She never apologized for being late acting like I was the one late and everything is ok that is not so professional. I brought my dog in to get groomed and since I just moved here I booked with a different location and did not realize. The groomer was able to get my dog in anyway and was incredibly helpful and nice. Annette did a great job on my Pomeranian, probably better than he has ever been cut. We made an appointment 7 weeks ago, on Petsmart's website, for our dog to be groomed at the American Fork store. The night before his appointment, they called us and left a message that they had booked him with a groomer that cannot take dogs over 25 lbs; my dog weighs 30 lbs. When I called them back the next morning they said that they could not get him in to be groomed for another 3 weeks. This was not my mistake, but apparently they can't fix their own problems. I did not appreciate the fact that they couldn't call me when the problem occurred 7 weeks ago, but I got an email and a text with in 45 seconds of my phone call for the cancellation of his appointment. This is actually two reviews in one. The first time we took our dog to Petsmart on Abercorn we were thrilled. He's a little Sheltie with a silky long double coat and when we picked him up he was so soft and clean and tangle free. However...this past Monday I paid for the same services, tipped the groomer (a different one than the first time), took him home and he still smelled doggy and still had mats and his nails were trimmed but not the hair on his feet or around his pads and his hygienic trim was not done. Am I wrong to expect a clean smelling, tangle free coat and the trims that are included in the package for $50 + a tip? read more

I have taken my bernedoodle to several different Pet Smart Groomer locations with the attempt to get better grooming to no avail. They charge me $70.00 for a wash and blow dry, nail trim and what is supposed to be a ear clean and pluck. Consistently Ive had to return my dog to the salon for them to clean her ears. They just dont do it at all or properly. It is such a simple task. I am now fed up and just tired of asking for the same thing over and over. I could easily take a washcloth and wipe out her ears from the dirt and debrie. They need better dog grooming training for their staff. read more

Terrible experience! Dogs treated like objects on an assembly line and roughly handled. Dogs howling from kennels in the "staff only" area. I paid $81.00 and when I picked up my dog, she needed add'l grooming, which I demanded they do on the spot. When I returned home, she needed add'l clipping. A very sloppy job! This PetSmart is clean and well kept. It's decently sized and all the employees I encountered here were friendly. I came here for a kitty harness and leash and was able to find the perfect one for my cat right away. They have a good selection of cat treats such as the freeze dried shrimp/chicken. I mostly only come to PetSmart for the blue buffalo cat food or canned wellness cat food. They have a variety of cat toys here but they seem a bit overpriced. Overall, this is a well kept PetSmart with a good variety of products and nice employees. They have many gerbils and hamsters along with a whole aquarium section. read more

This store offers the super store variety with the smaller. neighborhood store service. When it comes to pet stuff searching- I am usually wandering around the aisles looking clueless and here, someone kind and courteous and helpful usually finds me and points me in the right direction. Become a member for decent savings and discount offers. The grooming area looked very clean - totally open and friendly - worth a look (finding a trusted groomer is hard!) I've gone to the other pet super stores and the smaller Pet Supplies Plus near me- I like this PetSmart the best for the selection, value and very friendly service. Today I paid for a special package to have my little rat terrier bathed and brushed for hair removal. When I picked her up she was still damp from the shampoo, and I noticed there was some loose hair around her face. When I ran my hand over her a lot of hair flew. I took a grooming brush when I got home the floor was quickly covered in hair. I don't believe she was brushed. I have had other groomers do the same process, there is a little loose hair when they finish but only a little. I won't be going back. read more

I've been shopping here for years. Both of my dogs have been coming here for years as well. Fish department: have to give it to them because they've recently redone all of the tanks and they look a lot better. The fish sales are pretty good compared to Petsmart. But I guess that also depends on what your looking for. They don't have a big exotic selection. Overall store: very clean. Everything is really easy to find. Sales are hit or miss. There is always something on sale; just depends if it's what your looking for. Staff: the staff is hit or miss. I feel this is really normal for a pet store though. The older staff is more helpful and friendlier compared to the younger staff. Overall, no complaints. Grooming: ok so if your like me, your pets are your children. Just like when your drop your baby off at day care ... We get emotional and concerned when we drop our babies off for grooming. Overall most of the staff is awesome in the grooming dept. I've sat in there and waited, watching them groom difficult and stubborn pets and man they have patience! My favorite is Kristen! She is the only one I let handle my babies! She is so kind to them and takes her time. Although I'm sure by the time she sees them she is really ready to get through the rest of her day and they are just another dog, but she never make me or them feel like that. I love her for that! PetSmart Grooming- dulles landing VA. I was so excited to have this PetSmart close by with a grooming saloon, but not worth it at all. Do not go to this location to get your dog groomed!! I've taken my dog to couple of different places for grooming but never had this kind of experience. First of all it was hard to get an appointment when I needed, after long wait finally I got an appointment due to one cancellation. I got so excited and took my doodle for her appointment next day. When I walked in the groomerJennifer.w checked my puppy and said there are no other problems but she will have to charge extra for the special shampoo since the puppy has some matting and also for the nails and plucking hair from her ears, on top of full package price and will let us know if there would be any extra charges when we pick the puppy up . She charged us double the price, since my pup really needed the bath and haircut so I didn't argue and agreed to pay hoping to see my puppy will come out looking clean and beautiful with everything taken care of. I gave her special instructions and told her to keep my puppy's hair longer at least an inch or more. When I went to pick up my puppy, I was very disappointed, sad, mad and frustrated to see my puppy completely shaved, hair on her ears where completely shortened she looked horrible and different like a sick puppy, groomer Jennifer didn't even shave her evenly, her coat looked so terrible and bumpy, neck area, behind the ears was completely shaved like no hair, two back legs looked slimmer then the front legs due to uneven shave. I wish I would have never taken her here. After paying double the price I had terrible experience. My black lab got her nails grinded on Christmas Eve- I wish I remembered the name of the groomer, but she had long black hair. She did SUCH AN INCREDIBLE JOB!!!!! My dog is usually impossible to hold still and her nails are so long. She got them so short and dull but didn't cut into her quicks, which with black nails is nearly impossible to do. Today I had a terrible experience at PetSmart. I have been using PetSmart for years to groom my dogs, buy my dogs food and toys and Banfield as their Vet. On my way into the groomers this morning with my Yorkie and Maltese my son got the two dogs tangled in the leash I reached in from behind to help and my little Yorkie got spooked and nipped me. He does not bite ever. He does not have a history prof biting. This was an isolated incident and my fault really because I startled him. Anyway we walk in to Petsmart and I had a little tiny scrape and asked the lady for a napkin. She then said your dog bit you! I said he didn't mean it. It was an accident I startled him as he was getting in the car. She went on to ignore what I just said and went on to say if my dog is a biter he can not get groomed. This woman Ana at the Plantation store went to the other girls and said her dog bites. So at this time I raised my voice and said I told you my dog DOES NOT BITE HE US 6 lbs enough!! An proceeded to check me in. As I handed her my dog she said to my dog oh this is the one that bites you better not bite me !! It was truly infuriating!! My 12 year old and I walked out and my son said WOW mom she is going to make an issue don't you think??? That was my son's perception. Not even 5 minutes later as we got on the road Ana called and said I had to come pick up my dog because it bit her!!! This was completely fabricated. The manager got on the phone and they refused to take care of my dog and I assure you that my dog did not bite this woman. I will no longer be taking my business to this place again. Ana has absolutely no business being around pets. She should not be working as a dog groomer or in any customer facing service. read more

I placed an online order on March 21, for a same day delivery for three bags of dog food. There was no issues, I picked my preferred time, and payment went through. I receive an email later on stating that they wouldn't deliver until March 22, between 7 and 10pm. I wasn't happy , as my dogs didn't have food. But at the time also understood delivery services can be busy . I wait around all night for this food and nothing shows up. First thing in the morning, on the 23rd I call PetSmart, and explain the situation. The manager on duty did not try to rectify the situation in the slightest. She blamed door dash and there was nothing she could do other then call them and they would "try" to deliver it today. I already fed my dog chicken and rice of my own food the previous day, and there is no way I was going to wait around all day for a possibility. I work in customer service, in the retail industry, and i am in absolute shock at the lack of care a company can have for their customers. This is YOUR product and you choose to have a delivery company handle it. In no way is the issue on them at this moment, and the manager did nothing but deflect. She is 11 years old and has been to petco and paws for purrs in worse conditions to be honest. Had a terrible experience at the PetSmart Groomers in Greeley CO. Our dog must have been treated terribly while there. He has always been groomed by them and had good experiences until our last experience. His behavior was strange when I picked him up- the groomer was extremely rude when I picked him. About a month later I had to take him in for a vet appointment at the same location- he has always been fine going- this morning he panicked when they tried to take him to the back. I will not be taking him back to the Greeley location and may have to find a new vet as well because of the experience that obviously traumatized him. read more

They said that a fresh long cut on the back of her leg was there when she got there... I tried to take my elderly dog in (12 year old dachsund) and was turned down becuase I did not have a paper that had her proof of rabies vaccine. The groomer took one look at my dogs old apperance and tumor and gave me a very mean look. My dog had her nails trimmed a month before this with no problem. I also know of the Petsmart in Belden Village trimming dogs nails without proof of vaccine just with a muzzle on the dog. I had two appointments at PETSMART in Sunrise. My dog had a rabies shot the morning of the appointment and was informed later at the store that I had to wait 48 hours before grooming. Not a problem but I should have been advised of that prior to the appointment. The appointment was rescheduled online for the following week for 12pm on Thursday and I received an appt. confirmation from PETSMART. I arrived at the store at 11:45am and was told that the groomer would not be there until 12:30pm and I had to wait 45 minutes. The receptionist didn't seem to care that I had a confirmed appt. Rudeness doesn't work with me and I left the store at 11:50am.The receptionist didn't even try to offer an apology for the inconvenience as she didn't care.
