I took my fur baby to get a bath on 2/13. The person that was checking her in felt on her and stated that the dog needed her tail shaved because there were "knots". This is the same person that previously had shaved the tail without informing me prior to doing so. Needless to say I took my fur baby away. I know I had brushed and combed her before her appointment. Call some other places and got her an appointment for today. They also checked her for "knots" and none was found. I asked her if she was sure and she checked again. NO KNOTS were found. I will miss Sky grooming my baby. However,that lady I most certainly won't. PetSmart we need to do better read more

Online scheduling was easy. Groomers were friendly and caring for my fur babies. Very prompt

Workers were very rude and offered to no help to me and my family but they had what I needed for my dog.

We took Milo our Maltese in for grooming today 2/13/2023 and were extremely disappointed. I could have given a 5 year old a pair of scissors and gotten a far superior job done. Do not waste your time and money at PetSmart in Florence SouthbCarolina. read more

What an absolute disaster. Stopped in on our road trip because husband said he grabbed the leashes, but didn't. Oh, well, I'd been wanting a couple new nice leashes for the girls anyway. So, instead of stopping by a dollar store or Walmart went to the way more expensive petsmart...aisles are in disarray. Employees don't know their own inventory. I walked in, not greeted which, fine, don't need that since I'm on a mission. Got to the leash aisle and chaos. Disorganized shelves and hooks of collars, harnesses and leashes. Looking for a simple black leash with a smaller hook since one of the girls is not even 5lbs. None to be found. Ok, so pushing other items around in search for any small leash for a small dog. Found one! Pink with rhinestones. Oh, lord. Whatever, we need one. Walk over to ask one of the workers if they have leashes for cats thinking that'd help with the small size. Directs to me aisle 9? Nope. Litter and catnip there...aisle 7, there they are. Only another mess and digging around found a leash, but for a large cat! I'm laughing inside at this point because this quick pit stop with the dogs in the car still since no leashes has me dead. Go back to dog leashes, find a fun hiking one for the big dog along with an unnecessary hip clip treat bag, but I'm an emotional shopper so I'll leave it at that. Checking out, a different employee asks if I found everything ok. Well, no. However, let whomever does your purchasing know you're running low on most basic essentials for dogs and the shelves are all a mess. Employee went on a rant about covid...so tired of those, so moved things along to get TF out of there to get back on the road. Thanks for reading of you made it this far. Life is short. Okay, so I am pet sitting for an adorable 4 legged family member. A canine, and the owner left me treats to reward the dog, but not nearly enough for the 10 days. We ventured to PetSmart the other day. The floor clerk was exceptional. Asked for a certain Greenies treat, but the poor dog was overwhelmed with the people, sites, sounds and smells. She immediately assisted me is calming him dog and never hesitated to win him over. Great job PetSmart! In case you are wondering, the family member rescued the dog from an shelter, where he was left for a year and his previous owners abused him. He is a totally healthy and a loving dog with everyone in the family. Nothing like a dogs loyalty. But, I have to hand it to PetSmart for hiring knowledgeable and caring associates. And those that understand every dog is not the same, but just like people. read more

Inconsistent experiences here on a consistent basis. I've taken my dog regularly for grooming and also tried their training program for new pups. The staff is always friendly but never the same. If they can't keep their employees, they can't teach them to do a consistent job, which then gets passed on to customers. For example, our trainer was fired halfway through our puppy training course (never did find out why) and the replacement spent the remaining sessions complaining about the job done by the original woman (which I thought was fine) and trying to sell us another course. The groomers take anywhere from an hour to three, so it's hard to plan around, and prices recently started varying inconsistently, apparently based upon demand. Opaque and variable pricing models work for airlines, but for a dog bath? Give me a break. Coupons that are honored one day are refused another. In short, it's fine, but I constantly feel nickel and dimed here and I wish there were a better option in Florence. read more

The last time I took my yorkies to PetSmart Grooming was the very last time. I asked for both yorkies to be groomed the way they groomed my female in the past. IF they were bathed at all the couldn't tell. They didn't get a haircut at ALL, no sanitary trim NOTHING!! I really do believe they sprayed some cologne on them and charged me $80.00. I complained to the salon manager and store manager and they did NOTHING!! It was the most PATHETIC experience I've ever had. What makes it so sad is that in the past they did a great job. I just don't get how they can get away with such poor quality service!! I really hope everyone that reads this review will take heed and find another groomer because even if you've taken your pets there for years it's very likely to happen to you too!! Pet salons like PetSmart should be shut down!!! read more

If I could give negative stars I definitely would. To say I was displeased with my experience is an understatement. I booked an appointment over the phone and I requested to have my dog groomed at 1 and there must have been a mix-up and they scheduled me at 12:30. That was just the tip of the iceberg, the receptionist did not show the slightest bit of concern about the mix-up. But the part that really disgusted me the most was the groomer Cassidy the way she rolled her eyes when I told her my issue and the talking over me when I got in contact with her manager was completely unexceptionable . I would not recommend anyone to come here. As someone who works with the public, I feel like Cassidy should have a hearing for the disrespectful attitude I encountered. The manager on the other hand showed very little concern about the mix up of the schedule on their part. I will definitely be contacting corporate!!!!!! read more

Seems to me your average Run-of-the-Mill PetSmart. I noticed that there are a lot of high reviews, which I am guessing because the local area doesn't have as many superstores. This PetSmart seems to have the same inventory as every other one I've been to (which is a lot). The only thing I have to comment is their stocking aquariums are half the size that I am used to. read more

While PetSmart is not the most convenient to my home, I prefer going all the way across town because the store and especially the employees are wonderful...always helpful and interested... They are true animal lovers and very knowledgeable about the animals and the store products. My experience with them has been excellent all the way. I also take my smaller dog there for nail clipping. The store is always neat and clean and it's nice that there is lots of traffic with pet owners and their pets. Have been faithful grooming customer for 3 years. Recently took my dog for apt day after vaccines given. Told on arrival would need to wait 48 hours after vaccine. Even though I let them know when I scheduled we were getting vaccines the day before appointment. Now this dog has been coming every 5 weeks for 3 years. Still not a problem. In detest and rules especially around vaccines. However not once did they offer to reschedule. Not once did they say they were sorry for the inconvenience. Not once did the take down information so they would have for future. Just stared. They was no other dogs there. Wonder why. Went straight to pet co. Scheduled him for the next day. Happy with the service and the staff. You have competition. Customer service. Being polite and making an effort to reschedule are very important. I am in healthcare and I can tell you our customers expect more from service. Pets are no different. At some point I may return but for now pet co will get my grooming business read more
