My "rude dog that could bite if not taught manners". Looking fresh from his bath and nail trim!

Dropped my lab off for a bath and basic grooming. The intake person was exceptionally condescending, explaining to me that excited dogs bite (my happy, well trained dog was greeting her..?), and that he needed to be taught manners. Ummm ok? She was snippy and unfriendly, and for someone who works with both people and dogs, left me feeling as though I wouldn't want to return. My dog came for a bath, not for your ill timed and unwanted comments about my dog's behavior. Kthanksbye.

Not a reliable place to get your dog groomed. They did a horrible and unfinished job. I was told my dog was not "cooperating" so they could not finish grooming her but somehow managed to completely shave her. My dog is so sweet and has been groomed before without any issues. It goes to show that they need better groomers who are actually good with animals. The staff (Alexis S. and others) are rude and not helpful. Please don't bring your pets here unless you want them treated poorly. My girl has not stopped crying since her appointment this morning

DO NO TAKE YOUR PETS TO PETSMART!!! This is what Bella looks like after being at the groomer for 8 hours! At 10:23am I received a call that she had a "little scratch" but it was protocol to be seen by their vet. Well 5 hours later, no call and she hadn't been seen by the vet yet (I was informed however that it's bad enough to need stitches) The manager, Jennifer, was completely incompetent and refused to give me her last name so I could file a formal complaint. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!! I will never take another pet of mine to PetSmart!

I've taken my dog Marley to Boom Town before and had a decent experience, but this recent visit was…read moreincredibly disappointing. I originally had an appointment with Kami, which was canceled last minute. I was then booked with Martin at 10:30 AM on August 30th. I arrived on time and clearly described the haircut I wanted for my dog Marley: a teddy bear cut on his head and a 1 or 2 guard on his body. I was told the grooming process typically takes around 4 hours. However, I received a text at 3:24 PM--five hours after drop-off--indicating that Marley's grooming was just beginning. Despite multiple follow-ups, no one was able to clearly explain the delay or the timeline reflected in those texts, which left me to reasonably believe that Marley had been sitting in a cage for hours. This extended wait time was never communicated in advance, and I was not given the option to pick him up earlier. When I returned, it was clear the grooming had been rushed and did not reflect what I had requested. Had I known he'd be sitting in a cage that long, I would've picked him up. The haircut was rushed and poorly executed. His ears were still dirty, his sanitary area untouched, and his coat had long hairs all over. The cut on his face was not what I asked for and cannot be fixed until it grows out. When I raised these concerns, the initial response from the owner acknowledged the groom was not up to Boom Town's standards and offered to redo it. I declined, as I no longer felt comfortable returning after such a stressful experience for Marley. I requested a refund, which was denied. The tone of the conversation shifted dramatically after that, with the owner suddenly defending the groom and suggesting Marley was difficult--despite him having had many successful grooming appointments elsewhere without issue. I asked for a reasonable resolution, not an immediate response, and still received no explanation for why Marley's sanitary area wasn't trimmed, why his ears were filthy, why his breath wasn't refreshed, or why his face was cut so drastically different from the teddy bear style I requested. Marley is groomed every six weeks and previous groomers have confirmed he's never been difficult. It's clear that Martin was unable to communicate effectively and that the service fell short of Boom Town's own standards. Here's what I paid for but did not receive: * No sanitary trim * No breath refresh * No ear cleaning * Incorrect head and face cut I even offered to pay for the body cut, but requested a partial refund for the services that were either skipped or poorly done. I gave Boom Town every opportunity to make this right before resorting to a review or chargeback. Unfortunately, they chose not to take responsibility. I'm sharing this to help other pet owners make informed decisions. Marley was visibly anxious after the appointment, and the quality of service did not reflect the price or the promises made.
