Do NOT get your dogs nails trimmed here. I kept wondering why my dog kept walking funny and licking her paws. They use a grinder thing and don't even look at the paws ..... half of my dogs nails were ground down to the quick, making them bleed and very sensitive. Also $18 just wow. I was so happy they took a walk in and was able to fit her in there schedule. Clint Epps was the groomer and he was so nice and helpful. I wish I could leave no stars. I'm so angry, frustrated, and deeply bothered by the groomer, Clint, at the Morristown store. He treated me and my lhasa apsa terribly. He was rude. He was unkind. He was a pompous jerk. My baby is 12. First, I'm told Clint that if Bentley did not want him to do something, don't do it. Clint and Dorothea took my boy to the back room to shampoo and dry him. I walked around the store a bit and walked back in to the grooming area and I heard my Bentley screaming. I was shocked, and I called for them to stop. They came out and told me that 'he doesn't like the blow dryer. Bentley has been groomed every 8 weeks his whole life. Has always loved 'haircut day'. After some discussion, I said ok, I'll be outside, maybe it will go better. About 5 minutes later, Dorothea came out and said that Clint said he couldn't do it. I went back in, and Clint said, how about coming back next week. I'll cut him first, then bathe him. I agreed and made an appointment. There is no appointment on the books for my baby boy tomorrow. So not only Is Clint's oredonality, bedside manner, whatever offensive, he no lied to my face. Do yourself and your babies a favor, and stay away from this man. read more

Grooming Denied my dog for a SCHEDULED grooming appointment because they said they will not accept any clients that have taken anxiety medicine even if it is prescribed from a licensed vet. I contacted my vet and was told that this medication is given to thousands of dogs every day for this very reason. There is also no signage or warnings of this prior to your appointment. This is a great pet store. It's on the small side but has everything you need. I've been here twice for my new beautiful Golden Retriever rescue. The prices are high but it's like everywhere and everything else. They offer dog grooming and it's cute to see them getting groomed. Nice employees. Plenty of parking. read more

My stepfather took his dog to be groomed when they walked in his small dog and the groomers dog barked at each other ,She told him his dog was aggressive and would not groom her. Ummm because a small dog barked a couple of times its aggresive? He talked to the manager and unfortunately made another appointment to have his dog groomed , The result was a disaster! The poor things looks like a lion , the worst grooming job every!! The only bright spot is that they cut the poor little things hair for free , so I guess the used someone in training or just didn't care. This place is terrible , terrible customer service and obviously no grooming skills . We do not recommend this place unless your into being treated rudely and embarrassing your dog with a haircut that looks like a three year old cut. read more

I had never seen or heard of this store, so you can imagine when my husband and I found it after moving to Tennessee excitement was all around. My husband had a phone call so I went ahead in the store and was blown away, I was greeted as soon as I entered but in my awe all I could do was nod at the worker lol. I was just amazed at the amount of merchandise lining the store , when I noticed a worker seemed to be friendly asked me if I needed anything and made a little small talk about what animals I had , I ended the conversation with I had two american bulldogs and a multi-poo when my husband hollered for me. What he brought to my attention infuriated me. Never have I ever been followed by an employee of any store! Every turn we took in the store testing our theory , she was there acting as if she had something to do in that area. We tested this for a good thirty minutes while still looking at the wide verity and every time she was there close behind. She would gets certain looks on her face every time we touched something or noticed her following us. I'm not certain what made us a target , maybe it was because we looked more down to earth and less dressy than everyone else but it was unacceptable. We have went back for his mom but not for us and I don't see us going back. read more

My parents have a horse of a dog who is the sweetest most gentlest of them all. He is a standard poodle Great Pyrenees mix and his hair is in between these two breeds. My parents took him to this groomer and several, and I mean several hours later, the got the call to come pick him up. My parents dog couldn't get out of this store fast enough! He even ran into the door on his way out, almost jumping into the first truck he sees just to get away! He had t pee like no tomorrow as well. He smelt like a French whore too. (Figure if Speech)! His hair cut was terrible. And it doesn't take special skills to shave down a big dog! No special haircut or design was requested either. Just shave him down for the summer. Oh it was also about $100 too. My parents dog is almost as big as a mini pony so he has a bladder! For him to express his feelings in the way he did was disturbing! He wasn't taken out to go potty in the amount of time he was there. Again, was at least 5 hours! Yes he went before he was taken into the store! He was showing signs of abuse & being terrified. This general giant had never shown signs like this before or sense... He's now home-groomed! My parents will NEVER EVER step foot into this store again! I suggest you follow their lead and go somewhere else! Our family dogs are our family! We will never go there again, nor will we suggest this place to others. Beware! read more

We've been coming here for almost 2yrs now. The selection is great considering your only other nearby option is at places like Walmart. We also use the groomers for our large German Shepherd. I really like this groomers as the prices are fair and the facilities are immaculately cleaned. We often times take into consideration the health of our dog because so many others are not vaccinated and whatnot. The customer service all around is very wonderful. The only reason I rated this at 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the prices in the actual store. We pay an exorbitant amount on dog food. For example, our dog chews the compacted raw hide bones. I can get them around $5 cheaper for the same brand and quality at walmart. But like I said, the diversity on the selection in the store for other items is fairly good. So if it's something you can get elsewhere, I'd do that. read more

I really appreciated all the staff and how informative they were. Especially when I brought my two young boys in along with our German Shepard puppy they were extremely patient and kind. I don't tnink the hair cut of the Maltese with the quote worst hair cut ever is very fair considering they have changed groomers and the post didn't even offer the groomers name that did it. Maybe a competitor?!? IDK, but quite unfair seeing as I've seen a lot of their work and I think they are definitely the most knowledgeable in their field and you can always bring your animal in with you. We had an appointment made 2 weeks in advance to get our dog groomed. My husband took time off work to be able to take our dog on a Sunday at 11 am. He is a truck driver and usually leaves out early on Sundays. This was our very first time to get our dog professionally groomed and we were very excited. We arrived 20 minutes early and eager to speak with the groomer. The store opened promptly at 11 am, we went inside smiling and ready to go. Our dog was very nervous, but this was expected. A very nice young man met us at the door and was very helpful in getting us settled and paperwork filled out. My husband asked if he was the groomer and the young man said that he was not. A few minutes went by and the young man said the groomer's name was Mindy and she should be there very shortly. At 1130 am I asked if she would be coming so he called her. I spoke with her on the phone and she said she thought the appointment was at 12pm. I asked when she would be there and she said at 12 pm. No apologies, I'm sorry for the confusion.. nothing... I said ok. Waited for another 40 minutes.. 1215pm and still no Mindy. An 1 hr and 35 min. later....I went back inside and was told she was on her way.. I thanked the young man for his help and explained that my husband had to go to work that's why we made the appointment at the time that we did. Needless to say, our poor dog will have to suffer with the embarrassing hair cut that we will give him next week. I wish someone would have wrote this review for me and I NEVER would have bothered to make the appointment.. Good luck at Petsense Groomers of Morristown.. They might be there.. and they might not!
