Tail is choppy and uneven - enough to where it looks like they created his own tail butthole

I don't even think this Petsmart grooming service deserves one star. I took my sheepadoodle in for a groom and told them I was fine with a shave down if necessary (he was boarded for a week and had developed mats). I returned to pick him up looking like this. Intially, I wasn't going to say anything, and even tipped Jocelyn and Jules (training) even though I was not happy. But, this cut is just downright terrible and uneven. It looks like a job I could've done myself with absolutely no grooming training. Will not be returning to this location.

My dog, Hudson, when to the Petsmart grooming salon. I get a phone call two hours after dropping him off stating that the groomer and a manager are bring him to an emergency animal hospital because his eyes are filling with blood and have become very swollen after his bath. The ED doctor diagnosed him with scleral and conjunctival hemorrhage caused by trauma. Basically, the leash they used suffocated him. We also noticed a large bruise form over his eye. I can only hypothesis that someone abused my dog or that the "professionals" didn't notice that my dog was being strangled and violently hit his head. This isn't the first time this has happened at a Petsmart grooming salon. They clearly haven't changed their procedures to prevent this from happening or someone intentionally hurt my dog. Also why did this take two hours? He only received a bath and didn't get his haircut. How long was he sitting in a cage with his eyes bleeding before anyone noticed?

The staff is very nice and they seem very knowledgeable. The staff makes sure all dog have the proper shots before coming in for an appointment. I did not use their product's because one of my babies had an allergy problem, and I did not want to try something new. They allowed me to bring in my own products. We will try their products next appointment. Excellent price for grooming!

He is older with some lumps and bumps, and I am not a perfectectionist. This was completely uneven. One side of his face was significantly longer than the other. His paws, under arms, sides, and belly had random long pieces. It was evident he did not have a bath or his ears cleaned, which is listed as included under grooming description. I went back to get some of the money back for services not complete. She said nobody showed her a picture and she would fix it. I didn't realize we need to specify I wanted him to have an even haircut. She got snippy when I explained that he had dirt on his face and she stated well she doesn't know what to tell me, but he was definitely bathed. She didn't seem to care at all and I didn't feel comfortable leaving him with her in the back room after the hack job he had. Save yourself and find a more qualified groomer. Pictures don't even do justice.

My puppy was "banned" from here because apparently he pees and poops too much...mind you, it called House of Dogs, so you would think they'd understand that dogs urinate and have bowel movements frequently, especially as a 6 month old puppy. Interesting enough, we now go elsewhere for his grooming and boarding and have had a very pleasant experience with 0 complaints so clearly the dog is not urinating an abnormally large amount, rather they just are not capable of handling it. So for that and the fact that they no longer want to care for our puppy the 1 Star will have to do.

At a glance the waiting room is a dump so I can only imagine what the back room looks like. After three and a half hours we picked her up only to find in my opinion the worst hair cut she has ever had yet. Even in comparison to the ones I gave her myself. She had matte's in her ears and razor burn everywhere tuff of hair here and there bald spots and smelled like flower scented carpet cleaner. I could go on and on she said she gave her a hard time and may have sores on her neck do to pulling. If after 25 years of cutting dogs hair and you have never dealt with a hard to handle dog well then I guess your to sheltered or maybe it's just time to just retire. After we got her home she was so unsettled could not stop moving. After convincing her to let me brush her ear out and a few treats and lots of hugs and a long walk did she finally relax. So if you don't mind your dog being abused a little and ruffed up only to receive a trashy haircut , and pay way too much for this haircut be my Guest. But as for me and my dog that is the first and last time for us.

Also forgetting to use the dental brush to brush his teeth, even though I paid for it? I was polite and did not say anything. I overlooked it because she seemed nice. I started noticing I could not get an appointment. My calls would get rejected text messages would say: read: but never no response. I called her off of my husband's phone she answered right away and I said maybe it's my phone. Are you not getting my text messages? to which she lied and said oh no I didn't. I found that weird, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt and said that's OK. I would like to have my dog groomed. I have a golden doodle puppy. He is not feisty nor aggressive. Never had any complaint from her for a few times I brought him in, but for some reason, she is not letting me know why she is ignoring my calls and not responding to my text messages. I referred my friend to her and she accepted her appointment right away within minutes. something is very wrong and weird here, she also told me she had to do multiple surgeries and she will be out of work for months. to which I said I hope you are well and you recover just let me know when you are up and running. so I figured she was going through her own situation, but now I'm thinking was she making up lies? just to not take the appointment ? that is very unprofessional and disrespectful. If you dont want to groom my dog anymore for some odd reason that would've been OK. just let me know what was wrong or give me a reason as to why do you not want to take my dog for grooming? I paid exactly what Tina would request plus tip. everytime is that how you treat your so-called clients? she works out of her basement in her home. Again, I don't know what went wrong but that's not how you treat people. I have attached two pictures with text messages which clearly shows she reads my messages as soon as I send it, but it's just not interested to respond. We never did anything wrong to Tina or her business so I'm not sure what happened here but I am very disappointed.

I took my maltese here for boarding and grooming for almost 16 years (my dog just passed). In this time the cost for a grooming only went up three dollars and some change! I was always happy with his cut and reasonable time it took for him to be groomed. Amy used to groom him, she was the best. My dog always came out with a big smile on his face. The staff are ALL beyond kind and considerate towards my dog and I. I boarded him at least once or twice a year (for 10 days) in the suites with the webcams. You must book early for these on holidays. I loved checking in on him and watching him play in the doggie day care (while I missed him on vacation). The staff are attentive to any medications and/or dietary needs, and will call you if there are any major problems while boarded. This business is so great that there is a strong following of people who keep it really busy, so plan ahead for a grooming and boarding. It will be worth it. I totally recommend Pet Spas and Suites. They are so personable and caring. This isn't run like a corporate pet store where you never see the same people again the next time you come in, the crates are half the size at the corporate chain pet store. I went once and they were rude. I had a friend whom the corp. chain didn't take notes on her dog who had a hip problem (nor did they listen to the owners) and the dog ended up getting hurt- requiring surgery- costing thousands of dollars and pain and suffering to her dog. That would never happen at Pet Spa. It will be sometime before I get another pup but I know where I'll be taking him/her when I do. I will miss the Pet Spa & Suites family until then.
