About a year ago, I took my dog Pepper to All Dawgs for a few days, and I've held off on writing this review because I didn't want to hurt someone's business. But after seeing the lasting impact it had on my dog, I feel it's important to share our experience. We bought a brand new collar for Pepper specifically for this daycare. When we picked her up one day, she had a completely different collar on. The staff told us she "chewed through it" -- something I found highly unlikely, especially since the damage looked like it had been torn or yanked, not chewed. I emailed the owner, who repeated the same line: that it was chewed through. Is this were the case, why was she left alone long enough to do that? When I asked about supervision, I was shocked to learn that the dogs are only out of their crates for 60-90 minutes per day, broken up into small 15-20 minute chunks, and crated the rest of the time. So not only did my dog somehow lose her collar in a way that was never fully explained (in my opinion the collar was yanked off of her, maybe by another dog, or one of the trainers) but she was also spending the vast majority of her day in a crate -- something we were never told up front. This place is not what they advertise. It's poorly run, and in my opinion, more focused on making money than on your dog's wellbeing. There are so many better options out there. Pepper now goes to a different place where she's treated like family and goes on hikes during the day -- and she absolutely loves it. I truly regret ever bringing her to All Dawgs. Please don't make the same mistake. (P.S. I've posted screenshots of the collar and my conversation with the owner where she admits dogs only get an hour or so of playtime a day. Do the math -- this is not a place where dogs get real interaction or care.) read more

The business states when you pay the invoice that there are no refunds however the business failed to keep my dog safe. They failed to notify me when they had cases of kennel cough the day prior to my dog attending daycare. I requested they refund the five remaining days that were pre-paid for daycare and the dog was unable to attend after contracting kennel cough in their facility. Their website claims concern for the health and safety of the dogs however their refund policy discourages clients from keeping their sick dog home. I also incurred a vet bill and my other two dogs also contracted kennel cough. When I contacted her about my dog's illness she stated that she informed me that kennel cough was at the facility on the 22nd but no communication was received. He was at the facility on the 23rd and the 26th and came down with kennel cough on the 27th, And he was nowhere outside the home or exposed to any other dogs, It is clear he caught the kennel cough at the facility, despite her claim that he could've gotten it anywhere. Her response to me regarding he could've gotten it anywhere and a story about a coworker's dog contracting it from her clothes. She lacks empathy and displays a lack of accountability and responsibility. I can only assume that she does not properly clean her facility daily. It is a poor business practice to withhold refund when the cause of the dog not being able to attend is caused by her facility. She Offered only 2 days to be credited to the next invoice. At the very least she could have offered all of the days on the next invoice, that would have been a reasonable answer. She stated that he could come back after 48 hours with no cough suppressant, however, I have three dogs in my home and per her Explanation about secondary infection, I do not believe it to be advisable to return him to dayCare while my other dogs are coughing. I believe she is negligent for my dog contracting kennel cough. It's not like there is such a demand for her daycare slots like she claims. Ask around- there is plenty of info about her no refund policy, lack of cleanliness at her facility, constant upselling, poor treatment of her staff. These were all red flags I initially missed. The crux of the problem I believe is that people don't keep their sick dogs home due to her strict no refunds policy. There is so much more to say- but we are just in a much better place now. read more

We came to All Dawgs when our dogs who had been living together happily for over a year began demonstrating aggressive behavior towards one another. We were required to pay over $400 up front to even schedule the first appointment. However, after making that payment, we were informed we would need to pay for additional training sessions before they were able to move forward with household integration training. Over five months, we jumped through multiple expensive hoops and scheduling nightmares, leaving us alone with an escalating issue with our dogs that we were ill-equipped to handle on our own. After completing all other required sessions, I called the office in tears, now in a situation that was dangerous for us as well as our dogs, and attempted to schedule the household integration training as soon as possible. Fully knowing the situation we were in, All Dawgs insisted that we wait an additional six weeks, instead of taking any of the appointments available several weeks sooner, solely due to their preference we stick with the same trainer. It's been five months, we've spent nearly $1000 dollars, and have been left in a serious lurch and we cannot even get a refund for the training we never received. read more

My satisfaction with the training my dog and I have received is far superior to the space they rent. Railroad Ave has always been an odd choice in my mind, but I think All Dawgs makes the best use possible for the space they rent. Besides, it's the hoomans that work there that have been the key to our success. I look forward to their future plans for a better location that has a pool! I support their fund raising efforts when I can. I can't speak to their boarding or day care services, as I've never had the need. Group lessons and private lessons have met or surpassed my expectations. I've been working with All Dawgs to train my service dog for the past 2 years and have found their staff very knowledgeable. The help I've gotten from classes in general and all the Q&A has been beneficial for me and my service dog. read more

I took my 18 week old puppy to her first daycare day and I will never be back. I went here off of good faith and it was close to my work, hoping my puppy could have some more positive dog socialization since she is my only dog. Instead, she was put into a situation that made her nervous; she was put right into a group of dogs and was not assisted with integration or socialization. I was told I could call mid day to check on her, I called 3x until I was able to reach someone. I believe she spent more time in a tiny crate in a lineup of crates with barking dogs then she did out, she was returned to me with urine on her paws, she smelled and was itchy the rest of the evening. Luckily I was able to find a different more privately run and caring daycare that will give my puppy the tools to be successful. Unfortunately, I will never recommend AllDawgs to anyone ever again. Please save your puppy the trauma and find somewhere else to go. I wish I would have turned right around when I arrived in the morning and the personal dogs of the owner were in tiny crates in the office and aggressively barked at me. She was very rude to us while we asked questions and included all these additional charges after we already paid for the classes which are non-refundable. As soon as we walked through the door they tried to scoop up our dog, bring him to the back, have us fill out paperwork and leave him without seeing the facility. It was very strange. I'm leaving my fur baby with you! I was under the impression that this was a crate-free dog daycare. The dogs are keep in crates until 9 AM so the dogs "leave tired but not too tired." Basically you can expect your dog to be in crate for up to 5 hours per day. They're smushed up next to each other with no separation or supervision. They're kept behind a blue tarp but none of the crates had coverage to give the dogs real respite or sense of safety or comfort. There's basically no natural sunlight and it smells horrible! There was one friendly dog trainer, but this was only her second day. The rest acted like wardens. It felt like a doggie jail and less of a daycare. The owner seemed very offended when we asked questions and was weary to show us where the dogs play as if it were an unusual request. She boasted that she has 24 years of experience and that the care she provides is science based best practice. I'm doubtful that this was the best way to employ her research. We lost our $45 deposit because we obviously would never leave our dog with her or in this type of environment. read more

My small dog and I started training with Diane and LuAnn in May 2024. The experience has been so rewarding. My dog is a little over a year old and she is a flight risk. She has gotten away from us on more than one occasion and we have been very lucky to get her back and lucky that she wasn't hit by a car. After basic obedience this issue still persisted. I talked to Diane about it and she suggested e-collar training. We had one lesson with Diane which lasted about an hour. This was the most life changing lesson ever. I don't have to worry about my dog rushing out the door, running away or chasing squirrels, rabbits or deer. I know with 100% certainty that she will come back when I call her. She is happier now and I am too......all from one lesson with Diane. I will be forever grateful to her an All Dawgs for the confidence that I have and the proper tools that they gave me to help me and my dog. read more

I had been an on again off again client of All Dawgs since moving to the area in 2017. I took my dog Beau to Diane for Master Dawgs classes, CGC and Rally Obedience classes. Since that time Beau has earned several AKC and UKC titles in Rally as well as Competition Obedience. Would have done our agility training there but they just do t have the space for it at this time. Recently I adopted a puppy at 14 mos. who has been a handful. No crate training nor fully housebroken. After of about two weeks of trying to teach him on my own I called Diane and got him evaluated for day care to at least get him socialized with other dogs. Since October, Diane and her wonderful staff have been patient and understanding in providing training to my wild child of a puppy. Daycare days are a vacation for my other dog. It helps my older dog not to be stressed as well. Tiarnan has made vast improvements, still has a ways to go. I have to say without the patient and knowledgeable staff at All Dawgs I would have probably returned this pup to the rescue as he was trying my patience. They were the first ones I called when I got the new addition, that alone says that I trust them, worth the money (fees are on par with other places) and recommend them to others. read more

My partner signed her dog up for dog training camp. 3,000+ dollars and not even being able to attend the dog camp because her dog was unexpectedly hit by a car and now she doesn't even know how she's gonna pay for his medical bills now that All Dawgs is refusing a refund. Imagine being that insensitive that you said you'll issue as a "gift card" for when he's ready to go back to camp. HE MIGHT NOT EVEN MAKE IT. And imagine being paid to write good reviews because you don't even have legit "dog training " staff. And having your employees even disclose that it's a fraud. Yikes. What a shady business. Please do not bring your dog here for there therapy dog test, they lie. They make you think you leave with therapy dog certification and you don't. You still have to do 10 hours of supervised visits before you can send it to another party ( love on a leash) for the certification. I did my homework. I called All dawgs before the test and looked through there website and NOTHING was mentioned about this. The owner only called me back because Love on a leash called them. The owner was very unhelpful and wouldn't even refund my money for there false advertisement. Please beware that this is how they treat people and misrepresent themselves. Very disappointed with my experience. I jumped through all the hoops they required, taking extra classes before the main one I needed- which I paid in advance for. They say they have a strict cancelation policy but they canceled several weeks of classes and were not helpful when i asked for support when things between my dogs escalated to an unmanageable level. I had to seek help elsewhere. I never finished the extra training classes because of their cancellations. And they will not give me my money back for the training Class i never started. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about All Dawgs! Diane and her team are "Dog Whisperers ". I started with at home lessons for my 2,year old German Shepherd. Riesling is a very shy, insecure dog who actually was invited to leave several other dog training facilities. I was at my wits end until I found All Dawgs. We have since graduated from at home training and have been able to start Day care something I never thought I would see. The day care counselors and specifically the counselor that works with Riesling have been so patient and loving building trust and confidence with her. We just successfully went to a local groomer where Riesling was able to be dropped off and receive the full Spa package!! Amazing. And the final most amazing mile stone we can now walk past a dog while on leash with very little reactivity. This is an area they have been working on while at daycare in PAWS. Both classes taught us and our dog some very important fundamentals that we still use today. Recently, we had to seek help from them to try to fix our dogs destructive behavior when we left the house. We signed up for their Dawg Manners class and bought five private lessons at our home. The skills and exercises that we learned from both of these training sessions have helped us correct the issue and helped us feel much more comfortable leaving him home alone. This is our third class at this facility. There are a few reasons for you and your canine to train here, one of which is the location...which is also a con. It is in a warehouse on Railroad Ave; the road at night is extremely dark. The staff here are much more personable than at another facility we've taken training at. They also have a little "store" where you can buy training treats if for some reason you've forgotten to get some before class. Great concept, but unfortunately there is a high employee turnover due to unreasonable management (we customers could literally hear the boss speak to them in the next room- yikes). As such, the amount of qualified workers steadily declined and I finally pulled my pup out of daycare when other dogs started fighting. The business end also left me quite sour. The boss was very opportunistic, never seemed to genuinely care about the dogs or clients, but constantly scheming to nickel-and-dime. Yet she paid people for positive social media reviews. Not a lot of integrity there. The hours and availability of programming is rigid as well with high financial penalties if you're even a minute late. It gives me no pleasure to write this. Like everyone else, I decided to get a puppy during shutdown. I started my pup at the daycare last August, 2020. The owner, Diane, was more than willing to give me tips. When I started Gigi at All Dawgs I was really struggling with her nipping. I had tried everything, and was at my wits end. After trying the tips Diane gave me, there was an immediate improvement and the nipping was totally gone within a week. I have taken several of the dog training classes and a couple of private lessons with the All Dawg trainers. All have been excellent. The trainers and staff are all extremely knowledgeable about dogs & their behavior. I have found them all friendly and more than willing to discuss issues/questions I have had about my dog. I did 5 weeks of personal training with Diane for two of my two youngest dogs. It was the best decision I made. Diane is a genius! I've seen a big difference even in my shy dog who is afraid of her shadow! Diane was able to give me lots of suggestions and tools to continue to work with them on my own. I'm extremely impressed of how much she's learned, I have learned, and we are so happy going to alldawgs. I cannot even begin to describe how incredibly helpful this company and their staff have been. I have truly felt like family since day one of bringing Winston there! They helped me through training him as he was my first puppy on my own and taught me to help him channel his energy and be the happy, loving puppy he is. Daycare has also been a wonderful experience, the staff clearly takes the time to get to know the personalities of the dogs and the dogs always love it (plus the photos posted are priceless )! Finally their pet sitting process is wonderful, the app brings so much peace of mind with details about what happened, notes on how the dogs are doing and photos. The staff has truly gone above and beyond for my fiancé and I's little dog family in so many ways and I am heartbroken that we have to leave them as we move to Ohio! read more

would never ever take a dog there again. I signed up for a puppy class, and by week two they had 5 of the 7 puppies on prong collars. They are very outdated in their methods. There was a reactive border collie in our class, and the trainers method to fix that was to get in the dogs face and repeatedly yell "no". My dog was injured at All Dawgs day care and no one could give me an explanation as to what happened. I was told "it looks like he ran into a tooth." If the dogs were adequately supervised I should have been informed as to what exactly happened before my dog was brought to be at the end of the day with a bloody face. When I spoke to the owner she said my dog was a very active player. My dog now has a scar on his face that will remind me every day for the rest of his life that he was injured at All Dawgs. Updated: Over one month ago I left a generally positive review for this place. I am very saddened and disappointed regarding a recent turn of events. My GSD Taco started daycare here at just nine weeks. She showed no issues in daycare, which we consistently asked if there were. My dog had shown signs of protective aggression for my partner and I from an early age. All Dawgs was well aware of this but never really seemed to think it was urgent. They suddenly began to notice that she barked at other clients and trainers when me or my partner picked her up (because we were with her she showed her protective aggressions during these pick up and drop off times). We received an email from the owner saying they would be happy to work with Taco on aggression modification (lessons 90$ for half an hour, at roughly 2-3 times the cost of most other equally qualified places) and keep her at daycare. We responded that we were working with a highly qualified trainer at another facility and were seeing promising progress. Once they heard we had sought out a trainer at another facility, she was no longer interested in having our dog Taco at daycare. Why did we seek services elsewhere ? Because we had already gone through lessons at All Dawgs when Taco was younger. At the end of these lessons Taco was displaying worse behavior than before. We thought it was our dog, until we went to a new trainer who produced visible results. Overall, we are very disappointed with all Dawgs. They have some great trainers, but their standard operating procedures are not well thought out nor transparent. In addition, they are grossly over priced. I think this type of training may be good for someone who has a dog that needs to be trained not to pee inside or not to jump on people, but they've proven to be incompetent in issues beyond that. I do not recommend this place to anyone that has a dog with even the slightest sign of aggression. I hope other people have better experiences, but almost 6 months and just under $2000 later, we are disappointed and sure we will not be coming back. read more

Our dog Luna was a rescue from a Southern high kill shelter. She obviously had no positive memories of humans when we got her at 4 months old. We started out around the end of September with 5 private lessons. Our trainer was Melissa. Luna was scared of everything, loud noises and foreign objects in particular. Melissa provided the beginnings of a foundation to use with Luna when introducing her to new things in the world. By the third lesson, Luna was coming when called for the most part and targeting a small wood base for treats. Her confidence spread over to the increase in play at home (mostly outside). By the 5th lesson, Luna couldn't wait to get to the training and she even made it through some obstacles. CONFIDENCE. That was Melissa's gift to us. When Luna's confidence corresponded with our's at home, she took off. Highlights in the last 3 months since lessons: -Luna wagged her tail inside. -Luna is best friends with our new kitten. -Luna can play fetch and has many different toys. -Luna is fully potty trained and is not crated during the day. -Luna accepted a treat out of our dog sitter's hand. -Luna plays with me inside the house finally. -Luna knows the commands "crate", "outside", "inside", "bed", "food", and also her name. We are working on laydown, sit, and "come" still as these rely heavily on her focusing totally on us, but at least the really important ones she is getting. We would recommend Melissa to anyone. She always seemed to be having a great day and her enthusiasm poured out of her ears. Her dog Baloo helped out too. The facility is clean and accommodating. If I had to think of any criticism, it would relate to the Men's bathroom being in rough shape. (I work at a Plumbing and Heating Supply company, get ahold of me!) read more

Sadly, we did not have a good experience. Enrolled in a basic training class. Staff were nice enough, but the staging and execution of the program was not conducive to learning (for dogs or owners). The facility had two classes running concurrently, side-by-side, in rooms that were conjoined with a large open window. I imagine there was 20+ participating dogs and some 'training' team dogs. There was also at least one crated dog in our room under a blanket that barked for 1/2 the session. The noise level made it impossible to hear the instructor, who had a low voice. When we requested a refund, the staff did acknowledge the issues and said they would try to do better. But they would not extend a refund for the remaining classes. read more

I worked here as an Office Assistant. Shortly after I started, the owner, Diane Blackman made me uninstall an app that I had on my phone to add the Square to my phone. This was so I could accept payments from my own phone. She refused to pay for the use of my phone. Secondly, she refused to pay me for the sales that I made, resulting in substantial monies going into her business. When the sales were made, she instructed me on how to claim the sales via e-mail to her. When I asked her why my paycheck did not reflect the payment for my sales, then and only then did she stay that I don't get bonuses during training. Total lie! Why would she instruct me on how to claim the sales if I wasn't eligible for them? That's not even the worst of it! I was in a serious car accident. My car was totalled because the other driver did not yeild going through a traffic circle. My physician took me out of work for a minimum of two weeks, in which time, Diane Blackman terminated me! While I was out medically! Please do not entrust your precious dogs to her! She can't even treat humans with dignity or respect. She's a thief, she lies, and I wouldn't trust her with the care of a potted plant! read more

My dog Greenlea had a tough start with me. I was laid up and others were caring for her. So I needed to get control of her and be the one she relied on. Diane worked 1 - 1 with us and trained me to use the recall collar so she would stop running away. Then we took classes and finally realized my dream that she would be a therapy dog like her father. I also love the special activities that All Dawgs has for socializing and just having fun with the dogs. read more

Clients can never see their dogs playing or even go in the back to get their dog. My dog also contracted the flu there. Still had to pay for missed days due to illness he got there! Shady business. If they were on the up-n-up they wouldn't keep everything hidden behind closed doors. They're all about money and not the welfare of the dogs. read more

My dog goes to daycare here once a week and he absolutely loves it! He whines the entire car ride over and eagerly runs inside. At first I didn't know if I wanted to take my dog here with the negative reviews, no webcams, and seeing how the dogs are crated throughout the day but I'm so so glad we gave All Dawgs a chance. Honestly, I really like that they rotate between crating and playtime so the dogs don't get overtired or stressed and can have their own space. While he isn't insanely exhausted when he comes home, he's relaxed and happy, and I know he had a great day of socializing and playing. His old daycare was just a large open space and he'd be wiped out once he got home but it was more because of stress than being tired from playing. He actually disliked it so much by the end that I would have to drag him through the door when dropping him off. I also love that All Dawgs does activities with the dogs like fetch, treats, and adorable pictures. They know exactly who he is when I bring him in and who we are picking up at night. His behavior before and after daycare shows us how much he loves it. I'm really not sure why there are so many negative reviews but I will definitely be taking my dog to daycare here for a long time. read more

This place has really taken a turn for the worst in the last year or so. There is a very high staff turnover rate and this is a direct result of the treatment and business practices of the owner. The experienced staff is gone. The focus is now on greed and not on the dogs or clients. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! My 7 month old Golden Retriever started going one day a week. The staff is terrific! They answered ALL my questions, and I had a bunch! I found the Puppy Kindergarten class to be a waste of money and time. My dog didn't learn anything from the classes. A lot of time was wasted in the classes by talking about their products. When I had trouble getting my dog to obey the commands the teacher didn't seem to help me on one occasion and on another occasion the teacher couldn't get my dog to follow the command and gave up quickly stating the my dog wasn't hungry enough to be interested in her treat. read more
