    First, let me say the staff here is very knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. The problem is not with the staff or the products that they carry. The problem is with the store. They mark things on sale, but they don't change it in their computer. So you think you're getting eight dollars off a toy or item and you're getting nothing off. So if you're buying one item, you'll probably notice. But if you're buying dog food, cat food and many other items, along with your sale items, you may not notice till you get home. This has happened on more than one occasion so I've decided to now do a review on it. I feel like the store is doing it purposefully to make money behind the scenes. Those customers that aren't paying attention and checking are unknowingly paying a lot more than the sale sign indicates. I went back to the store the same day within an hour to show them. Their sale signs showed them much lower than my receipt and I got a $38.00 and change credit that I missed out on the first time. These items that were on sale but the computer didn't give me the discount. This is beyond frustrating. I feel like Pet Smart is trying to pull the wool over their customers eyes telling us we're getting a discount and then not giving it to us. Like I say, this has happened on more than one occasion. Thankfully, the store clerk was super friendly and nice. I was patient and she took pictures of all the sale items so she could verify it on the receipt. It took a little bit of time but it was worth it. Check your receipts people.

    do your homework by checking prices at the OTHER pet stores, I found this store is charging $3 more for the exact same dog food.

    Liar & poor communication!! The first time I brought my Bernedoodle puppy to Tracy went well. I…read moremade an appointment for 4-29 to bring my 8 mo old puppy in for another grooming session. I dropped him off at 2PM, when it was after 7 PM and no updates on my dog...I began to worry. I called the store & it went to voice mail. I then sent her a text message. Her response was "he's ready..just been a crazy day". I pick up my dog who was shaved! I asked for a puppy cut and since she kept my dog for 5 + hours, she should have called and asked if she could shave him. I was in such shock when I picked him up....I did not say anything, paid and left. She also charged me extra because according to her he was "matted and disgusting" Who honestly says that?? I was so disappointed at the lack of communication, her behavior and how she handled the situation that I messaged her the next day explaining how I was disappointed and wished she would have communicated with me. Tracy responded "hi there my apologies...however he was really matted. I haven't cashed your check I will mail it back to you....send me your address please. I said "thank you & sent my address.....only to look at my bank statement to show she cashed the check on 4-30. SHE LIED TO ME!! Everyone is entitled to a bad day, saying the wrong thing BUT you make up for it! As I thought Tracy was going to do. I wouldn't recommend Smoochie Poochies in Walton Hills. She is no longer in Macedonia.

Even when they've canceled on me at the last minute and put me in difficult situations, I continued to support them and even referred others. at the This is no reflection on the groomer. I am hoping they didn't tell her. About a month ago, my younger brother passed away unexpectedly. That same week, I missed a grooming appointment -- the first one I've ever missed -- and realized it about an hour later. I immediately called to reschedule. Instead of any understanding, I was told I would be charged a $35 rescheduling fee. I explained the situation, apologized, and even offered to tip the groomer extra. The woman on the phone was rude, completely unsympathetic, and told me they could not book another appointment unless I paid the fee, even offering to charge the card on file. I declined and then emailed the owners. It's now been about a month, and I have received no response. I understand policies exist, and I even understand that the employee was likely just following them. But as a business owner myself, I also understand that there are moments where compassion and common sense should outweigh rigid rules -- especially for a loyal customer of over a decade. I don't typically leave negative reviews until I've exhausted every avenue with management, but the lack of response speaks volumes. For the sake of a $35 fee, you've lost a loyal customer of 10+ years. That's incredibly disappointing. Do better, Central Bark.

    I am SO disappointed with Amy, the owner. We have been going to her for over 10 years. My 5lbs…read more(toothless) dog has severe anxiety and reactive behavior, she is the only person who can touch him after a decade. I called her for our regular appointment and she let me know that she "can no longer groom him" and truly left me in the dust. I asked her why she didn't let me know about 4 weeks ago when I picked him up from his grooming and she replied, "oh sorry but ya no." This is just bad business and poor ethical ownership. I'm sad how little her loyal customers mean to her.

I can't ever imagine taking him anywhere else, because the quality and service Amy provides is truly exceptional. Now, to be honest, Bud can be a bit difficult to groom as I suspect he had trauma in his life. He's not aggressive, but wiggly and difficult. Amy is so patient with my little old man and will work tirelessly to do the best job she can. Once when we arrived to pick him up, she was calmly sitting with him in a chair, trying to do gentle little snip snips as he would grumpily allow. His appointment was technically over, but she was still committed to giving him the best haircut possible. That patience and love meant a lot to me. That image sticks with me! The Grooming Station is a one-dog-at-a-time local business, so do you don't have to worry about other dogs barking, especially if yours is anxious. You can feel good about leaving your pooch in the capable hands of this loving, clean, and talented groomer!

    After my groomer, who was coming to my home, decided to take a hiatus ( without any warning or…read morenotice) We were left somewhat panicked. That groomer also worked at a dog Salon, which was an option, but the recent YELP reviews were awful. Our dog is a puppy mill rescue, who had been abused and can be fear aggressive when confined with anything around her neck. She's never bitten anyone but gets snappy if you pull on her. So we need a groomer who gets that..... 95% of the time this dog is a lap dog, desperate for affection. She's also actually afraid of people and other dogs, terrified of cages,( she was in a cage for the first two years of her life)which is why going to a regular dog Salon was the least favorite option. So enter Furryland! We have had two groomers. Both were excellent. Both listened beforehand to her history and her trigger points. Amanda now has been her groomer the last few times and the actual grooming is terrific. She really did what I asked regarding her ears, which is difficult on a Doodle. Our original groomer just always kind of did it her way. Lol. But most importantly, our dog wasn't stressed. And before anyone asks, we have always used vet prescribed sedation to reduce anxiety. But it didn't yield the same results with our prior home groomer. So overall, the grooming results were terrific, the commutation via text while your pup is in the van is excellent, the personality and listening skills of both Amanda and staff have been so pleasant to deal with.
