    Petsmart College Station groomed our dog SOO close it caused an infection and over $300.00 in veterinary bills/supplies. Petsmart disagrees with the veterinarian's assessment (a professional who treated the dog) and refuses to take responsibility for injuring the dog! DO NOT let them near your pets! Manager was VERY rude!

    The girls who work here (esp the Manger) all impressed me so much with their customer service! They helped me get stuff I needed for a rescue kitten right before closing and even called the other store and had them hold items for me.. Thank you y'all are awesome

    Updating my review since I've been a regular customer for a few years now. Their grooming salon has gotten better- Christina did an amazing job grooming my Miniature Schnauzer! She took what I asked her and made it better. Even my dog was loving all the attention she got with her new cut. The only reason I am taking a star off is because of PetSmart price match policy update. They no longer take price matches with Chewy, and other online pet stores. (They do for some) Its disappointing and pet supplies is already expensive especially in a college town. Other than that, the store is fantastic.

    Brought my dog in for a groom covered in stickers that had matted in to her face fur, I tried so hard to get them out myself and she would get angry with me and run away. They did an awesome job shaving her clean down and getting every last sticker out! They even did the extras for a groom without charge!

    As you can see right under "Fluval" it says formally Aquaclear and is in fact the same product as mentioned in my review.

    So to start this review off: I go to PetSmart almost every day, if not then every other day, so it is safe to say I spend a lot of money at their stores. I have multiple fish tanks and other pets which I take excellent care of and make sure they have optimal conditions in the cages/aquariums. Today I went into this PetSmart as I have been doing for over a year since I moved up here and got some stuff for one of my new cichlid fish tanks: fluval pump, media, heater. I always price match my items to get the best deal since I spend so much money each week on my animals. As I was at the cash register checking out, some grouchy manager (I would like to call her a dirty name but am a better person than that) who was obviously having a bad day walks up. She goes to tell me with an attitude (which was highly unprofessional for a manager) that I can't price match my items because the image on the PetSmart.com website didn't match the box (just to let whoever is reading this know the box was in fact the same brand, company and product.) The manager told me that they don't price match items when the picture online is the old boxing, which is complete BS. It is quite funny she said this because I have been price matching items that are the same product but have the older images on PetSmarts website for a year, so maybe PetSmart should update the pictures to the new packaging, or maybe this manager needs to be fired for lying. If you don't know Fluval use to be called Aquaclear. Now they are called Fluval Aquaclear and have new packaging which is still very similar to the old. When I price match I enter the code which is on the shelf below the listed tag price into the PetSmart.com search tab and the image is sometimes the older style of bottle, box, bag, etc. Back to my point, when you type that code into the search bar the product will pop up with a priced matched price with a picture of the item you are searching. Regardless of if the company switched to new designed packing the item in the, box, bag, or bottle is in fact still the same product. I will never be shopping at this PetSmart again due to this manager being so rude and acting like I'm an idiot for price matching. She obviously does not need to be working in retail because that store just lost a loyal customer who had been going there almost every day and spends a good amount of money. In the end I did get my items price matched, after I told the manager I've been price matching for a while and have never had this problem. She still insisted that they do not price match items if the picture on the PetSmart website is the older packaging, which once again is complete bs and a lie. I have one last thing to say, whoever that manager was needs a serious attitude check or was having a bad day and needs to leave her personal issues outside of the workplace.

    Staff was very helpful. Our dog loves to shop here. They had exactly what we needed. The shop was very convenient to us.

As pet owners sometimes we don't know all the little details that our groomers should see. Misty, takes time to get to know your animals and their personalities. As a one woman business owner you can't help but appreciate how she can care so much about your animals while maintaining a growing business. Her rates are too reasonable and needs to increase because of the awards she constantly wins and showcases on her wall for being a top groomer and from showing her dogs. If you call and are lucky enough to get a time slot for her to groom your dog, take it!! She gives back to the community with various photo ops with the Easter bunny and Santa and does it all for donations for charity. We are so lucky to have Misty in our community. My family is a proud owner of 4 doodles that Misty grooms for us. I am also a local small business owner.

She rudely informed me that she was waiting on a call about her mother being in the hospital. I am a very compassionate person, and I apologized immensely for inconveniencing her. She continued to be extremely nasty to me. She hastily told me that she was not excepting any new clients, and she would not answer any of my further questions. She was also extremely disrespectful to me. I will NEVER take ANY of my 7 animals to her. I highly do not recommend anyone calling her! I am a firm believer in excellent customer service, especially when you are in a business that you have to deal with the public. I was also raised to be respectful to EVERYBODY no matter what!!!!

    I've taken my dog Marley to Boom Town before and had a decent experience, but this recent visit was…read moreincredibly disappointing. I originally had an appointment with Kami, which was canceled last minute. I was then booked with Martin at 10:30 AM on August 30th. I arrived on time and clearly described the haircut I wanted for my dog Marley: a teddy bear cut on his head and a 1 or 2 guard on his body. I was told the grooming process typically takes around 4 hours. However, I received a text at 3:24 PM--five hours after drop-off--indicating that Marley's grooming was just beginning. Despite multiple follow-ups, no one was able to clearly explain the delay or the timeline reflected in those texts, which left me to reasonably believe that Marley had been sitting in a cage for hours. This extended wait time was never communicated in advance, and I was not given the option to pick him up earlier. When I returned, it was clear the grooming had been rushed and did not reflect what I had requested. Had I known he'd be sitting in a cage that long, I would've picked him up. The haircut was rushed and poorly executed. His ears were still dirty, his sanitary area untouched, and his coat had long hairs all over. The cut on his face was not what I asked for and cannot be fixed until it grows out. When I raised these concerns, the initial response from the owner acknowledged the groom was not up to Boom Town's standards and offered to redo it. I declined, as I no longer felt comfortable returning after such a stressful experience for Marley. I requested a refund, which was denied. The tone of the conversation shifted dramatically after that, with the owner suddenly defending the groom and suggesting Marley was difficult--despite him having had many successful grooming appointments elsewhere without issue. I asked for a reasonable resolution, not an immediate response, and still received no explanation for why Marley's sanitary area wasn't trimmed, why his ears were filthy, why his breath wasn't refreshed, or why his face was cut so drastically different from the teddy bear style I requested. Marley is groomed every six weeks and previous groomers have confirmed he's never been difficult. It's clear that Martin was unable to communicate effectively and that the service fell short of Boom Town's own standards. Here's what I paid for but did not receive: * No sanitary trim * No breath refresh * No ear cleaning * Incorrect head and face cut I even offered to pay for the body cut, but requested a partial refund for the services that were either skipped or poorly done. I gave Boom Town every opportunity to make this right before resorting to a review or chargeback. Unfortunately, they chose not to take responsibility. I'm sharing this to help other pet owners make informed decisions. Marley was visibly anxious after the appointment, and the quality of service did not reflect the price or the promises made.
