Before with almost year long growth of top knot
    Jodi L.

Is there anything less than a star? That's what I give them. I made an appointment for my standard poodle on Wednesday, April 19. The evening before his appointment, I was contacted by PetSmart to inform me that my preferred groomer would not be in. I was told that I could be put on the schedule for the 21st and to have him there at 8am. When I arrived at 8, the groomer was not there. Another groomer checked us in and took notes, stating that our groomer was running late for the morning. 1st problem, I adjusted my schedule to make sure he was taken care of, and you can't come to work on time. Oh, okay! I was siting at lunch almost 4 hours later when I received a call from Amber Hall. She sounded panicked and defeated. She requested that I head to her because my dog was being a hard client. When I asked her what was going on, her exact words were, " he had an accident in his kennel, and he was sniffing everything and more worried about what was going on with the other dogs and not sitting still for her. he's a puppy! So I told her that that's normal and that this was our third time at the facility and no other groomer had these complaints. No notes in the system. So then she goes on to tell me that she did the best that she could with him, but if I see hairs out of place or have issues with his cut, she did her best and he's been on her table for two hours. Immediately I'm disturbed and leave lunch. I asked her if I was coming to a shitty cut? Her response: it's not up to my standards but the girls say that he looks okay. I responded that I really could care less what the girls had to say, but it better be up to my standards. I run to PetSmart as quickly as possible to find a dog standing perfectly on her table with a buzz cut. I have a standard poodle that had a full top knot that we had been growing for about a year. I requested that it be trimmed and it was shaved. The socks were sketchy and it was nothing like I requested. She should definitely be remorseful. Nope! She was mouthy and yelling at me and when I expressed my disappointment with the cut, she snatched him off the table without finishing and slid him across the floor to me. She threw the service leash at me. I told her that that was their leash and not his. While still being mouthy and talking all the noise she felt like talking, she went to the back room, got his leash and threw it at me. Her words were, "I'm not touching him anymore!" Well thank God, he's already bald. What's left? To my surprise, I asked to speak to a manager. The manager, Brett Stefenok, who was standing there the whole time, reluctantly raised his hand like a kindergartner in class that kind of knows the answer. I was amazed and pointed out his employees actions that took place in front of him and he never said a word. I knew at that point to request to speak to someone other than him. Que in Melody Miller, the GM in the store. No help, she's running a circus of idiots that are dealing with $3,000 dogs and they are not properly trained. I expressed that I would definitely be suing them based on the cut of my pure breed and the actions of the two employees that I was dealing with. She refused to have a discussion with me at all. Oh and at that time Brett got the courage to speak and pushed me with the door separating the general store and the grooming salon. Assault maybe! I guess Melody was the backbone that he needed. So we move to the part where he tells me that he doesn't have to talk to me anymore and walks off. So I ask for an incident report to be filled and they refuse to give me the incident number. I go to the parking lot and call corporate. I file a report and get the incident number. My husband shows up because I'm devastated at the cut and the treatment. He goes inside and speaks to Melody Miller. She shares that there was a breakdown in communication with the groomer that checked us in and the actual groomer attending to our puppy. NOT MY PROBLEM. SO HE WAS COLLATERAL DAMAGE. It is PetSmart policy that the groomer doing the cut, do the puppy intake. However, Amber came to work at her leisure and not at the schedule time so another groomer did the intake and didn't share our requests or appropriate notes. Another employee in the store stated that Amber had a lot going on that morning and it was just a series of unfortunate events. So now we have a bad haircut and a groomer yelling at me and a manger that the DM, Melody Miller later refers to as a baby manager. So after filing the report and waiting to hear back from corporate, Melody calls on a Saturday . She states that she has been cleared to talk to us . She apologizes and offers us hush money in the form of a gift card to visit their location or another to be groomed . No way in hell will you all ever touch my dog again. When I complained about his cut, I was told that it should have booked the same groomer as the last two times, if I wanted the same cut. Funny story!

Decided to visit a cat that up for adoption and poor cat was looking for a space to use the restroom because that is where her blankie was!

This is my favorite place to shop when it comes to buying products for my dogs BUT pets that are up for adoption is where they are a great fail. I was looking at all the animals and reptiles that were in the Green Oaks location and they are poorly taken care of. One of the cats had a blankie in her litter box and she was trying so hard to find an area to use the restroom, the cages are unsanitary and the Beta fish are even worse! I literally could not even see the fish the water was so filthy. I brought it to the attention of a young female employee claiming to be the "manager" and she claimed it had just been changed. When she walked back to the register she made a remark under her breath, then, telling another customer how foolish I was making such a big deal over it and it was just a fish!

The clinic at this pet smart is a disgrace. Unfair charges, improper diagnosis, over charging, rude people.

From start to finish, Meranda & her team were incredibly knowledgeable, professional, thorough, and communicative. We received regular updates, photos, and progress reports, which gave us so much peace of mind while Mochi was away. It was clear he was in great hands and being trained with care and consistency. What really stood out was how intentional they were about involving us in the process. They made sure we understood the training, practiced with Mochi, and felt confident continuing everything at home so the results actually stick post-board and train. Mochi came home happier, more confident, and so much better behaved - and we feel empowered as owners, not left guessing. We highly recommend Night and Day K9 to anyone considering professional training. Worth every penny!

I highly recommend might and day k9 training.

He is now a very fond memory of a wonderful pet and companion. We lost him to cancer about 4 years ago. The Way I messed up is with our current 7.7 pound 15 month old Pomeranian. We attempted to train him using Lucky Dog training in Keller. We tried obedience, manners and zen classes. As he completed each of these classes our goal was to get him into agility. We were assured he was ready for agility based on the instructor's recommendations. Our first Agility teacher was patient and very good with our little man. Our second agility instructor was very good at agility course work but was terrible at teaching him or us behavior techniques. Mind you the techniques we learned in the previous classes only worked minimally at best. It all came to a head when we were given very strict instructions as to not come to class early, remove him from the training area when he was not in the ring; all in a text message. No phone call until the decision was made to remove him from the program. The excuse was that the trainer was busy. If they had enough time to send a text, a phone call would have been quicker and we might have been able to come to a compromise. We had no clue that this was coming. We had concerns but no way given help to deal with our dog. After a call from the owner it was decided our dog was no longer welcome. In Desperation, I called Brian and explained the situation. He was overwhelming willing to help. In the approximately 6 weeks since the occurrence at Luck Dog, Brian has our little man in line and he is much easier to take in public. I venture to say he will be a wonderful dog in short order. Brian accomplished more in six weeks than Lucky Dog training was able to accomplish in five months. You cannot go wrong with using this man.

Our poor pupper was attacked twice by the same two dogs and it completely changed his behavior. He just lost trust in other dogs and became aggressive when he would come across another dog. We didn't know how to reverse this behavior and that's when we started researching on dog training. My fiancé found Off Leash, watched all of the videos on their training and we decided to go for their 8 week program. We started with the trainer Brandon and he was wonderful. He really took the time to let Angus get comfortable with him and showed us several commands that had us in awe. Brandon was no longer going to be available on Saturday's so we were going to be switching with Sarah. Brandon observed her for a few session and then she was solo. It was the same service all across the board. The last 2 or 3 sessions, we went to dog parks but just to walk around them, allowing Angus to get familiar with being around other dogs, and how to control his behavior. This has honestly made a HUGE difference with our pupper! The training doesn't stop even though we're done with the program. We're now able to walk off leash with him around the complex and he can place anywhere we point to. We still have to work on getting Angus to be more relaxed when coming in contact with other dogs but we're very confident that we have the proper tools to get him there!
