I've used PetSense's grooming many times before and never had any problems. However, today I took my dog in to get a bath and nail trim. During the pickup they told me she did a good job, but that she has one dewclaw shorter than the other. I didn't think anything of it. When I went to look at my dogs dewclaw, it was drastically shorter and covered in an orangey brown substance. They apparently cut the claw so short it started bleeding and they put that substance on it to make it stop bleeding. They didn't inform me of any of this at all at the pickup. I had to call them to see what they did and what they used on my dog. I get that mistakes can happen, but to not even inform the owner of what happened? That's not okay. read more

the store was clean and i do realize we were walking in the door at 7:50 pm when they close at 8:00pm however, im not sure if the cashier was just having a bad day but she walked out from a room to ask if we needed anything and i said no thanks, she then said "we close in 5 minutes" which was odd thinking they closed at 7:55. we were looking for a new collar for our dog quick since we were in town, so we knew where we what we were there for so we wouldn't be in there long. we are looking around at the collars and 2 MINUTES pass and she tells us once again, "we are closing soon". so then we just get a harness and i said to my boyfriend "if it doesn't fit i'll just return it i'm just ready to go" we get to the counter and an older couple walks in (one disabled with a cane) looking to get some crickets "super quick before yall close" is what one lady said. ONCE AGAIN the cashier was very rude saying "we close in a few minutes. what do you need i don't have a lot to sell" all in a completely rude tone. i paid with a card i've been having problems with and just wanted to see if it was working again and when it didn't she quite loudly said "yeah it doesn't have any money on it do you like have something else" (yes i had the money the card was just being odd since me recently moving to a different state) so i paid with cash and when she handed me back my change she just dropped it into my hand and almost made the coins fall. im not one to complain however the way this lady seemed absolutely miserable having to deal with a few customers is beyond me. i get trying to get out at a decent time but that's still no excuse to be rude towards customers. cashiers name was grace read more

I went in to buy a new leash and to talk to them about grooming. The lady was really nice and helpful and decided to make an appointment for the following week. When I went for the appointment the manager greeted me, I told him I was there for grooming and he looked surprised. Then went on to say how no one wrote down anything(I saw her write it down). He changed his story several times before asking me to reschedule. I was reluctant but I did make another appointment since he said it would be 50% off. I called before that appointment and the manager answered. He said he was glad I called because all of his employees quit on him and was unable to do it. Murray could really use a nice pet store but with the poor management I dont know how they are still in business. read more

The staff is very friendly. The cages in the front do smell, but that's how cat litter is. Went in to buy my dog a new leash and harness and spent $103.00 (we also bought the collar and a tag). The harness isn't the best quality. Once went in to get dog food and when I went to check out I told them my information and I knew the bag was supposed to be free, but the man said "ma'am you have to buy 9 more bags until you get a free one." I'm naturally a really shy person so I didn't do or say anything (oh and I should add I bought two bags). When back in about 3 weeks to buy a new bag and they said that the bag I was buying would be free. Left me feeling very confused and puzzled. Other than this their pretty great!! read more

Was lied to about grooming prices. I specifically asked how much to trim my two yorkies was given a price of 29.99 and this was to include a cut, shampoo, nail trim and gland cleaned. When I picked them up they barely even looked like they had been groomed and was charged 39.99 each. I will continue to do business with PetSmart they have never lied to me! read more
