcome her fears. So, I sought out dog trainers in my area. I settled on Allie McCain and her ROGUE K9 ACADEMY, as I liked what people had written about her helping them with their dogs that had behavioral problems. Allie explained that to be successful, she would train and coach me on how to train and handle my dog (Named "Hope") so that Hope responds to me and my commands. She demonstrated incredible patience as Hope was so terrified of nearly all external stimuli. As our training progressed, I could see how Allie's training methods were freeing my dog from her fears. As a result of a commitment by Allie and myself to work on what was best for Hope, I now have a very confident and well-behaved pet. As a bonus, Allie even taught Hope to swim and "fetch" from the pool, which Hope now loves to do! If you are looking for a competent trainer that delivers results in a humane way, look no further than Allie.

One thing I'm most thankful for this Thanksgiving is Sogand!! She is amazing. We didn't know what…read moreto do or who to turn to with our dog Clyde. He was usually good with people but super reactive with other dogs and animals. We got him as a puppy, he was always super high energy and reactive, even to animals on TV. We had to always try to walk him where there were no dogs or people. This past summer we went on vacation and our oldest son was watching him. He took Clyde on a walk when they saw another dog across the street, Clyde went crazy, started barking and lunging for the dog. My son got in front of him and Clyde ended up biting him several times. When we found out about the incident on vacation we had no idea what to do. We thought we had to give him up, it broke our hearts. Then I found Sogand when I was searching for trainers and options. Her reviews were great, but what sold us was our first conversation with her. We had talked to several other trainers during our initial search but no one gave us hope yet realistically assessed where Clyde was like Sogand. We were at the airport waiting to board our flight home. I'll never forget our first conversation with her. She patiently listened to us and then reassured us that Clyde was not a lost cause. She was direct and honest about her approach, and confidently said she could help Clyde. From our first session with her we knew we had made the right decision. She commanded obedience from Clyde like he had been her dog his whole life. Within 10 mins, she had him interacting with her dog and not going ballistic. This has never happened before. We have had to avoid other dogs all the time. In this first session she was able to assess several of Clyde's bad behavior and patterns and correct it. Because of the severity of his behavior and having bit our son so badly, she recommended we do the board and train for intense training. This was the best decision we ever made. Clyde came back a changed dog, and more importantly she trained us in how to train Clyde. With her help we have been able to keep up Clyde's training. We still meet with her for one on one sessions once a month to complete Clyde's trainings. The best result came yesterday at Thanksgiving, we had 22 guests and one other dog. I texted Sogand and she gave us guidance on how to handle the the event with Clyde. We followed her instructions and Clyde did amazing. People who have known Clyde said he was like a different dog. I can't recommends her enough! Her approach was just what we needed. She doesn't just train dogs, she becomes an integral part of the dog and owner's life and journey. Because of Sogand, Clyde has a new lease on life and we are able to keep our beloved dog without always fearing that something horrible will happen!!!

We chose her 2 week board and train - aggression rehabilitation service, after a week her and her staff noticed my dog still being very aggressive in protecting his food bowl and she extended his training another week (no extra charge!) so she could really focus on that aspect to make sure Dumpling's aggression was addressed. Wife and I also highly recommend her private sessions after the board and train. 2-3 weeks is definitely not enough time to make sure behavior issues are completely addressed, so her sessions helped make sure we properly did our daily trainings with Dumping. Her sessions also evolved the trainings we did at home as our dog's aggression level kept going down and focus on his high alert/anxiety responses to stimuli, and try to help him associate his dopamine response to being relaxed. She also helped identify a food allergy that made him itchy, which added to his higher anxiety level. All these things added up and now our dog is a lot happier and hasn't displayed a snarl or showed his teeth in anger to anyone or any dogs in months! Thanks Sogi for helping Dumpling and us and hope this review helps others choose you over other trainers out there for their dogs.
