It's pet smart. Just like every other pet smart. Got a great selection of toys treats and material. Friendly services and they seem knowledgeable of the products when you ask them a question on something. Only problem is the prices. All the prices of food is high as giraffe ass. I got a 35 lbs back of dog food costs me 58.00. That was the supposedly sale price. My dogs literally go through the bag almost in a week so do the math. This place could literally make a metric ton more money if they made prices reasonable read more

This is an awesome petsmart. Tons of food and treat options. Always clean inside. Tons of HAPPY pet loving employees. The only thing about this petsmart that I don't like (and took a star away for) there's no grass outside for our pets to potty before entering. There is a small patch on the side but it's always littered with trash. Other than that, I really like this location. read more

I brought my pups here to get groomed and they did an amazing job. My sheba inu was shedding really bad so they did a deshedding bath and we have less hair around the house. After their bath's the staff sent me a picture of my puppies. They were so happy. read more

I brought Emmie here just to get her face and feet trimmed up with SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS letting the groomer know that I would be waiting for her right outside so DO NOT put her in a kennel. I watched the whole time and as soon as she was done I went to go through the door to take Emmie and the groomer was already headed back to the back to put her in a kennel. I HAD TO YELL along with other groomers to get her attention. NEVER AGAIN. I had to select a star rating. I couldn't submit this without giving them at least one star. THUMBS DOWN read more

I love this particular location, because the staff, especially Mr. Kenny, really try their best to help you out. I suggest price matching, because it really helps you save a lot of money! Their salon services are great as well and my puppy never had a problem. I recommend Layla, because she really trimmed my pup's nails downs and grinded them very well. It is very clean and well maintained. The staff is always available to help you! read more

This PetSmart is located off the most obnoxious part of Military Highway. Nobody seems to remember how to drive around here so be careful when coming into the parking lot, there are no stop signs for opposing traffic and an 18-wheeler almost plowed me over the other day. I know that's not PetSmart's problem, but if I died - I wouldn't be shopping there anymore now would I? So the store is always stocked and the staff is always helpful and willing to show you were things are. They never seem agitated that you have a question about anything. They also offer dog training classes at this location and the prices seem pretty reasonable compared to other similar companies. read more

I rarely come in here, but my husband frequently stops with our doggie daughter. They have a decent variety of items that pet owners need like food, toys, hygiene products, etc. They sell many smaller pets here (birds, reptiles, fish, mice) but they also have an adoption center for cats as well. The fish department is not the best and I would not recommend purchasing your finned friends here. On a whole, I'm not a fan of the big chain because they often sell items that are not highly recommended and have staff that are not nearly as knowledgeable as they should be, but for grabbing food or minor necessities, it's ok. read more

Kenneth the cashier is so helpful and friendly. He is very knowledgeable about pets and assures that owners are picking the best products for their pets at a good price! Great customer service. read more

Extremely unprofessional... I couldn't make the grooming appointment. The lady on the phone, was so rude. Horrible! read more

Do not get your dog groomed here. The grooming associates at this location are lazy. I took my dog in to get groomed and I had brushed her the night before because she has curly hair and the grooming associate Cristina called me within 10 minutes of me dropping her off to say that my dogs hair is "too thick" and that I either need to pick her up and brush her myself or shave her naked because she (Cristina) "doesn't have the time" because "she's so big". When you have a curly haired dog there's only so much you can do. My dog had zero matting and this isn't even in line with petsmart's policy (I called another location and relayed exactly what Cristina said to me and they were shocked). When I booked I booked online where I said what kind of dog I had and what her weigh was. Literally go to any other petsmart location for grooming or if you do decided to go here, use anyone but Cristina. read more

Dropped off dog with bruised paws and picked him up with bleeding paws. No ointments no bandages no NOTHING. Paid $345.00 pretty much for pain meds. What the fuck. read more

Store #1541 is my local petsmart and I've probably spent hundreds of dollars here since acquiring my new Boxer. I've always felt welcomed in this store, mostly because Mr.Kenny greets and helps each each time I'm there, when he's there. However I cannot allow Mr. Kenny's great customer service to cloud the dissatisfaction I feel from the store overall. There has been 2 occasions thus far that have made me want to stop patronizing the store. This last visit really put me over the top. I received a flyer for a Valentines photo op with my puppy on 2/11 from 12-3. I called the store a week in advance to inquire about the prices and was given the info I was looking for. Yet when my dog and I appeared on 2/11/17 for our v-day photo op, no one knew anything about it. The manager indicated the store wasn't given any equipment to do any photo ops (backdrops, cameras, etc.). One of the nice associates offered to take our pic on an iPad and send it to my email within 24 hours. We used a rack of vday items as a backdrop. I figured seeing as though my dog and I got all dressed up and drove to the store for our pics, why not. So we took the iPad picture. Of course even though I was told I'd get the email within 24 hours, I have yet to receive anything. The cashier customer service at this store is great, but the service and support behind its products and events could use a lot of work. I hope this time someone responds to my feedback- as no one ever did the last time. - A very unsatisfied customer, read more

Easily the worst experience I've had with a groomer. Was not told about bringing paperwork with my dogs for their first haircut, and then the price over double what I was told over the phone. Then the haircuts weren't even good on top of it all. Would not recommend at al. read more

I've always had great service here. The store is really clean. The staff are friendly. I take my cat to Banfield and have never had a problem. They are usually pretty booked up, but they have made it work when I need them. I appreciate that they have later hours since I get off work in the evening. read more

I've taken my dog here, & I asked to cut her nails and they weren't skilled AT ALL. They didn't do her back paws and STILL charged me.

The store is big and clean. Employees were friendly and asked if I needed any help after I was circling looking for the right treats for my pets. They helped me out and while I was at the register the cashier asked if I needed any help carrying my items to my car as I had a big bag of kitty litter and a few cat and dog food. I declined but will be returning here. read more

I always have a good experience at this location. They always have the products I need and the staff is helpful. However, I would not recommend training. It did not benefit my dog, and we did not bother to complete the program. read more

This is a convenient location for me since I live nearby, and every time I go in there i've been asked at least once or twice if I need help with anything. However, the past few experiences have been awful. A few weeks ago I called regarding to see if they had any books in stock about a certain breed. That weekend I had checked both Petsmarts near Pembroke Town Center and on Laskin Rd, and none had a book. I checked both Barnes and Nobles as well in Greenbrier and Pembroke, and had lastly checked the family pet store in Pembroke Mall. That was only in the span of two days, then I left to go on a weekend trip. After I came back I called Petsmart and asked if they had the book in stock and one of the employees had the audacity to say in a very condescending tone, "Can I give you a word of advice? If you're looking for a book then go to the bookstore." Thanks for the word of advice, but it didn't have to come off as rude. Obviously I went to you for help because you have a selection of books in your own store. I work in Customer Service myself and deal with people all the time, but how I was spoken to as a customer was blatantly rude. They made me feel as if I was looking in the wrong place and that I wasn't well-educated or anything. Another time I went to return something one of the women seemed really annoyed. I don't know if it happens often, but the way she was acting made it seem like she was just unhappy with all of her customers in general. She made small insinuations through her tone that she wasn't happy we were returning the item, and to put it bluntly she looked pissed. It was uncomfortable to deal with, and when we left was standing in the doorway where the carts and stuff were and didn't even manage to say goodbye or anything. Not like it really matters, but it made it seem like she just wanted us out of there. I've come to that Petsmart many times in the past, and i've even had a friend who worked there who was a wonderful employee. But lately they haven't been as friendly and welcoming as they used to be, and i'd rather drive an extra ten or fifteen minutes to be serviced by someone else. read more

FLEES! Had my dog groomed here on Sept. 9 and he came home with flees. I gave him Frontline the week before but it didn't appear to help! Should have known when the groomer asked me if my dog had flee protection on him. read more

Not impressed. A whole lot of unnecessary attitudes from the groomers. Especially the one blonde chick that was grooming at the front left table when I tried to check my dogs in. read more

I adopted a cat in August and have had issues since. They claim to "check" the animal before putting them up for adoption but clearly they don't. My cat has had diarrhea before I adopted her (in the records) and still has it. Double ear infections. $500+ dollars later we are still trying to get her healthy. I even went by the cat adoption center a month ago and every cat had diarrhea. Petsmart does not make sure their animals are healthy before putting them up for adoption. Very frustrating. read more

I've been a customer of this location for many years and service is always like a roller coaster. But now I finally feel like they have a solid team in fish, grooming & customer service (cashier). I can only speak on these departments as they're the only ones I frequent. Today I was thoroughly impressed with the women working the fish department and I hate to say I don't remember her name however she was young and very knowledgable. Grooming has always been iffy here but today my pup was serviced by Anastasia and I will say she was excellent. The very first person in six years to be enthusiastic and passionate about the animal and human customer service. I told her the experiences I had before and the areas that were most important to me. Anastasia far exceeded my expectations in her customer service, working knowledge and work ethic. She even helped me find the right toothpaste for my pup. I will be requesting her services going forward. Oh and Mr. Kenneth is also always a pleasure to see he is another who far exceeds expectations. He's very friendly but not in an over whelming annoying up sale type of friendly. He is exactly what all employees should strive to be! Thank you pet smart please keep this team and hire more individuals like them! read more

I loved coming to this store bc the place was close and affordable. I had put my first mini schnauzer through one of their basic dog training classes and through the trainers I had I liked it. I did however had an issue with the grooming staff. I taken both my mini schnauzers every 8 weeks to get them groomed and up until last time I had enjoyed their service. I gotta say though for anyone who has ever been around or know about schnauzers they are pretty chatty dogs and the two girls there felt the need to tell me how my dogs upset everyone and how it was so horrible for them. I'm sorry how long have you been doing this and ya can't handle two 15 lb chatty puppies? When they finally brought them out to me my dogs looked like a hot mess like they've never done a schnauzer wtf!! They just looked at me and said sorry we did the best we could....so needless to say I'm not taking my dogs back there. read more

First impression of this store was not pretty. Lots of empty shelves, several employees standing around, and unhealthy looking fish. No saltwater fish, didn't have the natural dog food I was looking for. No Merrick, Halo, or anything worth feeding my dogs. Had to go elsewhere to find what I wanted. read more
