Brought my 2 year old American Bully in for a grooming and it went well. It was her first time there so she was a bit nervous with the door closing behind us. I'll probably bring a treat next time as I drop her off so it'll ease her nerves. But they were pretty packed for a Tuesday afternoon. They only allow one pet family in the grooming area at a time so it can get a little crowded and unorganized when a bunch of people come in waiting to check their pet in and have to find spots to gather outside the door. The grooming door is next to the front entrance so it can get busy right there. The door says they close at 9pm but the groomers informed me they close at 5pm. COVID hours I assume... One of the ladies told me if they don't call me when my dog is ready just come before 5pm, and sure enough they really didn't call. Arriving around 5pm, I was confused if I should pay first or pick her up then pay. You get the receipt from the groomer, then go to the register then back into the groomer area to get your pet. It's not a hard system but can take a little bit of time when you consider having to wait for other people to go in and out of the grooming area since only one person is allowed. Not too big of a deal cause yeah we want everyone to be safe but I'd just account for the extra time if you intend to go somewhere after. Great news though, they have a $15 off coupon for first timers located by the groomers front desk. That helped a lot. My baby girl was bathed and beautiful. Her nails were nicely filed as well. read more

I brought my little dog twice at doggy day care and camp, until I found out that if they didn't have enough smaller dogs they just put the little ones in with the big dog! One of the big dogs was a Great Dane. are you people kidding? They need to hire a grownup to run the place. read more

We always take our dog here for grooming. This past time they messed up their scheduling and bumped us twice. To be fair their manager gave us a 20% discount for the inconvenience. They did an excellent groom and my dog looks great. The problem is that he had not stopped scratching and shaking since he had returned home. Both my wife and I have bites since he was at Pet Smart. My dog takes a monthly pill to prevent any fleas. These bites are unusual and I don't believe in coincidence. Sorry but ALL points to Pet Smart for this infestation problem. We will begin to look to another groomer. read more

In this location they have a Pet Hotel, pet boarding and Doggie Day Camp. I'm sure they offer other services but these are the only ones I've used. In Doggie Day Camp up to 16 dogs can play in an enclosed room and are closely monitored by a staff member. There is even a floor to ceiling window so you can watch them play and cavort. We have a soft coated wheaten terrier (Leia), that is not just a pet but a member of the family. We tried day camp and boarding at other facilities but for one reason or another my wife and I just weren't happy with them. We found this location about six months ago and Leia has been going to camp at least two days a week and has spent the night a couple of times. Couldn't be more happy! The staff is always fantastic, kind, helpful and caring and Leia LOVES them! read more

I've been going to this location for over 5 years. I've even used the exact same groomer, but no more. Lately, I have seen service become more and more subpar. Twice now my dog has received clipper burn and this last time not only was it right on his neck, but he got a really bad infection from it. This cost me $110 out of pocket to pay for his check-up and the medication to clear it. He was in a significant amount of pain and couldn't even eat or drink for two days.I tried to contact customer service but never received a reply, even though I was promised one. Additionally, more than once I've been booked and then the groomer had to squeeze me in because it was not in their schedule. Each time I go I drive out of my way. All that said, I will never use a Petsmart again, even for basic supplies. They clearly do not care about pets there and I hate that my baby had to suffer simply because someone was rushed to do their job. read more

But when I have an appointment at 1:30, arrive on time and am forced to stand outside of the door bc Karen is talking to the associate for SO long about her Pomeranian's bath and not ONE person is going to acknowledge my presence - for example "we'll be right with you" "sorry about the wait" ... I like that they have an area outside for dogs to use the restroom. They often have dogs from the animal shelter there to adopt. I'm all for having that and what better place then a pet store; however, I don't care for it being right when you walk in because it's so loud with so much barking. Would be 0 stars but that's not an option. We waited for 20 mins for an employee to help us get a hamster and nothing. Asked at the register twice. He radioed twice. The manager walked right past us and as we tried to approach her she walked in the back room. We had at least 30$ worth of product and the hamster was going to be another 15$. We left it all there. I tired this place because a coupon came in the mail, so I took my doodle to get a bath.once you arrive they do a evaluation on your dog to make sure they are not matting ect. During the evolution they said everything was good only a standard brunch that come with the bath would be necessary. But once they called me to let me know my doodle was done they added a de mating fee which was not discuss during the evaluation. I would NOT bring my dog here again not only poor customer service but also my dog ears were still dirty and I noticed a rash on paw when I got home. read more

Went to make my Siberian husky to get his monthly groom on December 20, 2020 and I had one of the last appointments at 4:30pm ( store closes at 8pm ). He went in for a tight trim, nails trim and a teeth cleaning . I received Him ( 3 hours later, it usually takes way longer ) It felt like they just rushed and didn't take their time with him at all. He was still damp from getting a bath and he was not trimmed around his ears or anything. It was a nice associate but it was very rushed and to pay 105 was definitely not worth it. read more

Horrible experience! Will NEVER buy anything from this store or let them look after my babies again! Left our babies, boxer and English bulldog, Thursday morning till Sunday afternoon. Upon arriving, we noticed the babies were coughing and not acting like themselves. They had barely eaten any food we had provided. They would not eat or drink when we got home. First thing this morning we took them to the vet. $600 later they have either kennel cough or cannin influenza. We opted not to pay another 500 to find out which one. I called the store and they said no other dogs were sick! I find that HIGHLY unlikely considering the condition our babies were in when we picked them up. On Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena, TX I have taken my 3 lb. Yorkie to this grooming salon to the same person for over 8 years. My regular groomer (and salon manager) is out on maternity leave for several months. I requested someone who knew how to groom a Yorkie as they are very timid and nervous dogs. I was given SHAE/SHAY. I explained to her that my dog was a very timid and scared Yorkie and treat her with kindness. When I picked her up, she did not have her usual haircut that I confirmed with them and did not smell as if she had even been shampooed. After paying $45 for the above, the groomer SHAE/SHAY told me that my dog could not 'stand' for grooming and I'd have to have her groomed by a vet in the future - which I told her "BS" and I never had that problem with my regular groomer. In fact, she gets "excellent" report cards each time I take her. I walked outside and another customer had taken pictures of my little Yorkie standing on the grooming table for over an hour and 1/2. Said all the groomers chatted and left the dogs on the table alone while doing so with a neck harness where they can't sit down. I witnessed this myself with other dogs. She saw them grab her by the hind legs and pick her up to groom her underneath. Bottom line - if you use SHAE/SHAY then rethink it! She was very rude and does not know how to handle your PET. read more

We took my dog into the Fairmont location for a grooming appointment, I called this morning and they were able to fit him in the same day at 2pm! A girl by the name of Clarissa was his groomer for the day, she was great! My son dropped him off and when I called to check on him she let me know what was going on and when I could expect he be done, she followed up with a call letting me know he would be ready a little later than expected and everything. My son picked him up and when he got home with Hudson his hair cut was great!!! She did a outstanding job on him and I am extremely pleased. Petsmart, is petsmart. They have the majority of pet supplies you need. However, their staff is uneducated and offered me unsolicited, incorrect advise on feeding bearded dragons. They were out of super worms today, so the guy offered me meal worms. I told him I am feeding a bearded dragon and I can't feed her those since the exo skeleton is too thick for a beardie to digest. I would rather get crickets until they have super worms in stock. He went on to tell me that they were the same bug, super worms are just larger. I tried to tell him that no, in fact they are not and meal worms should not be fed to a bearded dragon. He just went on to say, yes they are, Google it. So, for anyone needing reptile advise, DO NOT ASK THEM!!!!! read more

He helped me decide which size and brand of kennel I needed to purchase and had no problem with me doing a price match. We also carried it to the register and again to the car after purchase. Our puppy has been at Doggy Day Camp at this location 4 times now. We just set him up to go every Saturday. The place is clean and the staff is friendly.
