The ladies that work here are great too. They're accommodating and very friendly. My dog doesn't need grooming but if she did I'd totally trust these guys! It ended up being almost $500 and I got the same treatment with the manager. I explained beforehand that they had several mats due to my Won dog being disabled, and it is extremely hard to move him around and he needs to rest a lot. My other Newfoundland again was groomed beautifully. She did not need as much attention, but I was charged the same amount 250 for each dog. Yeah, that's outrageous. Finally, they have so many dogs that they're grooming. It takes them longer because they do not have enough staff. I was disappointed with the outrageous charge of the cost.

I went back to get some of the money back for services not complete. She said nobody showed her a picture and she would fix it. I didn't realize we need to specify I wanted him to have an even haircut. She got snippy when I explained that he had dirt on his face and she stated well she doesn't know what to tell me, but he was definitely bathed. She didn't seem to care at all and I didn't feel comfortable leaving him with her in the back room after the hack job he had. Save yourself and find a more qualified groomer. Not only does Doggie Style charge a few bucks less than where we were previously bringing our pup, but they also did a better job! Plus you can't beat the convenience of having your groomer come to you. Brittany got to our house right at 2, the van was parked on our street with our dog in it for about an hour, and he came out so clean and fluffy. She took the time to brush him out and clip him rather than shave him down. We will absolutely continue to use their services. The only thing that would improve things would be Saturday appointments (the hours are Monday-Friday), or late evening appointments during the week. It's not a huge inconvenience to take an afternoon off or to work from home every 9 weeks for us, but I can see how it would make it easier for a lot of people.

I took my maltese here for boarding and grooming for almost 16 years (my dog just passed). In this time the cost for a grooming only went up three dollars and some change! I was always happy with his cut and reasonable time it took for him to be groomed. Amy used to groom him, she was the best. My dog always came out with a big smile on his face. The staff are ALL beyond kind and considerate towards my dog and I. I boarded him at least once or twice a year (for 10 days) in the suites with the webcams. You must book early for these on holidays. I loved checking in on him and watching him play in the doggie day care (while I missed him on vacation). The staff are attentive to any medications and/or dietary needs, and will call you if there are any major problems while boarded. This business is so great that there is a strong following of people who keep it really busy, so plan ahead for a grooming and boarding. It will be worth it. I totally recommend Pet Spas and Suites. They are so personable and caring. This isn't run like a corporate pet store where you never see the same people again the next time you come in, the crates are half the size at the corporate chain pet store. I went once and they were rude. I had a friend whom the corp. chain didn't take notes on her dog who had a hip problem (nor did they listen to the owners) and the dog ended up getting hurt- requiring surgery- costing thousands of dollars and pain and suffering to her dog. That would never happen at Pet Spa. It will be sometime before I get another pup but I know where I'll be taking him/her when I do. I will miss the Pet Spa & Suites family until then. The friendly staff then kept recommending multiple different ones over and over which we didn't want. We settled on one and I took it to the engraving station, but was told I had to pay for it first (fair). Then, you take it and scan the receipt into the computer and finally you can design your tag. It all is reasonable, but I wish it had been a bit more intuitive. That being said, the store has lots of fun things for pets including a dog biscuit buffet. Are they the best quality treats? Probably not, though from past experience I know that the cookies are actually diabetic cookies which can also be eaten by humans (don't ask!). The staff were friendly, perhaps too friendly, but I would rather have that than be ignored. We also liked looking at the birds and hamsters and other animals for sale.
