Then, I had applied to meet her for adoption & met her, & took her home never looking back. This sweet girl had some tough knocks and behavior issues to go along with them. I enrolled her in a 6 week program with Mighty Dog Services. The team was patient and worked with her throughout the training. Her fear of other dogs, barking at people, pulling on leash walking, nervous pacing, separation anxiety all were resolved. She's a a happy camper that knows what I ask her do, she does it and happily takes praise and treats- and lots of love. They helped this dog overcome a rough past so she can trust and enjoy what she has now. She and I both are extremely thankful for the folks at Mighty Dog Services in Portland TN. They work with all breeds, ages and issues. They truly treat each as an individual and unlock all the potential the dog has to offer. As a dog mom- just as a mom of children. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and diligence of the facility. It actually smelled nice! The staff made sure to take down AND understand all of Roscoe's needs before we booked and again at drop off. But what was the best moment was when a staff member took his leash to lead him to his kennel. For the first time ever there was NOT a fight, hesitation or even a glance back! My special dog was at ease here! Even he knew this was a good place with good people! I am so thankful to have found them!

Our entire group was aware of his need for a little extra space until he got settled in, and they have been a blessing to work with. I'm not at all stressed out in class, which makes it so much easier to focus on my pup. Our private lessons have paid off, and he is doing so well in the group setting. We really wouldn't be where we are today if it weren't for Ashley and the entire DDO crew.

Ended up having to turn around and return the animal I had just bought because it bit me and a friend super hard and wouldn't let go. A very nice staff member said that it was absolutely okay, but another staff member was a bit rude about it, saying that "They are bite-y animals. Maybe you should get a different kind of animal if you can't handle being bitten." Which doesn't sound quite that rude at first glance, but their tone was unsettling and seemed odd considering I'd had this animal before many times, I'm well experienced and know that this behavior in this type of animal (especially as an adult) is unusual. I wanted to enjoy my experience here, I was refunded but this place is selling animals that have no business being there, passing them off as "babies with unformed personalities" (WHEN THEY ARE GROWN ANIMALS) and then shaming you when you return them for completely valid issues. Another thing that is concerning is their rule that "Customers aren't allowed to hold the animals on the premises, after purchase, when they are off of the property, then they can." Which is dumb, they know what they are doing, they know that no one will buy them if they know how the animals actually act.
