She seemed very nice. She was very apologetic. She said she never noticed my phone messages or emails. The business was having technical difficulties and she assured me the problem was an aberration. My 7 year-old Maltese, Frederick spent this last year being walked twice a week by several of the staff at HOTH. I receieved gracious notes, he had the opportunity to meet other dogs in the neighborhood, and I was always treated in a caring, professional, and thoughtful manner. Fred also made two stays at the Bed and Biscuit, being cared for round the clock by HOTH staff. I have NEVER boarded my dog, so leaving him with someone outside of family and close friends was a choice I made very carefully. The cost for walks and overnight stays was reasonable and something I could afford living on the very small budget of a graduate student. I always felt wonderful knowing Fred was getting some love and attention during my long days at work. I can't recommend their services enough to coworkers and friends with animals. One of the only reasons I am sad to be leaving the Albany area for a new job in St. Kitts, is not getting to work with Hounds on the Hudson!

I paid for the month up front as per her request. I work 12 hour shifts and was paying Amee (and her helper Chelsea) to visit my 10 week old puppy twice a day, for an hour each time. I thought things were going great for the first few visits. That was, until I finally got around to installing my Ring video doorbell. I soon discovered that Amee was coming once per day for 15 minutes. She combined meals, lied about being at my house, and tried sending pictures to me at different times of the day to make it appear like she was going twice. I was starting to look for a replacement when one day, NOBODY CAME. My puppy was completely neglected. I fired Amee that day and asked for a refund on the services not rendered. I thought it was at least fair that I get my money back for future walks that she obviously won't be doing, but then I never heard from her again. I gave her some time to gather funds as she owes me $200, but several weeks have passed and she continues to ignore my messages. Do not be fooled by her phony personality - I never even received an honest apology from her. I'm posting this so that it doesn't happen to anyone else. Please don't give Amee your business.

Had my first experience with Pup-e-cise earlier this week when they watched my cats while I went camping for a few days. They did a spectacular job, including giving medication to my older cat. I knew during the meet-and-greet session with the owner that this business is first rate.
