They kept her there for over 4 hours and when I picked her up she didn't smell or look like she got a bath at all more like they just sprayed her with a spray, was shedding more then when I brought her in, her nails weren't trimmed at all and was covered in poop. I paid over $100 to just bring her home and have to give her another bath and brush myself. Not to mention they must have not given her any water the whole time because the second she walked through the door she drank her whole water bowl. Very disappointed.

Dejah (I think that's how you spell her name) was Accommodating and able to find a spot for my pup when I had concern for an acute respiratory Illness. We were able to wait in a scenic field out back since doggy was suspicious for contagious illness and is anxious. She seemed to prefer this outdoor visit and Dr. Willis and vet tech Macy took great care of her as they completed the exam. They were very knowledgeable and I felt my dog to be in great hands. Every appointment is $700+ (even with paying for their "care club insurance" program) for them to tell us he's fine (he's not) and pass us off, refer us, or tell us to come back to run the same tests for $700+ and still get no answers or results. The straw that finally broke the camels back was when we brought our cat in and there was no vet available. So they referred us to an emergency hospital, but not the one that's covered with the care club so again we got another $700+ bill. As part of the care club, it clearly states on the website/app that one specialty/emergency consult at blue pearl hospitals is covered per year. When I asked the practice manager why he was not referred there instead for coverage, she said it was because "they don't actually cover pets on our plan". I advised her that is very deceptive marketing as it is clearly listed as a perk of paying for the care club *photo attached below*. She also tried to justify it saying it's because blue pearl is "further" ...but for an extra 10 minutes drive I would be more than willing to do so to see a provider in network. It seemed like a cop out answer and again very deceptive dismissive answers. We still have no answers for our pet, but are out about $2000 total since we started this journey to find health answers. The manager said the care club only covers "exam fees" (which she said is $100s of dollars in savings, but according to the invoice is actually only $30 of savings *photo attached below*) So paying $20 a month to only save $30 on the off chance you have to bring your pet in... to me that makes absolutely no sense financially. No actual tests/vaccines/medical interventions are covered. There also appears to be a high turnover of staff. He never seems to see the same people, so that could also be contributing to the problem of getting no answers. But due to the deceptive pricing structure and marketing, lack of care and knowledge from employees, we will seeking care elsewhere. There was also a strong consensus in online community forums that VCA Broad street is one practice to stay farrrrr away from, wish I would have known a couple thousand dollars ago!

Knowing cats well, she did not over-groom to the point of stressing out Misha. It was easy to tell that Ashley loves her work, loves animals and is very sensitive to their needs.
