And i called for help at the cricket area where another associate asked if I needed help I told her yes and she proceeded to stock a shelf and did not help me. wild because I usually only have issues with the cashier, the older lady has been here as long as I've been coming to this store and I come weekly. I'm honestly tired of having to deal with her and her crappy attitude but petcos bugs are always dead. I'm just going to order online through other stores for dog food, cat food, fish supplies and bearded dragon care because waiting for delivery and lost packages seems way better than having to go another week with someone else's awful attitude ruining the day. read more

Elite PetSmart! Store is well managed and not short-handed as is typical these days. Aisles properly stocked, clean and organized. They sell and adopt healthier, happier, friendlier, even higher quality animals than other city pet stores (especially Petco). Animals are properly cared for, fed and healthy, even watched over by a vet. No diseased or stressed animals. Cages and aquariums always clean. We are still very grateful for Chester Copperpot our Syrian hamster and treasured family member. Because they do so much right expect more foot traffic, waits and lines. Sometimes they'll even sell out of certain items and critters. Just be a little patient as they restock frequently. Most of all I love the staff here. Kayla is the dog whisperer. I picked up a rescue dog who was half feral and slipped the sleep leash. We had to block the door, but a crate, etc and everyone was great. But Kayla was able to assist with this dog abs get her in the crate. They were able to put the dog abs a dolly and placed the crate in my car for a 20 hour drive. KAYLA IS AMAZING! Overall pretty terrible pet grooming experience. This place takes shortcuts and rips you off. Avoid it all costs! Here's what happened: - Walked in to get a simple puppy cleaning (shampoo, trim, some other stuff) for like $30. - Lady at the front was a bit rude, but nothing crazy. - They insisted that puppy's coat was too matted to do a scissor trim (coat wasn't very lengthy, not overly matted) - Insisted that we pay for full bath and haircut for $50. We did. - This typically takes 3-4 hours. At 3:00 pm (when we got there), they told us theybclose at 5:30 but will get puppy done before then. - I return at 5:15 and he's not done. They said it would be an extra 30 minutes (no communication or anything) despite them being closed. - At 5:45, I pick up puppy. He's been buzzed completely except the face. He does not smell like he was washed. - Basically paid $50 for a clipper buzz cut and nail trimmings. - This place takes shortcuts and rips you off. Avoid it all costs! read more

First time taking my dog to the PetSmart groomers on 63rd/May. He needed nails trimmed and is very sensitive with his paws, so I was worried how he'd react. Needless to say, I'll take him back! The groomer said she had no problems at all with him! Also, the groomer was very personable and attentive to all my questions at pickup. Nikki at OKC (63rd and May) is honestly the best groomer we've ever been to! She takes her time and does it RIGHT! I have a Samoyed, and if you know anything about their coats, you know it's not an easy task to groom! He's a long haired, double-coated, MESS! I am always impressed with Nikki's ability to get him perfectly clean, and I can tell Teddy feels so much better after his visits too. Nikki seems to genuinely care about my fur baby, and I really appreciate her kindness towards him. She's always incredibly helpful and gives great grooming advice for in between visits. Even when I dropped him off completely filthy from our hiking trip, she stepped up to the challenge and did an amazing job! read more

I have been taking my dog here to get groomed since she was a puppy at first things were always okay. Not the best cuts but nothing to complain about. Upon checking out on my last visit I realized they had cut my dogs lashes after I had requested them to not cut them. When I asked about it Rachel R came from the back with an attitude and said it was my dogs fault. I left and got over it. I scheduled a full cut for Monday the 2nd and get a call that they "need to lose my appointment" because Rachel has a weight restriction in the afternoons... seemed like bs to me. Once I end my call with them I go online to book an appointment at another store and my account had been restricted from making appointments online. Rachel R didn't like what I had to say about her work so she tried to prevent me from doing business at an other petsmart. The grooming manager obviously doesn't care about how the staff conducts business and for that I will not return. read more

We took both dogs to dog school here and it was great! They're super helpful they take the time to answer your questions after class. The classes are super affordable and very interactive. Class size was usually no more than eight dogs. Always have great promos going on if you have the perks card! Wouldn't recommend the grooming salon for the price, I'd rather give my money to someone local but maybe that's just me. This PetSmart is a good one, particularly the grooming salon. They do a terrific job grooming my Maltese, which is not the easiest dog to groom. I believe they are open until 9 pm and easy to get into. Also, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable on the products. Somehow I've never reviewed this Petsmart, which is weird. I'm going to go five stars on this deal, primarily because they are such a big supporter of the Bella Foundation's weekly adoptions. I know it benefits them as well, so hopefully it is a big win-win. Now, this also means I have to do my shopping on a different day, since I'm not allowed to be within 50 feet of any kind of adoptable terrier-mix, because Kasey says we can't have more dogs until we live on a farm. So, I come on Thursdays. But also five stars for having super knowledgeable staff, especially the gal that helps with food questions. I switched the girls food about a year ago, when Chupie moved out of puppy food and I could get them on the same formula. I can't remember the woman's name, but I had about five conversations with her on five separate visits while we figured out what would work best, and she was super patient with me, and really has a near-encyclopedic knowledge of the food they carry. However, minus a few points for birds. I like birds in the wild, but birds in cages totally freak me out. I once knew some people who kept their bird in their kitchen, suspended near their breakfast table. Which was pretty much the grossest, most disgusting thing ever. I never ate a single bite of food at their house, and eventually just stopped hanging out with them all together. But that's an aside. Now, I do not use any of their medical or grooming services and probably never will. I've read too much stuff to feel like that's a good choice. But for purchasing almost anything you need for your fur babies, good job Petsmart. Keep it up. Except Brett Michaels dog toys have gotta go, because that is like the dumbest thing I have ever heard. read more

Super knowledgable people work here. Do you need non-grain all organic food for your pet? We were introduced to their go-to person who knows everything about Blue Buffalo dog food. She gave us tips on settling their stomachs with sweet potato baby food. We asked her about crate training and she was honest in letting us know that her area of expertise was in organic food, but found someone to help with this. It almost seemed that there was an "expert" to talk to in every department. As a first time pet owner, it was a relief! Another thing I enjoy is the pet rewards -- we get discounts and coupons on really cool stuff. And if our dog doesn't enjoy his dog food, we can bring it back for a refund as long as there is a little bit of food left, not completely empty. read more

The staff who I've interacted with at this location are very nice as is the store, but this review is specifically for the dog trainer. She is very nice, well informed, and teaches in a way that is fun and easy to follow. She's have 15 or more years experience. She seems to really care for dogs and people. She spent extra time trying to help me find a harness for my tiny dog. We ended up having to use a ferret harness, but she went above a beyond. I'll take more classes with her. read more

I'm going to go with 5 stars, because this has to be the cleanest and most well-stocked Petsmart I have ever been in. On the day I visited, (I wanted a bow tie collar for my cat, Meriwether.) they were holding an adoption and if I must be honest, I almost left with a dog. Anywho, I found my collar and then proceeded to just walk around the store. I can't tell you how impressed I was with the organization of the store. The employees, who were all extremely courteous on my visit, seem to take a lot of pride in keeping the store clean and neat and it shows. I absolutely love this Petsmart! The store is always clean and stocked. Sometimes they even have reps that come in that give samples or coupons! My dog adores this place, so of course I bring her every time I go. Every staff member always stops to acknowledge her and I can tell she feels so pretty and special. She's never really let me trim her nails without a fight, so finally I gave up and brought her to the salon within Petsmart. Byrdie is now a staple here, they just love on her and I don't think she even flinches while they trim her nails. Does she let me put bows in her hair?! Nope! But she sure let's the grooming salon do it, and prances out like it's the best thing that's happened to her. I know because she tells me :) Another favorite is the treat they give at checkout. She knows to sit calmly and she will get a treat. Even when she doesn't get to go through the checkout, they will always give a treat. Good experiences make for happy doggies! read more

The employees are great, the selection is great, the care of their animals is better than any other PetSmart I've seen, and everything is easy to find. The only PetSmart I would give 5 stars. If most PetSmarts were like this one, I would be SO much happier to give them my money. Took my lil doggie here to get groomed while visiting my family over Thanksgiving. I warned them that he bites and gets aggressive but they said they were capable of handling that so I thought ... "we'll see about that" ... I was surprised not to get the usual phone call telling me that they can't groom him for his own safety .. yay! ... they did an awesome job with his face especially around the eyes and they even gave him a little bandana. Horrible service. Don't ever take your dog to be groomed here, or always plan to be a walk-in. I scheduled an appointment and nearly 6 hours later I go back and my dog still hasn't been worked on. They told me they have to take all walk-ins first and that's a "petsmart policy". Usually I'm very level headed but the fact I hadn't gotten a call and it was nearly closing time was very frustrating. Then the way the manager handled it was not customer friendly at all, basically I was in the wrong for making an appointment. Taking my business elsewhere. read more

I really enjoy this Petsmart a lot. Both of my dogs go to Banfield to stay healthy and we used to buy their food from this location(you can find a lot of food cheaper online). The workers are friendly and really do love animals. They're also super cool when Stanley(my dog) thinks the store is an extension of his backyard and poops on the floor. I dock them a star because sometimes they wouldn't have our particular dog food in stock. Other than that this is a great place and Banfield is a great place to take your pets. read more

Unfortunately my bad experiences have outweighed the good ones. This has led me to purchase my items online or from another company. The line was a litter box I was told I could bring back in 90 days by an associate. When I brought it back, I was told 60 days (missed by 5 days) and the manager just looking at me laughing saying sorry. 60 days we can't do anything else. Actually you can, you can see what I have purchased and spent at your store and be a little bit more understanding. And make sure your associates are giving the correct information to customers. read more

I love coming to this store. The customer service is always above and beyond. The grooming salon here is outstanding. My dog is nervous around strangers and is terrified of the blow dryer. The people who work here are so great with him, and he is excited to see his friends every time we walk through the door. It's definitely not cheap, but there is no way I can handle grooming 85 lbs of fluff and fur. I am always amazed at how great my pup looks when they finish with him. It's worth every penny. The manager, Stephanie is a gem. She remembers my dog and always takes the time (much longer than a standard bath) to make sure he has a positive experience. read more

So I really paid for both bags. The Petco price was 8.97, PetSmart price was 17.99. Be aware of what you are buying at PetSmart. I will never enter a PetSmart store again. read more

Great Place to go for pet products, staff helpful

Out of all the PetSmarts and other pet stores I've visited, this specific store is the way to go. The management team must be doing something right. It's one thing to be greeted when you enter the store but it's a different ball game when the employees really seem to care about what you're trying to find. Not only do they pay attention to my little pup who is a schnauzer, but they treat my pit bull like any other puppy, not avoiding him or keeping an eye on him. The staff know both pups by name. The manager comes out of the office to make sure we are doing well almost every time we are in the store. Their brand Authority is easily marked, has a huge variety, and is affordable as well. 5 stars to the grooming staff as well. I was placed with Ana who did a great job with Pluto, my smaller furry friend. The phone call to schedule the appointment was simple. They got me in same day, got Pluto bathed and groomed in a timely manner. When I picked him up, he was the best looking dog! His haircut was perfect, bath did him well, and teeth all brushed and clean! The consultant who brought him up to me explained the treatment and conversed about how good Pluto was during his appointment. She seemed genuinely interested in him and ready to see him again when he came back! I routinely visit this PetSmart for all of my dogs' needs and will continue to do so! I always try to support local businesses that are privately owned but this particular store keeps me coming back because of the high standards for customer service, affordable prices, and great atmosphere for dog and owner!
