my daughter and I went to look for our betta at this store and more than half of their fish were either sick or dead. the dead fish water were yellow meaning these fish had been dead for quite some time, do they not check on their fish daily?

Purchased a 29 gallon aquarium and stand from Petco. Both were on sale and very affordable. Staff member who helped us with our selection was exceptionally helpful.

Just finished a six weeks Petmarts training class in Conroe for my new quarantine pup, Coco. I'm terrible with people names, and I could probably tell you all the dogs names in the class, but I think our instructor was Rachel (?). My pup and I looked forward to it each Saturday at 1:00 and she made sure to address all our questions and make recommendations for even the most unusual questions (my fur baby apparently has a strange fear of heights - even 2' off the ground!) My goal was to learn how to keep Coco safe, stay focused on me and my voice and learn some basic commands. She exceeded my expectations and I'm really appreciative of my instructors expertise. She noticed a lot of behaviors that I simply didn't know. Coco is the first puppy I've had in almost 30 years and my first puppy I'm rearing alone. My others have already been adults when they were rescued. I encourage anyone with a new furry friend to sign up for one of Rachel's classes - I'm really glad I did this.

Standing waiting for service, told the employee what I needed and she skipped me for another customer. Never will return to this store.

We also wanted some basic obedience training for the new puppy. We boarded the puppy for 3 weeks and during a move, we boarded our other 2 and they got a little remedial training and integration with their new sibling. The kennels are out in the country so to speak and the pens are all well built and keep dogs segregated and safe. There is good shelter and shade in each of the pens. Overnight boarding is available and our dogs are kenneled individually as they frequently have to spend the night. They know exactly where they are headed and believe their pen is theirs alone. Mike goes the extra mile for us, if early drop off or late pick up is needed, he is very agreeable to accommodating your needs. And the dogs love him, especially the one that started as a puppy there.

We adopted our Akita and was showing signs of nervousness and like any of his breed, very stubborn. The 3 weeks did a lot of change. He maybe older but Mike definitely did wonders. He has the space to run around and socialize with other dogs safely.

We initially thought we'd foster her for adoption due to her dog aggression issues. After working with Travis, we decided togive Rosie a forever home ourselves. We brought Travis in to privately train her so she didn't have to deal with the stress of a group setting and because we wanted a tailored training program. With Lone Star Dog Training, we received an excellent job. Travis educated us about how training is important and what results he felt we could see. Over the course of 4 months, Rosie went from being aggressive toward our other dogs to feeling safe and comfortable with them. She's even adopted our 12 year old border terrier as her sister. Rosie has progressed from a frightened stray who did not wag her tail or understand how to take affection, to bounding and leaping with joy when she sees her people. She now seeks out our affections and looks forward to spending time with us. If not for Lone Star Dog Training, we would not have decided to keep her. It showed us what a wonderful, fun and loving dog Rosie is. Thank you, Travis , for your dedication and patience with us.

He's a little terrier with his own demands and he wanted to rule our home and it was getting out of control. My husband and my 2 kids where so concerned because we had 2 different dog trainers and nothing seemed to work, but once we met Mallory she helped our dog and more importantly instructed us on what to do to have our dog be a loving & obedient member of our family. Mallory has so much knowledge on dog behavior, it was so fun to learn from her and within one week of implementing her strategies we saw a drastic change for the better in our little rescue dog. We went from thinking that we were going to have to give our dog back to the rescue place to now having this adorable, fun, loving dog who brings us laughter every day. Hands down, Mallory is the best at helping you understand what a dog is thinking, what the dog needs and how to respond.

You'll get plenty of support you need along the way as long as you'll ask for it. I text Michael, sometimes daily, all my questions and concerns regarding the training, and I've never been left without an answer! He'll also provide a ton of materials (videos, books, articles) you need to familiarize yourself with to set you up for success. Me and my dogs are working on solving the fence fighting issue, and so far one of them is actually responsive to my efforts. When I reached out to Michael I didn't think that much can be done, but now I see a light at the end of a very, very long tunnel :). All our sessions have been online so far, as few days before our first scheduled meeting the stay at home order was placed. Online conference worked just as well for us, and we didn't have to delay the training any longer. Thanks to the training, we have an energetic sweet boy instead of a lot of stress and worry.

Approximately 10 seconds after my initial search, it was very obvious that Scott was the easy decision. He's been collecting reviews for years and virtually all of them are 5-stars. It was a virtual guarantee that we would be happy if we called Scott. So we called Scott. Yes, these services are not cheap. But you get what you pay for and what you pay for here is a human being who speaks dog. Owning a puppy can be the source of unlimited stress, but you can really minimize that stress when you have someone like Scott to help you learn how to tackle all of the issues that pop up along the journey. And honestly, you plan to have a puppy in your life for many years - getting good behavior for potentially a decade+ is not money you are going to regret spending. We purchased the middle-tier package which consisted of 5 visits (4 in home and 1 at a park) + the opportunity to reach out to him whenever we have any future issues and need a bonus session or just some help. Scott came to our house for visit #1, and I will never forget how hard I laughed when he *immediately* transformed our girl from a cracked out puppy to a completely submissive and obedient dog after a simple, two-step action. And his method is never to hurt your dog - this is all done by just mimicking the behavior of an older dog who is teaching a puppy how to behave. Each visit resulted in better and better behavior. As of this writing, our puppy is 5 months old, but we have greatly accelerated her emotional intelligent, far behind her actual age. Our last visit was at a big park that had a dog park and a playground. There were a bunch of kids playing on the playground and they wanted to come say hello and pet our dog. Of course, I forgot all of *my* training and was failing to control her from jumping and being crazy. Scott patiently watched me messing up, and eventually, calmly walked over, took the leash, did his two step command, and just like the first day: POOF, it was like an exorcism. Suddenly, she was calm and submissive, allowing the toddlers to pet her without anymore lunatic behavior. The group of parents literally ooh'd and ahh'd at this marvel. I'm so glad others were able to witness his magic. And I'm so glad Scott was one of our first calls after we brought Birdie into our lives. I highly recommend you do the same.
