I have taken him to daycare, boarding, daycare and train, Group Classes and Private classes and don't have a single complaint about any of my experiences. Good Dog Staff are very patient and kind and don't hesitate to go the extra mile when you have questions or concerns. I love that there are a variety of trainers with different approaches but they are all still very patient and positive. It's easy to get frustrated sometimes when training a high strung puppy with a short attention span but I never saw them lose their patience with either of us and they never minded staying a little bit late to address any concerns or questions I had :) I have done the Puppy and Adolescent classes so far and plan on taking them all eventually. I feel that the price is very reasonable considering the quality of training you receive. (High Quality IMO!) If I could do a private lesson every week, I would and it would be worth it! Ace and I have gained so much from the GD trainers and I can't thank them enough. During Daycare and train i received daily 'report cards' on Ace's progress and I always enjoy seeing the daily pictures that are posted on Facebook of all the dogs playing and enjoying each others company. I know that all of the staff is knowledgeable on pack interaction and that Ace is monitored to ensure he is playing appropriately (He sometimes mounts other dogs). They don't ignore problem behavior and they inform me of any concerns upon pick up each day. Last time he went for boarding they noticed he had a puncture on his face (I believe from one of my other dogs) and they went ahead and cleaned it and applied ointment which I SO appreciated. They also sent me an email to make sure I was aware (I had been but it had opened up during play and had been bleeding again) which I know not everyone would do!

We met Jeff for our FREE consult. He greeted us with his own dog. Who put ours to shame. Lol. Jeff then explained his program to us. We were taken back by the fact that he used e-collars, as we weren't aware beforehand. HOWEVER, he was very straightforward with us and explained how it worked and how it is used as a training tool and not as punishment, and showed us it wouldn't hurt our dog. He was very professional and friendly. I laughed when he said that if we followed his program properly we could have a dog just like his. Now about 6 months into the program.. our pup is doing off leash work and we can actually believe that one day she can be just as well trained. Long story short: Jeff and Staff are all wonderful and knowledgeable. They are attentive and friendly and make you feel welcome every class. Regardless of the few negative reviews, Jeff is kind, professional, knowledgeable, and straight forward. He is always welcoming and makes a point of saying hi to you and your dog every class. I was bussing from Maple Ridge to Metrotown, and she not only met me at a sky train location (so it was easier for me to drop my dog off), but also met me at another sky train location to give me back my dog. She sent me photos of Tucker, my pup throughout the day, and when I got him back at the end of my day, he was exhausted (HOW I LIKE HIM!). Unfortunately our senior dogs spent 7 hours at dapper for grooming, due to " scheduling issues"…read more After 4 hours and no pick up call, we phoned, could not get an answer so had to drive go back to dapper. Unfortunately the dogs were mid process on grooming so we had to leave them. Our dogs are 13 & 11 and one is blind. We received NO calls from staff advisng of the delay or asking us if we wanted to reschedule. We were shocked to say the least. When we picked them up we asked to speak to a manager/owner and were told no one was on site. We eventually received a call back from the owner who blamed the "young" staff & the computer notes not being read. Please be careful going to dapper as there's no level of responsibility by the owners, she never asked if the dogs were ok, there was no follow up call & no responsibility taken. In over 20 years of owning dogs it has never taken over 4 hours for grooming services. Again, be careful.

Unfortunately, my dog felt uncomfortable because after a few visits she started having adverse reactions to even me brushing her which she never had with our previous groomer. I reached out to Shelly and she told me she has been putting a muzzle on my dog and that she couldn't groom her without her trying to bite which she never communicated with me or my husband when we first dropped our dog off with her. Usually that would be something you tell a dog owner after a groom. Now my dog is scared to even get brushed which I was able to do almost everyday before taking her there. Shelley is kind but unfortunately my dog didn't feel comfortable going there.
